I have sent two of my children here for the past 2 years. This year, one is in first and the other is in second. Their teachers this far have been amazing and teach them so well. My stepdaughter (first grader) was pretty far behind when she started here in kindergarten and her knowledge has just flourished by the middle of first grade. I refuse to leave this school district. The office staff are so kind and helpful and the new principle Mr. Shill seems to be very genuine, as well.

Loved Ishikawa! The teachers are wonderful and everyone is extremely involved in different aspects of teaching. I have some wonderful memories going to this school!

Best school. Sent 3 of my kids there and they still love it and continue to go. Mostly female teachers. To me thats good. All nice and cooperative.

This school has gone so far down hill. The school is more concerned with pushing children through like cattle. The curriculum is seriously lacking, and needs to be updated. We will definitely be taking our children out of Mesa Public Schools for next year. Also, the PE teacher is horrendous.

Ok school 1 complain I had is on our first second third and fourth parent teacher conference first grade teacher misses Butler stated that my son was probably going to repeat a grade which is kind of ridiculous to state that on a first and second quarter of the school year she also said that my son needed to go get checked out by the doctor cuz there might be something wrong with him. very poor support from the teacher I would say and yes my son ended up flunking first grade. My son would come home very sad and not wanting to go back to school as I tried to reach out to the principal mrs.heath for a meeting with her but never got back to me. The principal heath must have gotten my message because teacher and I know it is because teacher mrs butler started acting very different and treating my son differently a little more nicer and saying good things about his progress and it did help cause my sons self esteem came up and he didnt want to go back to school but I still feel like flunking the first grade have a lot to do with his teacher being a bully. Also my daughter was flunked in kindergarten seems like the principal mrs.heath was being bribed by parents to accept their kids in this school even though they were not part of the neighborhood so classes where over loaded and my daughter was placed in a storage room with a few other kids and had a substitute teacher through out the year.

Ishikawa is a great school 4 kids
