🇺🇸 🗽 🇺🇲 Happy July 4th 2020 🇺🇲 🗽 🇺🇲The Chen Dance Center located at 70 Mulberry Street in the heart of Chinatown. NYC is a Senior Citizens Center catered to the locals in the neighborhood.They also had after school programs for the youths in the neighborhood.The Chen Dance Center is located across the street from Columbus Park, and down the street from Confucius Plaza on Bowery.The Center at the moment is going through renovations dur to a fire overnight a few months ago.Opening date to be announced.

I never new about the Chen Dance Center until I attended the Teahouse performance, a new choreographic work by H.T. Chen, the founder of this amazing center which since 1978 is the largest Asian-American performing arts institution, there are award-winning educational programs for children, via the School, which commissions, showcases & produces opportunities for youth to channel their creativity thru the medium of Dance, while illuminating the richness of Chinese Culture & History, which results in an unforgettable performative matrix.
