Our 3-year-old son has been attending Tierra at this Windom location since it opened about 6 months ago. We absolutely love the high quality care he receives. The staff are very attentive and loving yet professional. We appreciate the healthy food, art activities, outdoor play, and the ability for him to expend tons of energy in the large gym on cold days. Our son is learning so much and we are grateful we can trust Tierra to nurture his growth. The fact that he is learning Spanish is icing on the cake!

We are so happy with TE Windom, we have been there since it opened and have had such a great experience. Lots of music and fun for the kids to stay active and engaged. They have an amazing indoor gym in addition to an awesome private play area outside. Amazing staff from teachers to administrators. Amazing food too!

I send my 2 kids to Tierra, a 4 year old and a 2 year old. This was the first time we had our kids not cared by their mom and family and we were very uneasy about it.Tierra looked amazing, super clean and the staff seemed extremely nice and capable so that helped a lot with our decision.Today, 4 months after the kids started, they are carrying full conversations in Spanish, they love it there, they know every staff member, talk about them and love them like family. The staff is so skilled and competent at what they do, so affectionate to the kids and treat them like they are their own in a very warm way.Not only we recommend Tierra Encantada, but we wish our kids could have this type of education and care throughout the rest of their school lives. To all the staff, you have our complete trust! We love you and we are extremely thankful for all that you do for our kids, they love you all so much and that makes us so happy and carefree at least about this part of their lives.

We love Tierra! The teachers are so loving and have tons of energy. Windom has a huge gym which is great for the winter months. The administration is great, very responsive and help translate when needed. Teachers from other classrooms know my daughters name and she loves going so thats what matters most!

We love Tierra Encantada Windom! The teachers and administration obviously care so much about the children in the facility. My son started in the infant room and all three teachers were amazing! They went on daily buggy rides outside and he was never sad to be there. He’s also a big eater and the teachers made sure he was never hungry. He moved to the toddler room in August and has been just as happy. He runs to the teachers with smiles every morning. They were supportive when we potty trained him early and he has done amazing with it, which is clearly a testament to the teachers hard work. The artwork he brings home is awesome and he seems to love the food (which is healthy!) They go outside and/or play in the gym daily which he also loves.Every staff member we see, from teachers and administrators to the cleaning staff and cooks, greet him by name which is so impressive to me. He loves it there! We were at a different Spanish immersion daycare before TE Windom opened and my husband said it best a few weeks after our switch He seems so much happier on the way home than he ever did before!I totally agree. We love you all! Thank you! Cant wait for our new baby to start there this summer!

We switched our children at 3.5yr and 6mo to TE Windom shortly after it opened. Their teachers are so warm and were very helpful in the transition. It was an adjustment for my son, who was being spoken to in a language he didn’t know for the first time, but it was no time at all and he was coming home singing in Spanish. He’s caught up with his reading and writing and math skills where he left off in English and now is thriving and learning so quickly. My daughter loves her teachers. Our experience with Director Alba and the other administrators, Maritza and Liz, has been great as well. They are bright and responsible. Overall, the school feels more like a community as the kids and teachers are often together. Thus, everyone (cooks to other class teachers) know my children and they know them. It’s been a great decision to move there so far.

We have a child in the toddler room and in the pre-K room. Tierra Encantada is easily our best daycare experience so far (we have been at two other centers previously). The whole staff including the teachers, administrators, facilities and kitchen staff are so loving to all of the children. My kids run to the staff in the corridors to be scooped up for a big hug. The food is excellent and is cooked on site. We appreciated having cloth diapers and bottles provided for our baby when she was in the infant room, it makes morning drop off a breeze. Our children didn’t know any Spanish when they started 8 months ago and now the four year old babbles away in complete sentences in Spanish. The classrooms are bright, clean and big, and the whole center is spotless. They also program multiple creative activities and themed days each month which our children look forward to. I honestly don’t have a single bad thing to say about this center. We’ve had an excellent experience at Tierra Encantada - Windom.

We were so excited to start in the infant room at Tierra Windom, and unfortunately, it was such a disappointing experience. Here are the reasons why:1. 2 out of the 3 teachers only spoke Spanish. The only bilingual teacher did not arrive until 9 am.2. The layout of the front desk is odd. It is not on the level you enter the building, and it is not staffed. If you have a question and cannot speak Spanish, there is no one to ask.3. The building does not seem secure. There are multiple entry points, and no one is monitoring who is coming and going.4. Poor communication-they did not return my phone calls regarding medical issues that occurred at the school.5. Daily reports were not completely filled out, so it was difficult to know what she was eating/not eating.6. The infants went outside 2x during the 3 months we were enrolled from June-September.7. The infant & toddler rooms have no natural light.8. They advertise wholesome & organic food, but the majority was processed and high in sugar.9. My daughter would be starving every time after leaving Tierra. When I inquired if seconds were offered, I was told infants could share their neighboring childs plate if they didnt finish.10. They dumped unused breast milk without communicating this to parents.11. The owner refused to inform other parents when there was a communicable disease in the room. (pinkeye)12. 2 of the 3 teachers in my daughters room were not warm and friendly. They definitely seemed overwhelmed.13. The room was not staffed 4:1 in the morning until 9 am.Two things they did well-the head teacher was fantastic. The artwork we brought home was great.

We have been here for 6 months with a 2 and 4 year old. We just moved from San Francisco where we were in a Spanish immersion school and were so happy to find this place. We love the amount of outdoor time they have and the amazing caring of the teachers and the head of the school. They have been prompt about getting back to us about any questions. I love that the teachers are Spanish mostly as it makes such a difference for the kids ability to learn. For those of us typical whore Americans who dont know other languages Im so happy that my kids will have access to cultures and language. At our previous school there was a notebook in all the rooms where parents could write questions or give updates in English and the English speaking admin would come around and write comments back and I think that would help. My oldest is flourishing and learning how to read already. I feel confident leaving my kids there in able and talented hands. One of the teachers plays the guitar and I love that they are exposed to music too. Thanks to all the maestros and maestras that make such a difference.

We have had an amazing experience at TE. Our son has been deeply loved and cared for by their exceptional staff. Though the center is large, their staff all knows our son’s name and they go above and beyond to build community. I recommend TE to all our family and friends!

Tierra Encantada - Windom has far surpassed our expectations! My husband and I were very stressed about moving our daughter from a home daycare with 7-8 kids to a preschool. Our older daughter was four and had been with the same provider for four years - she was like a second mom to her. When we transitioned to Tierra, the tears came as expected. What we did not expect was how quickly both of our girls adapted to the change. Our older daughter is very shy and we were worried that she would have trouble with the Spanish (especially entering Pre-K with kids who had already been part of an immersion program) but we were so pleasantly surprised. The teachers encourage her and have helped her our of her shell. Our younger daughter has grown leaps and bounds with the program at Tierra. My daughter adores her teacher, as well!.There is a wonderful outdoor play area for kids and an extremely impressive indoor gym for bad weather days and bigger events. When I say that almost all staff know my kids names, I am not exaggerating. This is truly a special place!

Tierra Encantada is such a warm, creative, and fun environment for kids! Our two kids attend Tierra part-time, and we so appreciate that option. Our four year old regularly comes home singing in Spanish and is proud to use his new vocabulary words. They make creative art projects that we have hanging around our home. Tierra is an amazing place, and our family is so thankful we found it!

We love this daycare! We were reluctant to send her son to daycare, because we felt that he was just going to be housed. so we actually waited until he was almost a year old, which coincided with when tierra encantada Windom opened its doors. The teachers are all great, the school is very clean. Is very secure, each door has a key reader, so it cannot be opened unless a parent have the key fob. that use cloth diapers, as do we, so this is very important to us. they feed the kids organic foods, with lots of fruits and vegetables, and water, so he isnt eating a diet of just cheese and rice. That he has graduated to the toddler room, and he is ecstatic. His current teacher is super speed, and she really has connected with her. We loves the indoor and outdoor play areas. They do art projects frequently. Management is quick to respond to emails. all in all, I feel that this is a very high-quality day care at a reasonable price for a center.

We moved our 16 month old son here when it opened and couldn’t be happier. It’s a fantastic facility in a great location. The classes are clean, the gym is incredible (it has a climbing wall!), and the outside playground is impressive. I am beyond impressed with the staff, from his classroom teachers Ms. Evelyn and Ms. Veronica, to Karina and the Uber kind lady at the front desk. I’m amazed at how many of the staff know my son’s name event though they are not his teachers- i.e. the chefs. Tierra Windom feels like family. Thank you to all the wonderful staff and admins that make it possible! We are glad you opened up in our neighborhood. ❤️

We have had an infant and a Pre-K child at TE-Windom since September. Our older daughter was used to an English speaking, small, in home daycare and the transition was tough, but all the Pre-K teachers rallied around her and now she refuses to leave before 5:30 (when she gets her late snack). TE-Windom is large - both in physical size and number of staff/children. Initially, as a parent, I will say that I was a bit skeptical - how could a center so big, actually feel warm and loving? I was convinced we were going to be sacrificing that for the Spanish immersion experience, organic food, cloth diapers, etc. But no, amazingly every staff member (not just their teachers) seems to not only know my daughters names, but also that they are sisters. Id say too that the lessons they are teaching the children will prepare them well for kindergarten. In just a few months, our older daughter is speaking in Spanish at home, writing her name, and bringing home fun math/writing worksheets. Theyre learning some geography now and shes talking about mapas all the time. Im so pleased we made the transition to TE-Windom. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and the beautiful, clean facility.

We love tierra encantada! Our child previously attended their Bryant location, so we have been at TE for 2 years. I am a spanish native speaker and it is really important that my child is raised bilingual, tierra is really helping us in the process! What we also like about Tierra is their caring staff, facilities, awesome food, cleanliness, safety, and when our child was an infant it was really convenient that they provided cloth diapers and purées. We couldn’t be happier with tierra! Our son child loves going to school! Thank you TE!
