We reached out to Alex at Simply Ballroom to help us with our first dance. We ended up taking a private 4-week session and a group 4-week session and absolutely loved our experience! Alex is very professional and made us feel so comfortable throughout the lessons. He alleviated all the nerves around the first dance by helping us plan how to enter/exit the dance floor, where to pause for photography, transitions to the next parent dances and helped us practice a whole dance routine for our select song. We highly recommend Alex and the experience at Simply Ballroom to all couples planning for their first dance!

If you are reading these reviews debating whether or not you want to take dance lessons. The answer is yes. And you want to take them with Alex at Simply Ballroom.My fiancé (now husband) and I did the same. We googled it. And I am so grateful to have found Alex as he worked with us for our first dance.He was very good at giving us the one on one direction we need during the group class. Then from there we booked private lessons so he could help us choreograph something simple for our first dance.I cannot tell you how happy I am we did this. Rather than being the awkward few minutes while we sway back and forth, we were prepared with a dance that made us feel like we had our life together. Ha ha. It was such a hit! He was perfect with working with us on a different approach as we wanted to dance to an imagine dragons song. He was up for the challenge.I enjoyed class enough that I brought my daughter in for salsa lessons. And after just two classes we were also able to dance at the reception.Not to mention - he taught my husband how to dip a woman and I tell ya what, that’s a life skill that is paying off. Every dip photo we take is now gorgeous ha ha.Highly recommend. Best money we spent for our wedding day.

I cant say enough about Simply Ballroom. Both Alex and Rachelle are amazing. I had so many questions and Rachelle was so patient with me. She always returned my emails and calls and met with me several times. Alex even helped fix my toasting glasses and a picture frame the day of the wedding so I didnt even have to worry myself with it. And those are just two things I know about. He probably did more! We also took the first dance class with Alex. Well worth the money and added the perfect touch. The crowd cheered when we danced and Alex was so proud when we did our fancy spin. The wedding was so beautiful and I owe a lot of it to Alex and Rachelle.

I went to a wedding reception here last night. It was a terrible venue. There were 2 rooms with tables where guests sat. So one room was not able to see the bridal party entrance. They had one bar and one bartender. Just before the bridal party entrance I had waited in line for about 30 minutes to get a drink to only have them close the bar and make everyone take their seats when I was 3 people away. The line for drinks was always long. So frustrating.

My husband and I took lessons from Alex for our wedding. He is so talented and a great teacher. We had a blast!

Alex was awesome! We contacted him a little last minute to help my father and I get ready to do our dance at my wedding in July. He was really flexible with scheduling and pricing, and was very kind and patient with my dad (who isnt big on dancing). We had a lot of fun, and would recommend them to anybody! Alex was very professional and definitely knew what he was talking about, but wasnt snobby about it. 10/10, five stars, all the good things.

We were scheduled to have our daughters wedding reception at Simply Ballroom. However, due to the pandemic we didnt feel it was socially responsible to hold a large reception. We were told that receptions were carrying on as originally planned. However, we know that is not the case. Brides didnt chose to have reduced attendance and have everyone wear masks when they planned their dream wedding. Simply Ballroom basically argued with us that things were still carrying on as normal so we were told we could reschedule but at an additional fee. We ended up having to pay the entire $2500 fee even though we didnt use the facility. Luckily we found a different place to hold a small dinner for the wedding party and parents. The other place we went with was very helpful and accommodating. I would NOT recommend booking your event with Simply Ballroom.

My wife and I really enjoyed our dancing lessons with Alex! He is a very good dancer, extremely patient and just an awesome instructor. For someone with both left feet, Alex taught me how to dance and our first dance at the wedding was a blast! Highly recommend.

Rachelle and her Husband over at Simply Ballroom made everything seamless and easy. Not only is it a beautiful venue, but the amount of work they put in and all the things the offer including add ons is nothing short of amazing!! Not to mention when my 1yr old daughter wouldn’t walk down the isle, and my song had already started I was able to hand her right off to Rachelle and move on knowing she was in good hands, they were able to occupy her u til the ceremony was complete. ❤️ If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! Definitely recommending to any and all!

The Owners, cost, layout and amenities make this a spectacular place for events. I have been here for multiple weddings and birthdays. First big thing here is the partitioned rooms especially for the weddings. i.e. 1 room for wedding ceremony, 2nd for dinner with in house table dressings with 1st being changed out for dancing and food service in between. Having a side room for serving adult beverages, drinks and snacks.Second big thing is the ability to pick your own caterers is welcomed for those needing/wanting a place that will accommodate that. Many other places force high cost in house food and drink on top of location rental which imo is huge when picking a place for your event.The owners are not only dance instructors during the day but AMAZING event hosts and very personable. They are hands on during the events from moving tables, keeping the flow going and helping anyway they can. This shows their dedication, pride and work ethic by everything they do.

Simply Ballroom is an incredible place to have your wedding! It is a great price for everything that is included! Rachelle and Alex are the owners of the venue and they are AMAZING people. They know exactly what they are doing, and are very organized! My wedding is during the pandemic and they did such a fabulous job making sure that everything was safe and communicating out to their customers about any updates! They made my wedding day run so smoothly, and I honestly didnt have to worry about a thing! I am so glad that we went with Simply Ballroom. It was an amazing experience!

I have always wanted to dance. My son and I prepared for our mother/son dance at his wedding at Simply Ballroom. It was a wonderful experience and so much fun. Alex was professional, fun and willing to listen to whatever questions or comments we had. He indulged our ideas and was sensitive to our needs. The private dance lessons were reasonably priced and he was willing to accommodate our schedules. I would highly recommend Simply Ballroom as an opportunity to have an amazing time.

Simply Ballroom was such an amazing venue for our wedding. Rachelle was so nice and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. She made sure we knew what needed to get done and by when, and really helped us keep our planning on track. The venue itself is great. The setup was perfect to have both our ceremony and reception there. It was such a beautiful venue that you really dont need a ton of decorations, but if you do want to have more decorations they make it really easy. There are some great decoration upgrades, and you can bring in your own decorations as well. It was also great that we were able to choose whoever we wanted for catering and bring in our own alcohol. It was such a great experience working with Simply Ballroom, we will be recommending this venue to everyone we know. The only downside was the lack of parking, which made things a little tricky, but that is just due to the location.

Highly recommend - Fun experience for couples or individuals!My fiancé bought us a group of 10 dance lessons through Groupon as a birthday gift to me last year. We were both excited by the idea to try something new and out of our norm. Personally, I was nervous because I have never, ever, danced or taken a dance lesson before in my life.When we arrived for the first class, we were welcomed by a warm group of couples, who we quickly learned were regulars (and fantastic dancers!) and Alex, the dance instructor. Upon our arrival, Alex was exceedingly kind and welcoming, assuring us that regardless of our lack of dance experience, we would fit right in and never get left behind.The beginner classes were perfect for us. The classes my fiancé and I attended specifically focused on the Waltz. Each week, Alex would revisit what was taught the week prior and then add on something new for us to work on that night. As an instructor, Alex is very patient, encouraging, and hands-on. Not only that, but his wealth of dance knowledge is so impressive – you know you are learning from the best!While we took the class as a couple, there were several times where people showed up individually and were included in the same manner. There was always a partner to be found and no one was ever left out. It’s truly a tight knit yet open and welcoming community where people come to learn, laugh, and have a fun escape from the routine of day-to-day life.We can’t recommend Alex and Simply Ballroom enough!

This was the perfect place to have our wedding. We were young and didn’t have a ginormous budget. Rachelle and Alex worked with us. It is so inclusive, yet still gives you freedom of choice for vendors. Rachelle is a built in wedding planner, and Alex even designed the print outs from our photo booth to match our theme. My mom cried when we came in on the day of the wedding because before we even put our own decorations up, it was already so elegant and beautiful. Everything is set up and cleaned up and takes away so much stress, and puts us at ease. And they have specials and promotions that help you afford the upgrades you want. They work with you on everything. While they let you select your own vendors, they still have suggestions in practically every price range. There was no judgment on what we could and couldn’t afford. They truly work hard to make your wedding what you want it to be. I’m forever grateful to them and this venue!

Alex was truly a phenomenal dance instructor! He helped us to go from not dancing at all to looking professional and having fun during our First Song at our wedding. Everyone at our reception was so impressed with our spins and dips that Alex helped us learn and get as close to perfect as we could. We had so much fun dancing and with learning from Alex that both my husband and I would definitely go back to take lessons from him just for fun!

We really, really enjoyed and loved the classes we took at Simply Ballroom, and had a lot of fun. The instructors were helpful, and even though we took group classes, they took the time to answer all our questions and personally help and instruct us when needed. It felt personable and the environment is friendly and relaxed, while you definitely dont feel ignored either.They offer classes a few different days and times, and build on previous classes to become more advanced at a specific dance. Their website tells what classes theyre currently teaching or will teach in the future.I definitely recommend Simply Ballroom to anyone wanting to learn more about specific dances, or dancing in general - its made us more confident in incorporating what weve learned into dancing at weddings, etc.

They made everything so simple for us... the owners are amazing Rachelle was available anytime I needed her and answered all of my crazy questions! At the risk of repeating EVERYTHING thats already been said in previous reviews I will just say Rachelle and Alex were amazing. After looking into other venues, Simply Ballroom was the obvious choice. From planning to the final event, Rachelle was helpful, but not pushy. She was patient, understanding and extremely easy to work with. The day of the wedding, everything was exactly what my daughter and son in law had requested. When the reception started getting busy, I looked around and there was Rachelle and Alex helping and reassuring us everything was under control. Thank you both for everything you did to make this wedding truly a memorable event.

JUST TO CLARIFY: The venue rental rates stated on the website arent the true rental rates. The $500 deposit/down payment doesnt actually get applied to the stated rental rates. After you pay the $500 deposit (which they treat as an additional fee, as stated on the website), you will still have to pay the full rental rate stated on the website.This confused us, because were used to deposits/down payments working different than this. Nonetheless, the owner is a great person and their facility is very nice, which is why I still gave them 4 Stars! The owner made the situation right by us and we appreciated that.The only purpose of this review is just to let any prospective customers be aware of how the pricing works, so that you arent surprised/confused when you get there. Five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️They truly made my daughter’s dream wedding come true. She wanted an intimate affair with family and friends. Rachelle helped to make this happen and facility was top notch. (Don’t let the lobby scare you, ballrooms are beautiful!!) Decoration, linens, lighting, setup, and cleanup all included! We used our caterer, Dj, brought our own alcohol and she recommended an excellent bartenderAt the end of night only took home food, our extra decorations and beverages. They helped use get out the door in 1/2 hour!!!Even had a few rowdy guest and they handle it very professional. I am grateful for my whole experience with Simply Ballroom. Well Done!

My dream wedding was held here at Simply Ballroom in April. My husband and I was on a budget but still wanted pur dream wedding and Simply Ballroom made that happen. Rachelle and Alex is amazing. I would highly recommend to anyone to come here!!

We took private dance lessons for our first dance at our wedding. Alex was our instructor and he was GREAT! Alex as an instructor has a good understanding of how to not only teach dance, but to relate to his clients. He was patient, knowledgeable, and experienced with dancing and teaching. My husband and myself both looked forward to our lessons each week and learned so much within the 6 lessons with Alex. Simply Ballroom was a very comfortable setting. Our First Dance was our most memorable event of the night. I would highly recommend Simply Ballroom to anyone looking to take dance lessons!

I booked my wedding with Simply Ballroom. I had both my ceremony and my reception held at their place and I was beyond satisfied with the service I received. Rachelle and her husband were more than accommodating. They helped tremendously on the day of.. all the behind the scenes clean up, tear down, pick up- everything was perfect. Rachelle is extremely friendly and professional and you can tell that she truly cares about your day. Alex used to be my dance instructor and he was amazing at being patient and teaching at the same time! Its been some years but if he still works there I definitely would want Alex as my instructor.. Best instructor 😊😊😊. Im thinking about doing ballroom dancing again.

I got Simply Ballroom private dance lessons for my wife on Valentines Day this year. We spent several nights since then with Alex learning the Waltz. Alex was amazing and was able to get us moving all around the dance floor. We also went to some group lessons with Alex and was introduced to some other dances. Alex was a great teacher, the facility was very classy and the whole experience was incredible. If you are interested in learning to dance or just want to get better, this is the place to go.

My husband and I wanted to do dance lessons before our wedding night for our first dance. We got in touch with Simply Ballroom and our instructor, Alex. He was very willing to work around our busy schedules to find time to get in our lessons before our big day. He was extremely knowledgeable and was able to help us create a memorable first dance for our wedding night. My husband and I wanted to learn the basics of dancing before we danced at our Wedding. Before that, neither of us could really slow dance, just did the slow shuffle of feet. Alex was nice and patient with us, teaching us the basics and even taking the time to let us dance to our wedding song, just so we could prepare. It was nice to have the basics when dancing our first dance.

Alex was our instructor and he taught us a father daughter swing dance for my wedding! He also helped us integrate a personal touch of usher. The entire experience was great it was a fun activity to do as father and daughter and the dancing he taught us far exceeded our expectations. Alex was lighthearted, witty, a great dancer, and had tons of scheduling flexibility. We loved our experience there and would recommend it to anyone.

I just had my wedding June 22, 2019. Rachelle helped me so much on Saturday and putting up with my nervous, anxious self - I had an amazing night and I think my guests did too (idk I was too busy dancing my tail off hahaha). I truly appreciated this venue, their recommended bartender Jordan, and Rachelles husband so much! They all worked together to create a beautiful space and atmosphere suited to my day! My now wife and myself utilized their classes to get ready for our first dance. They left us both with a lot more confidence and more comfortable when the time came. During the stress of the preparations of the wedding planning, this became a great way to unwind and enjoy time with each other. Alex was our teacher and he was great and we are considering continuing our lessons as date nights.
