Definitely worth the price! The course is straightforward and my instructors were super patient and helpful. They even gave us resume/interview tips for after you finish the program. Plus you receive your ATAB certification as well, which is a nice leg up. Highly recommend if youre looking for a comprehensive, hands on class.

Great experience. The teachers are knowledgeable, the curriculum is intense---and with studying and the immense amount of lab time they give you to practice drinks, you come away knowing a lot. Schedule flexibility is also wonderful here. A few times I couldnt make the day time classes I signed up for, and it was super easy to just switch to the night for a day here and there

I loved taking my 2 week course here! Stephanie was super informative and very insightful the entire time. I came to this school based in the very good reviews and I am very glad I did. I have had so much fun learning and getting the basics. Like any other career, it is up to everyone to keep learning and getting the experience in a real environment. I came here without any knowledge of how to make a drink properly or how to use the bar tools the right way. I have also learned how to free pour alcohol, and make many cocktails the right way. I had to memorize many recipes, and make the cocktails in a speed that I never thought I could done it. I was a rare case, I guess. I signed up for the weekend classes. But I could not complete the course per other priority more important to me. I did this not once but twice. Then seeing as this was not working for me, I attended a one week advanced class. ABC Bartending did not charge me any extra for this. They did however give me the confidence to think and move as a seasoned bartender would. I also learned the laws behind serving drinks, very important. After completing the course. It was a very fulfilling moment passing the test. Although I studied and practiced a lot, it just feels good getting it done. I surprised myself, but is thanks to the teachings of all the teachers there. Matt, is known to be an instant friend, he know the best tips and tricks. In signing up for a bartending course, I was looking to gain some basic knowledge, competence and confidence in going behind the bar in a professional setting. I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS SCHOOL. I took the one week class that is from 9-5, and at first I was skeptical that I could learn all about the art of bartending in such a short amount of time, but BOY was I wrong! I can honestly say after just five days that I feel like I could walk into any bar and do this job justice. Sure, I wont be perfect, but I feel 👏🏼 REBORN 👏🏼 and GAH I just feel so FULL OF KNOWLEDGE. Recently graduated from the weekend course. The school does a great job of replicating a real bar. In addition to learning how to make a variety of drinks, you also learn about the different types of liquors, beer and wine. I highly recommend taking Matts course. He kept the class fun while providing a great education. Even though the hours were long, Matt kept the class interesting from start to finish and delivered the information in a way that was easily digestible. Having learned a variety of techniques, I feel ready to adapt to the many different working environments a bartender may be in. Great experience!!

You learn a lot in a short amount of time but I can say that I can confidently go out and find a job and actually feel prepared for it. If you are comparing schools!! This is it! Really! I had a great experience at ABC Bartending School! Stephanie was primarily my teacher for the most part and twice a week Matt was there to offer another perspective as well as a couple of other teachers who were very friendly and willing to help. Met a lot of amazing people who I am still in contact with. I got a job as a bartender now and it pays the tuition right off within 3 days. Of course, the school cant guarantee that youll get a job (thats illegal!, run away ASAP!!) but they are more than willing to help you get a job. And you can go back to take refreshing classes at any time with no additional cost! I would suggest you do a 2 week course to allow time for information to settle. Theres a lot of information and recipes youll learn and 1 week just isnt enough time. But to each his own. Go in and check out the school, the teachers are really really nice and I promise you dont need a fancy, intimidating looking school to be a good bartender and land a job. This cozy, welcoming establishment is all you need! Good price, amazing teachers, great curriculum and friends!

I took the 2 week program, and it was the most amazing experience. Even though I did not know anything about liquor before, it was not difficult to get to know and understand all of the differences between all of those bottles. You get to know how are the made of, different name brands, and the most important thing is that you get to know and practice different famous cocktails. Having a job with unpredictable hours, I wasnt sure how I was going to be able to commit to the classes. But it turned out, the school provides flexible schedule options so that you never miss a lesson. The instructors were very friendly and helpful. And, while there were a lot of drink recipes that you had to learn, they organized the lessons so well and gave the classes enough chance to practice that I felt pretty confident when the time came to take the final test. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone who is interested in becoming a bartender - or even just wanting to enter the alcohol industry in general, as the school even covers laws that impact the field.

The classes are extremely fun because of the great teachings of Stevie and Stephanie. They’re very understanding and they make the class enjoyable and easy .Definitely recommend this school if you’re looking to learn the ways of bartending.

Omg I was going crazy trying to study everything but Stephanie reassured me that I’m going to be just fine. I took the two week 9-1 course and It allowed me to learn at a more steady pace while working. I’d recommend anyone to go here it was definitely worth it!!!! I PASSED!!!! I took a course here recently, something that Ive always wanted to do & as an effort to gain extra income. I honestly went into it just expecting an education so...imagine that i can say i gained a whole new family lol. This place is fantastic, Matt & Pied (the instructors) are just fantastic and my classmates were fantastic and as eclectic as they can be lol. I had researched a few places prior but Im soooo happy that i chose ABC, not only am i now a bartender but Im part of a really cool collective, i even can go there to practice or just hang out lol. Go here, youll learn and youll have a blast!!!
