Over the years I’ve checked out different dojos, and I particularly like NYCA. Enjoyable practice - and the instructors are very good. At this point - it’s smaller and more intimate - and each person gets more attention than you might in a bigger place. Plenty here for you - whatever level you’re at.

The founders of this dojo are very experienced practitioners of martial arts and movement arts, and they continue to explore, study, and research, sharing their new ideas and insights with the fellow students of aikido. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and dojo members are sincere and supportive. Close attention is given to each students current physical challenges and limitations. The practice is safe, while offering the students opportunities to expand their range of possibilities.
