Trying to get back into physical activity after a solid year of no dancing has been difficult. Im not a zoom or tic tok dancer and have been missing good old fashion classes. Before you can take class you have to sign a waiver, questionnaire and temperature checked. There is sanitizer, air circulation, and placemats on the floor to coply with our new normal. Everyone is required to wear mask. The class is broken up into two parts shines and partnerwork. The vibe is super relaxed and encouraging. Youll get a good workout and share a laugh. Just do it!

Been doing classes for two months now, and theyre outstanding. Instructor Jose is a Salsa king and commands a vibe that is very positive but also spot-on serious. He knows how to explain the subtleties that separate great dancers from average ones. Ive done great dancing classes before, but Lorenz is awesome.

I have taken classes in 2 other major studios in the city with Joel and Joe. Those were also excellent classes with great instructors, no questions ask. What sets Lorenz apart is the number of highly talented instructors during the classes helping you through the shines or partner works. On several occasions I have seen these instructors pull folks from the group and taken them to the side to work with them one on one for no additional cost until they are ready to rejoin group. This I have not seen in other studios. Salsa is very involved and you will need as much dedicated attention as possible.With Lorenz you get high quality over quantity. I take 2 hours classes ones a week and I feel that is enough to achieve my goals. Very affordable and highly recommended.

Came here on a whim for their Friday night Salsa Social and had such a great time! Unlike so many places, there are so many really friendly dancers whom are not only willing but excited to dance with newcomers, beginners, anyone! Such a refreshing place to be and have a great time on a Friday night in a very welcoming atmosphere. Smiles all around - will definitely be back!

Great place to learn how to dance. The studio was recomended by a friend and fellow veteran. The staff is super friendly and not only great dancers but excellent teachers. They have a great method of teaching and even uncoordinated two left-footed individuals like my-self can learn salsa. They have great prices and new classes starting every month. Great place, great teachers, great atmosphere.

Hidden gem in Spanish Harlem, this place is perfect for beginners thru advanced dancers. The staff is extremely helpful and patient in making sure all students are on the same page. Each and every Friday night they have a dance social, which is the perfect place to practice moves in a fun environment. Highly recommend for people looking to try some new and adventurous.

This place is so much fun. When they dont have us dancing, they have us laughing. Love how they have so many instructors present in the beginner class, regardless of your level of coordination they make it easy to keep up with the pace of the rest of the class.

The instructors are great. The atmosphere is relaxed and very conducive for learning. The price is right. Every thing you could want in a great salsa studio!
