This by far is the best daycare! My daughter was in the infant room all the way to Butterflies before we moved away. The teachers and front staff were beyond nice and actually cared about my daughter’s well being. Each classroom had an amazing mix of fun and structure. The security is better than any other school because there are cameras in each room that can be accessed by parents. Most other places don’t allow that. There are multiple checkpoints to put in codes and a finger scanner so that no one can get in who doesn’t belong there. The classrooms are spacious and clean and the food that is served is healthy and delicious! They also take multiple pictures of your child throughout the day, as well as, log their meal times and diaper changes/potty. We were devastated when we had to move because this school is amazing!!

My children have been attending for two years. Jennifer the Director and the entire staff are amazing. They all go above and beyond for my children. There were times when my kids needed a bit more love and care and the staff are best in class. I feel so blessed and thankful to know my children are loved and cared for each day when I am at work. Knowing they are in the very best hands is the most amazing feeling. I would not have my children attend any other school.

I removed my child from this daycare due to multiple unexplained injuries and reported them to the Department of Children and Families (DCF). While my husband and I expressed several concerns to the administrative staff, (e.g. a teacher with poor interpersonal skills who could not speak English proficiently enough to discuss matters related to our child, urine left on the seat of a shared toilet that was not cleaned after each use, and extra clothing items that were repeatedly lost and or tossed in the trash) this was the last straw.We were told by staff on more than one occasion that their own children attended the daycare. This information was completely useless to us as it provided no reassurance.It is not surprising to see a former employees review echoing some of our other concerns.

We absolutely love Ladybird at Lake Underhill! The cameras gave us peace of mind when we first enrolled our son, but now we know the staff so well and trust them so completely we rarely even watch the cameras. Our son is excited to go in the morning and he always has a good time with his friends and teachers. They offer so much stimulation and varying activities that help him learn in different ways - we could not be happier with this daycare - we highly recommend it!

Without any hesitation, I would highly recommend Ladybird Academy-Lake Underhill to care for your child.Both my children attended this school, my oldest from newborn to VPK graduation and only recently we withdrew my youngest because we moved. Throughout those years attending this school, the staff became family. Without any doubt in my mind, i always knew my children were safe and well cared for. If ever there were any behavioural issues in class with other students, there was open communication and the staff would resolve it immediately.Choosing a place to care for your child will be one of the most difficult choices but when you find the right place, life is much easier. Ladybird Academy has been the right place for our family and I hope it becomes for yours too.

My husband and I recently visited the Ladybird Academy on Lake Underhill. We are currently expecting our first baby and have been told to start looking for care early. We were warmly greeted in the lobby by the director; Jennifer Matthews. The facility was clean and everyone appeared to be very friendly. The teachers in the infant room were nice.While the class sizes seemed large; the children were happy. We really like the web cams and the option for parents night out once a month.

My daughter attended this school since she was 2 years old. I was completely pleased for years until an employees son began bullying her. What was most disappointing was reports of the bullying appeared to fall on death ears. The ultimate act that led to me immediately removing her from the school was that this child exposed his private part to my child. Regardless of whether or not a childs mom works at the school or not, no child should ever be permitted to behave this way. My child misses the awesome staff who was part of her learning and growth all these years and her other friends who she grew up with - sad that it came down to this, I posted this reluctantly, but others should be advised.

Yeah, sounds like they were really struggling with his behavior. It affected my child too. Its a shame because you dont want to give up working with a kid, but ultimately they pulled him out.Other than that, our experience has been good.

Horrendous environment to work in. Not a surprise considering the pay. Director has a huge superiority complex and rarely gets involved in monitoring HER business. Teachers are unequipped to handle children. Yes, all of them. Parents were a pain to deal with because they played favorites with teachers who would put on a facade with them. I work in behavior analysis now with much better pay and believe me, this place is merely an expensive babysitting service for parents that care more about their customer service rather than the well-being and academic growth of their children. Good riddance.

After visiting many day care facilities in the area, we decided on this particular Ladybird location. From the director to the front desk to all the teachers me and my wife have been 100% satisfied, so satisfied that we put our newborn son with them as well.

I am surprised to see the negative reviews on this site, although I dont know who Ms. Verna is or whether the same people worked at the facility three years ago are there now. I googled the facility merely to pull up the phone number to give them a quick call and the reviews popped up.Before selecting Ladybird Lake Underhill, I pulled all of their available FDCF inspection reports and Gold Seal Certification information, as well as the reports concerning other facilities in the area. Ladybird Lake Underhill met or exceeded the FDCF requirements.Before choosing it, I, along with my husband and family members, came in approximately 4 times, unannounced and toured the facility, as well as others in the area.We use the WatchMeGrow system to check in on our child throughout the day. (Grandma watches even more than we do!)Ms. Mathews and the staff are caring professionals. The staff has remained largely consistent during our six (6) months there. Communication (via the daily reports, newsletter, text messages, emails, phone calls, signs on throughout the facility) is clear.Our child loves her friends and teachers. She looks forward to going to school, particularly on water day. She is thriving. The social interaction with peers of a similar age and the structured schedule (with wiggle room for the little ones) are invaluable.As a working mom, knowing she is in safe hands when I cant be with her means the world to me.

I’m so happy I followed my intuition.My 1 yo and 3 yo daughter attend LadyBird Academy LakeUnderhill location and we L O V E it here. Truly from the bottom of my heart I am so thankful for you all hospitality. I was nervous about us being newbies there but from the time of the tour up until everyday I come there with my kids we have been showed nothing but love from ALL the staff. Everyone and everything in the facility is so transparent. They have cameras and an app where they update you all day on your children. When I was scouting the place out I popped up at the daycare twice before my daughters were enrolled and each time, we were welcomed to view the facility by Ms. Liz. We were never turned away because there weren’t enough staff to show us around, no, always welcomed like I stated earlier. I’m so happy I didn’t go off all the old and negative reviews because no one here is like that at all. I promise. The kids aren’t just walking around hollering, it’s clean and everyone is friendly and went out of their way to remember my daughter’s name. It’s small and tight knit like a family. Its very diverse, to see the mixture of age groups from these ladies working here are inspiring. Thank you to Mrs. Noreka and the entire staff for everything you do for my family.
