I have stayed here a few times in the past week. Has been a wonderful varied breakfast and excellent staff. Location is right in the parking lot of icon park, so you dont need to drive! Management welcomed us with a fruit bowl to my kids delight. Thank you for another great stay

Good value. Friendly and customer service oriented staff. Limited parking but it’s free which is rare here. You can park in the plaza behind the hotel if you get in late and it’s filled. Most places charge for parking so this is not a bother to me. They handled a maintenance issue with the bathroom and gave me some points back to make up for it. We came, we slept, we left satisfied.

Service was great, staff was friendly and the price was very accommodating. I have no complaints whatsoever! Its about 5 minutes from Universal, which was perfect after a late night at Halloween Horror Nights.

Positive: Cleanliness--IMMACULATE! There are worn spots and scraped woodwork, but the room was completely clean. I dont fuss if theres a single hair in the tub (I know theyre tough!), but this didnt even have that. Negative: Beds were very comfy but sheets VERY thin. Needs shady benches on the grounds for people who want to be outside and NOT smoking. Not much negative, certainly.

Positive: The staff and the price. This hotel is in a very crowded area but they still give a pretty good price most of the time. They could use some more parking, but they make due with the space they have. I am very happy to not pay for parking. Thank you. Negative: No.

Decent enough for one night. Fluffy pillows, hot water, uncomfortable bed, confusing ap notifications regarding check in. Clean. Nice view of ferris wheel, redeemed 5th star upon breakfast. Some kinds egg Velveeta omelet goodness. Much better than the breakfast next door!

I like staying at Marriott hotels so i booked this location for our trip to universal.Pros- conveniently less than a mile away from the parks close to international drive for food and site seeing . The lobby was nice, big modern. Room beds were comfortable.Cons- parking was none existent they have a sign that says Valet so i walked in to get service..it was false. The person at the desk said “get creative” -__- I suggest arriving early securing parking and maybe uber.Room had a musty smell when we arrived. Ac was set to 73 so room was semi warm and most likely reason for smell. Beds had almost a humid feel at first. Bathroom shower was super outdated very small while standing showering the bath curtain sticks to you super uncomfortable. We had a very nice view of the top of a building and a back alley with trash. Oh and our room window looks as they let lotion stick to it for around a century.Needles to say i probably wont book this location again.

Arrived at 5pm for my 3pm check in only to be told that my room is not ready to check and still needs to be cleaned. I have never experienced anything like this before with a hotel and am very disappointed with this customer service.

Positive: It was clean and quiet and the beds were comfortable. The massaging shower head was great, and the water pressure was high and the water was hot. Negative: It smelled a little musty, but not very bad. It was only noticeable when we first checked in.

Positive: The only good thing about the hotel was the location and the free hot breakfast. Negative: The carpet next to the bathroom was soaked, the fridge didn¿t work, and the beds are not comfortable. We arrived at almost midnight and were only spending one night, so we didn¿t make a big deal about it. I would not return to this hotel.

Let me tell you one thing that travel agents do not want you to know about. When booking stays use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ They have the best deals on hotels! First, the positive. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and on point our entire stay. The lobby appeared new, well kept and clean. Unfortunately our room left a lot to be desired. As soon as we walked down the hall to our room the overwhelming odor of mold invaded all of our senses. Our room was not much better. The entire room felt damp even with the AC at full blast and just smelled incredibly awful. The fixtures had rust, scrapes or were outdated. The lighting was dark and gloomy and the shower was tiny with two soap dispensers that hit you when you tried to turn either way in the shower. The room did appear clean but with the bad lighting it was difficult to see anyway. There was a hole in the closet door behind the door to open the room from the doorknob banging into it. We travel extensively and stay at a lot of Marriott properties and this room was one of the most outdated and uncomfortable we had ever stayed in. Hopefully this property is renovated soon as the location is wonderful and the staff hardworking.

I have been a Marriott Owner & Bonvoy Member for over 20 years.When we arrived I just questioned the fact that there was a $12 per day parking charge. I was told it was the area. To me that is unacceptable, also where is the loyalty to Marriott members. Also while there there, an incident took place that we reported and nothing was done. This has been reported to Marriott Corporate I will not go into. I also had issues with billing explanation,still waiting to explain. Thats all I can say for now. Will not be returning.

Ive stayed at dozens of Marriott locations over the years. This hotel was very clean. It was also fairly close to Universal (a 5 or 10 minute drive) and was conveniently located near many restaurants. Now for the negatives. The mattress was not nearly as comfortable as any other Marriott property Ive stayed in. But the main complaint I have surrounding this location is the parking. Their listing says they have complimentary on-site parking. Which, they do. But what they dont tell you is the number of actual parking spots (as in designed to be parked in, with lines and such) doesnt come near matching the number of vehicles you could expect to be parked at this hotel if it is near any sort of capacity. If you happen to arrive at the hotel and the lot is full, youll find small yellow cones lined up along an alley next to the hotel. Youll also find that an empty lot next door (which is in reality a small field) is lined with those cones. Apparently anywhere there is one of those cones is where they expect you to park if the actual spots are all full. They dont tell you this up front but instead let you find out when it happens to you. The lot next door was unlit and littered with garbage. It did not feel like a secure location to park even though the front desk associate claimed it was monitored (which I doubt). The associate was not very empathetic or patient when we were trying to ask about the parking situation. In fact she seemed annoyed that we were even asking about it. To get into this lot theyve put a few sheets of wood down to get you over the curb but its falling apart and looks tacky. Overall not the experience or quality I expect from a Marriott property. Would only stay again if all other nearby Marriott locations were sold out.

Positive: Linens, hot shower with good pressure, drinks in lobby, friendly staff! I had surgery on leg and needed a rolling chair. They had it in my room on my return for recovery! Thank you all so much! Negative: Parking tight but worth the stay here. Can be overlooked because everything else great!

It was absolutely one of best hotels. Got on an discounted sight. Total room charge was less than $70 USD, and included hot breakfast buffet

Positive: Price, location, friendly staff, free parking is a must and a wonderful breakfast. Negative: Some of the older air conditioning units don¿t work as well as they should but I love that they drown out allot of noise.

This place is unreal. Super clean and comfirtable. They had a nice brekfast bar.

Check in was easy, staff were pleasant. We got a suite for us and two kids. Room itself was nice, however it was quite humid. There was a weird scent to the room, probably due to the humidity. A/C worked well. Breakfast was scaled back due to ongoing Covid restrictions, but it was good nonetheless.

Other than the fact that the hotel smelled super musty both in the hallways and in the room, this was a fantastic day. The only thing I would change is I would bring my own pillow next time.

Positive: Price, location, staff. Negative: They need more parking. Also I had problems with both bathrooms during my two nights stay. One shower head would not turn off. Other had a leak either from toilet or tub. The floor was wet when I checked in. It was too late at night to call it in.

Very good service. Front desk is very responsive and addressed all needs I had. Breakfast lacked a few items such as fruits and choice of cereals, but overall breakfast was good. I would recommend this hotel to others. It was very convenient to get to Universal Studios due to it closeness to the theme parks.

The price of this hotel did not lead me to expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised. Check in was a breeze, my room was fresh and clean, and nicely appointed. It had a desk and chair, and a pouffe. Lighting was good. I had a view of a the swing at Icon Park. Paul Mitchell hair products in the bathroom. Nice pressure in the shower, towels were clean and there were plenty. Front desk staff were all friendly and helpful, the various staff I saw from housekeeping always had a nice greeting. Everyone wore masks. Elevators were quick, breakfast was fine- not fancy, but the food service staff were all very pleasant. Lots of restaurants nearby. I stayed for 2 nights, and definitely plan on staying there again.

Positive: Fairly priced and well located, liked the overall room appearance, beds were great as well, we feel like we received a great value for what we paid. Negative: Cant complain at all, even the hot breakfast was good.

Customer service nice. BUT we changed 3 times rooms why 1st A/C too noisy 2nd. Leaking bathroom from ceiling, I thought that i was staying i Surf City, I got scared 3rd one. Water hose from bath not good water all over the floor, maintenance need to check and repair a lot of stuff but housekeeper needs to let them manager or owner know and front desk needs to get involved of that.

Mold Mold Mold Mold! Rooms have damp dirty carpet & a strong sickening odor. I Changed rooms twice same issue in each. lighting in room is dark and gloomy. Bed is itchy. Most uncomfortable stay ever. never again. Disappointed in marriot.

Positive: The staff was very friendly and professional! I like that they offered free breakfast which helps when traveling because paying for 3 meals a day can get very costly. Negative: The room smelled TERRIBLE!!!! The first room I walked in was bad then switched me to another and the same thing. There¿s no true ventilation so the odors just stay there. I had to get baking soda and vinegar to try to help. I wouldn¿t stay here agai

The checkin process on 6/21/2021 was not an issue. However, once in the room, there was a musty, moldy type of smell. As we try to overcome the smells by cleaning (which is NOT our jobs) we noticed the bedding was DISGUSTING. There were multiple stains. The worst was a large white crusty stain. The window curtains had mold type stains. We called the front desk to be constantly rushed and interrupted. They sent someone up to our room to give us the key to our new room. We asked if they can complete the walk through with use he abruptly and aggressively said NO and walked the opposite direction of where we were going.Based on cost, my expectations and previous experience as a long time Marriott Bonvoy Member, the accommodations and customer service were certainly not up to standards. This is truly unacceptable, and I will NEVER stay at that location again.

HORRIBLE SMELLI stayed at this property and it was horrible. As a Marriott Titanium Elite Member this hotel is very disappointing. I cant believe this is a Marriott property.This hotel smells really bad. The hotel smells so bad I couldnt eat nowhere on the property. I dont know if its the old carpet, mildew, old wood or all the above. This hotel needs a remodel extremely bad and ASAP. They have very old TVS with no streaming services like most updated Marriott propertys. The internet service went out on a Monday morning that was very inconvenient. I asked the front desk girl could she check the internet service and reset it. She said she was the only person at work and dont know how to fix the internet problem. This hotel cost over a hundred a night. That rate and the property definitely dont add up. This is more like a one star and rate should be 59.99.The only good thing about this hotel is location. I will NEVER stay here again. To whom it may concern reinvest and maintain your propertys. I honestly hope Marriott drops this property. This is definitely not a good representation of the brand.

Rooms were fine but poorly lit. We had to replace our room keys 4-5 times because our door key card reader was broken. Breakfast was not held in the hotel and the pool was not open. (Luckily we could go to breakfast at the adjoining hotel + use their pool). Checked in Sunday and have not seen a concierge since. Pizza place/coffee in the “shop” area were all closed. Starbucks in the other hotel was only open for select hours. Only perk was being near the parks. Don’t recommend.

Positive: Location was good, lobby and hallways looked fresh. Negative: No usb charging ports, beds were cheap no-tel motel type, room needed some PM work down. Shower curtain road pointed down instead of out, shower faucet kept readjusting itself to hot on its own. Pull the handle up, it slid back down.

The breakfast is very good, and the attendance supply the things that we need. The Gym has not air conditioning.

Had a large thunderstorm roll up on me and I didnt have a charger for my phone so I asked the manager and one of the employees let me borrow their charger while I charge my phone it was a great gesture and I was very thankful

I wanted to express my gratitude to this Fairfield inn location.The check in was quick,easy and hassle free so,that was very convenient for me after long hours of driving.They offer free breakfast which is a good deal with how much rate they offer. The room is huge and clean and has everything you need. The hotel is also close to all restaurants,theme parks and attractions.It’s a perfect hotel if you want to go on vacation in Orlando.Overall a great experience at Marriott. Would definitely book again here next time around

Great location with no parking fees or resort fees.Plenty of entertainment, etc... within walking distance.Rooms are a bit run downed and parking after a certain hour in the evening will be difficult.

The hotel is older but it seems really well taken care of and very clean. Its within walking distance to icon park and other shopping and restaurants. I only gave 4 stars though because when I booked online it verified the total price of the stay which I paid upon check in. I looked at my statement and it was $60 more than the price it gave me online. I called the front and asked about the extra charge and they said that there is a deposit you have to pay per night that is not on the website when you book. Ive stayed at a lot of hotels here, we come every 3 months and not all places charge a deposit and the ones that do usually inform you of it. No big deal, its refundable a few days after you check out I just like to know what Im paying for.

Rude the rooms where kinda dirty the little gift shop was so stupid the made everything way to expensive I think they did it just so they had something to fill the spot but didnt want it to do much more then that

Eh, it is what it is. Some lobby furniture was ripped and needs replacing. Our room was eh. Clean enough to stay but had an odor. We only stayed here cause we got in late from airport and we got it free with points. We were up and out early to head to our Universal property so it served it purpose of saving us $300. It is directly next to many restaurants, a Ferris wheel and a tall swing ride so that was convenient for dinner.

Upgrades needed. Been going here for years. Now is the time for refreshing. Wonderful prices typically but definitely willing to take a hike for better quality. Definitely not what it use to be.

This hotel is part of the Marriott hotel chain, so there is a sort of higher standard that is just expected.....well not here. The hallways and laundry room facilities are nice but the lobby has a couch in it that is all torn up and has deep scratches in it. The couch in the room is dirty and spotty. Dont even get me started in the pool here. I think the last time it was cleaned was 15 years ago, the hot tub at least. I mean there might even be something living in the hot tub at this point its so dirty. Not impressed and definitely had higher expectations from Marriott.

It was a good hotel. Pretty empty when I went and really quiet. Parking lot is small but never seemed full to me and the best part was that it was walking distance to the Icon park. Place does seem outdated but I would definitely recommend either way.

Im here right now. I pull in the parking lot its dark no lights or anything. I found a spot I almost got hit by a car because the person couldn’t see, now i got a bruise on my leg. I get inside the hotel its people everywhere in the lobby. Im asking the girl at the front desk what’s going on. She says the power is out. I asked her another question she got so aggressive with me. This was a terrible experience. Especially being its my first time staying at a fairfield inn.

The pool area needs some serious help but overall it was a great time.

Found multiple cockroaches in the room, beds weren’t made when we came back both days, overpriced food and you could tell it wasn’t cleaned before we got there.

With our vacation ownership points, we enjoy the Marriott chain. The beds and pillows are always so clean, crisp and comfortable. This one is close to many attractions. It purchased our previous ownership in The Sheraton Vistana Resort so that we could have more choices for places to stay.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating. They were doing a great job at making me feel they were doing their part to keep their guests safe. The room was clean and comfortable.

This hotel has exceptional customer service! 1) I cannot give enough praise to your front desk staff member, Hannibal. He greeted us with a smile, a hearty hello, extreme pleasant personality and excellent efficient customer service. Even when I called the front desk, he answered he phone with the same enthusiasm and eagerness to serve and meet my needs. He called me by name whenever I left and returned to the hotel, which speaks volumes to his excellent customer service. 2) The lady who serviced my room was very pleasant as well. Initially there was a small language barrier but thanks to apps on our iphones, we were able to communicate effectively and effortlessly. She was extremely pleasant and provided a warm welcome and exceptional service.

First bad thing was the parking, they don’t have a lot of parking space. The rooms and the inside I feel like it’s a bit outdated. The fridge in the room looks really old I tried to open the door of the fridge and I almost took out the whole fridge. There’s music loud outside at 2AM. The TV is really old, doesn’t have evern netflix.The hotel really needs an update, the shower weren’t that clean either. You can’t adjust the ac. I chose this hotel because of the Marriot brand, they never disappoint but this time was a real disappointment. Sorry!

Terrible hotel, badly needs renovation. I feel very misled by all the positive reviews, and wonder where those people stayed at. Theyve renovated the lobby, but when you go upstairs, the rooms are damp and musty. The complimentary breakfast mentioned in some reviews is a sad grab and go bag. I was supposed to stay here 3 nights, and switched to another hotel within hours of checking in here. I will not stay here again.

The rooms were old and musty smelling asked to move rooms once I identified stains on the sheets and bedskirts.
