My 6 year old daughter has been a student here for almost 10 months now & my only regret is that we didn’t start her sooner! She has amazing instructors who really care about her & want to see her succeed. She’s learning about not only how to defend herself, but she’s learning about discipline & respect as well. She’s made some great friends & enjoys coming to class!

My son has been at Elite for 10 months. He has great leaders, role models, friends and family within Elite. He is engaged, growing and he had such a positive mindset. He understand the value of his actions and attitude. The life skills Elite leadership instills in our kids goes beyond the Martial Arts skills taught and the mat. It is encouraging our kids to be kind, respectful and develop a hard work ethic. It really does take a village to raise tiny humans and I’m happy to say Elite is now apart of my village.

Not sure who to contact at this point I have emailed multiple times at least two and I have called multiple times even leaving voicemails my son is still owed one more class and he was even told by his professor or by his instructor that he would be seen the next class and so my youngest and I would get all excited to watch brother on his very last class yet I have not received any information as to when that would be for his last and final class so communication I would think would need to improve however with the instructors themselves I think they do an adequate job

My son has been going to Elite for several months and has loved it since day one. The instructors and staff are very welcoming and quick to learn your name. There is no pressure to make commitments you arent ready for. Along with teaching taekwondo and self-defense, they work on life skills such as discipline, respect, focus, leadership, building self-esteem and confidence, communication skills and listening, and more. We have seen Ethan improve in several of these areas since starting at Elite. Throughout the year they also have several activities outside of the classes where students and their families have the opportunity to meet and hang out with other Elite families. We are very happy to have found Elite and appreciate all they have done for our son.

My boys love Elite! They have been on their paths to black belt for over a year now. My daughter is about to start in the Tiny Tiger program, she is so excited! The staff and instructors are so friendly, and our kids love them all! We are blessed that we found Elite!

We started Elite martial arts over the 19 summer and since than my daughter loves and always excited to go the class. Teachers are excellent and know their craft. Mr. Ritch is really talented instructor and helps kids. Everyone is encouraged to mentor lower belts. If you want your child to be confident and build self esteem I would highly recommend this place.

A wonderful school! The teachers are very attentive and manage to pay special attention to each child even when its not their regular class time. They call every student by name and always make learning fun. My boys are learning discipline and self defense, as well as making friends. The lessons come home with them too, even my youngest talks about how we can use honesty and respect in life everyday. Im very glad we chose Elite for our taekwondo home.

Elite Martial Arts is some of the best money we’ve ever spent on a recreational activity for our kids. When we initially signed up I never thought we would stay past the 6-week trial period but once we saw that they teach so much more than martial arts and fitness we were hooked! The instructors, staff and owners are amazing with the kids. They teach them martial arts in a very encouraging, fun way but they also teach them the importance of respect for themselves and others, working hard to achieve your goals, the importance of standing behind your teammates, and so much more. The owners have hired the best staff and instructors in town! They are all outstanding with kids and run the place like a well-oiled machine. My son has been attending classes at Elite for over a year. The positive atmosphere has helped build his confidence and excitement every class. Our son has been attending Elite for about 8 months and he loves it. The instructors are extremely encouraging, positive, and patient. My son started with Elite Martial Arts back in September. I never imagined that he would love it as much as he does. I’ve seen improvement in his grades and his attitude at home! My son Isaac loves to go to elite martial arts. He has grown so much. His self confidence has increased and continues to progress. The instructors are excellent with the kids. They instruct the students in a child friendly atmosphere. The lessons they learn each month, on different topics are to help the students be successful in everyday activities and interactions with others. A couple of these are honesty, discipline, and respect. We have had a great experience for us.

My son and I both train at Elite Martial Arts and we absolutely love it! Elite is very family-oriented and there are many families who train together, from little ones to grandparents! Great instructors; friendly and knowledgeable staff; my child has been going here for a while now and absolutely loves it. One of their instructors Mr. Rich, has really helped her improve her behavior and attitude on life. They also know how to have a fun time. They are always doing things for the community and hosting family events.

We initially started our 11 year old son at Elite to help with focus, confidence, and also to learn self-defense. Elite has been a wonderful experience for him, and we have seen drastic improvements in all three areas, as well as an improved attitude towards school, getting his homework done, keeping his room clean and helping with household chores. When he visits a friends house, I get texts about how polite and respectful he is! Three months in, and our whole family has joined! This is a wonderful, positively motivating environment for everyone, whether youre a kid or an adult. Every single instructor and staff member is great at what they do, and are very helpful and encouraging, its awesome to be a part of the Elite family! The classes are very instructive and well organized, but still a lot of fun for both the kids and adults. They are always willing to answer questions, or help on technique. When you are new to a class, there are always plenty of staff available to help you through the first few classes, giving you plenty of personalized help. Elite has been a very positive addition to our life, and as soon as you walk in the door you can feel that this is a place where people love what they do.

We love elite martial arts! Our son has been going for well over a year and we literally could not be happier with the staff and our sons progress! Our oldest son started in March 2013 and myself, husband and other son started in August 2015. My 7 year old son has been coming here for almost 3 years, my 5 year old son has been coming 7 months, & I have been taking classes 3 months now. The owners and their staff are great with the students. The instructors provide gentle yet firm discipline. They teach in a way that is very fun for the kids. This studio is very family oriented and have given their students a 2nd family, the Elite Family. My sons have improved in areas across the board ranging from respect, confidence, perseverance, and motor skills.

The staff and instructors at Elite could not be more friendly. They are fantastic with children, making it fun while also providing top-notch instruction in martial arts. Our son has been attending Elite since October last year. My wife and i were looking for a martial arts place and came across Elite on line. And the minute we sat down for our first meeting with the owner we knew. This was going to be our martial arts home. The owners are two of the most caring people my wife and I have the pleasure of knowing. The staff and instructors go out there way to get to know you and your whole family. The minute you walk in to the building there is always a Elite member there with a smile on there face to see how your day has been. I am so happy to say our other son has joined his big brother in class. And at the end of this year our daughter will be joining her two big brothers at the school as well. One star is one too many! Terrible experience, after signing up for a promotion, that was emailed to me in several occasions. After taking payment, I was told when contacting Elite martial arts, that my kids were unable to part take! All though the other two families who signed up at the same time, using the same promotion, were accepted, even though all had previously attended classes together. It leave a very bad taste in ones mouth and make you wonder if its only an elite few that are able to attend Elite martial arts!

My 3 children have been at Elite Martial arts for a year now. All three love it. They have classes tailored to every age and skill level so each student feels comfortable at all levels and ages. The instructors are all knowledgeable and caring.

I’m a 2nd Degree Black Belt and have been at Elite Marshal Arts for three years; it is a great place for both kids and adults to train. The instructors are good at teaching to each person’s skill level, always helping everyone to do their best. When I moved here, I had already been in Martial Arts for a few years. So, I went to about a dozen schools to watch class. Seeing how the instructors taught and the overall level of the students; Elite had the best of both. The culture is a mix of fun, hard work and respect.

My kids have been taking TKD at Elite for years and love it! I finally took the plunge and joined them. Its tough to do something new as an adult, but the instructors at Elite have made it easy. The school has such a great family atmosphere. I have felt welcomed and encouraged not just by the staff, but by other students as well. Elite is a great place to train!

My Son went to Elite @ the Olathe branch for almost 8 months. He is slightly on Autistic spectrum but because of the excellent staff who is very friendly and accommodating made him more malleable to the structure. This is the first activity he participated apart from his school routine. We are really thankful to the whole staff and especially his coach for all the encouragement he inculcates and we have already signed up for his black belt club now .

Elite has been such an unexpected blessing to our family. We were introduced to Elite at a mother/son event at our school and I was impressed with how great they were with the boys. We decided to try the 6 week trial, not having any previous experience with martial arts. Both my boys, ages 6 and 10 have grown so much in completely different ways during the year we’ve been at the school and I have so appreciated their individual approach to both of my children. The instructors are so inspiring for the kids - ranging from the Junior Leaders who assist in running the classes (which my oldest has expressed interest in doing when he’s older) to high degree black belts and World Champions. Mr. and Mrs. Bedford have cultivated such a familial atmosphere in the school where we, as a family, feel cared for. My kids are consistently challenged to grow, set goals and become the most confidant, respectful, hard-working versions of themselves and I could not be more thrilled with who they’re becoming. I cannot recommend Elite Martial Arts enough - we’re having a wonderful experience.

AMAZING! I couldnt be happier with the Martial Arts gym that we have chosen for our son. The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Bedford, are excellent role models to all of their families. The students work hard and learn many important life lessons. Watching my son grow both personally and as a Martial Artist in the last 18 months has exceeded my expectations. It is exactly the training he needed to help him through adolescents. He feels loved and accepted by everyone at Elite Martial Arts.

My son was really struggling with finding something where the reinforcement was always so positive that he wanted to participate every time and never got discouraged. He has been able to take lessons from class and apply them to other activities and school. The instructor even takes time in class to address the parents and let them know what they can expect in their childs development and how we can help them progress.

I can not recommend Elite Martial Arts enough! We encourage our children to participate in at least one activity outside of school and between 3 kids we’ve tried about every sport/music/dance activity there is. I can say Elite is my favorite. There is much more to it than just learning the physical acts of martial arts. The discipline, confidence, and self respect they teach the students is invaluable. My son loves Mr. Ritch, he makes it so fun for the kids while teaching them many important skills. We like that it is all inclusive and so we aren’t getting nickel and dimed every testing. My son wanted to try martial arts because it’s cool and what little boy doesn’t want to do some ninja moves. We also thought it would help him with his balance and coordination, which it has. We tried several different schools and found this school to be a perfect fit! The instructors dont just teach the kids self defense, but also teach life lessons that make sense for their age. Mr. and Mrs. Bedford make you feel like family and we love it there!

This is my sons second time to try martial arts. He has absolutely loved it here from day 1! The staff and teachers are super friendly. He is always super excited to go, would highly recommend.

What started out to be an after school activity for my girls, 2 years ago, has become a family activity. I started Elite Martial Arts not knowing what to expect. Before I began, I did not want to participate. But they changed my mind in an instant. The instructors are so welcoming and they push you to the best you can be. They instill great morals such as self-control, respect, and honesty. The Elite Martial Arts team has become our second family. My wife and two kids have been going here for 4 years and has been an amazing learning and training experience. We started my son with their 6 week trial and we have not looked back. The instructors are amazing. They make sure the kids are learning discipline and respect (just like a Black Belt would have), but they make it fun too. We highly recommend Elite for the youngest to the oldest who are interested in learning Martial Arts.

Our 12 year old son has tried many different activities and sports. He never found anything that resonated, that he was passionate about. That is until he started taking classes at Elite Martial Arts over a year ago. This is in large part due to the owners and the instructors at the school. Cant say enough about how much we love it here! We joined with a trial membership and my son fell in love with Taekwondo and all the instructors and we decided right away this was the place to be. Everyone is so nice and encouraging and we have seen such an improvement in our sons confidence and attitude.

My son has been taking classes at Elite for a little over a year now, and I cannot say enough good things about our experience there. My son is a bit shy, anxious, and nervous about trying new things; Mr. and Mrs. Bedford, along with their amazing staff, have been incredibly patient, warm, and welcoming, and have worked with us every step along the way to ensure my sons success. We moved to Kansas from out of state knowing nothing of the area, and my husband and I wanted our boys in martial arts to make friends and to learn good discipline, respect for people and themselves, and what hard work will bring to them. I researched online and found elite and immediately everyone has been amazing and my kids have learned so much and they really instill what they believe and they help out with things to make sure your kids stay on the right track. What I like best about Elite Martial Arts located in Olathe is that the instructors and staff take the time to get to know the students and to include them in the daily lessons. The instructors go out of their way to help individuals to not give up. It amazes me how dedicated they are in the success of an individual. I wish we would have found Elite sooner.

I was part of a casual Taekwondo club in college and after graduation, I decided to pursue a black belt. There are quite a few studios around KC to choose from but this had everything I was looking for. Later classes so Im not rushed from work, friendly instructors that dont yell or demean you for a mistake, and a clear plan for leading you towards a 1st degree black belt. It can be pretty expensive but if youre finding cheap martial arts lessons, Id question the credentials of the instructor a bit. Id recommend Elite to anyone that asked.

The owner and his team of instructors are extremely knowledgeable, dedicated and focused on providing a quality martial arts learning environment. My son has gained life skills and learned lessons that will last a lifetime. I would highly recommend this school!

FamilyThat is how we feel every time we take our daughters to their classes .After more then 2 years we can for sure say it has been a very important after school activities for our girls , we love all the positive changes our girls have gone true the have improved tremendously in their confidence , their character and grades at school .Over all the entire staff at Elite Martial arts are very dedicated respectful and hands on with the entire group they instruct we thank them very much for all they have done for our family.

My Two kids are having fun at Elite Martial arts and its a very friendly atmosphere, teachers are very cool and very encouraging by applauding and giving them stars. They teach discipline, respect and making sure how kids are doing and their progress.

My son started back in January and since then he has gained confidence and respect that has transferred over to his baseball team. He has learned how to be a role model and set examples for other kids in his other activities. He enjoys coming to class and I enjoy watching him.
