Marco and Rob are two of the most dedicated and proficient teachers Ive ever come across, in addition to just being amazing people. Over the past year Ive taken their Meisner I and II classes, as well as their acting on film class, and all were amazing experiences.On top of that, their response to the Covid-19 pandemic has been quick and professional, and they expertly adapted their curriculum to teach over Zoom.

I’ve been attending Truthful Acting studios for about 4 years now. I thought I would take a course and then just know everything. That definitely wasn’t the case. Every time I took the next course Marco and Rob taught me something new that took me to the next level! They have a wide variety of courses that will equip you for whatever the industry needs. I definitely would recommend actors from BEGINNERS to SEASONED actors to attend and will benefit come the courses and the loving no judgement environment. I have now been able to land role lead roles in feature films. When I first started I couldn’t even book any audition lol Now I have numerous theatre, and film credits and have an Agent.

This has been a wonderful experience for me. You learn so much about acting, but also you learn something that not anybody cares about and it’s to be yourself, and that you are enough to achieve whatever you want in your life and career. When I was first looking for an acting school, I was checking reviews for all the schools in the area. When I came across TA I thought someone had to be making up their excellent reviews, I mean how could all these people be claiming that an acting school changed their whole life? Well it turns out that they are the real deal. Both of the instructors are world class, not only with their teaching, but they are just straight-up exceptional people. They make sure every student feels welcome regardless of background or experience level(I had no acting experience before joining their school). They will give you every tool you need to achieve your potential. I wont sugar coat it and say that they can turn anyone into a great actor, because that depends on the person putting in the work. However, if you listen to the things they are teaching you, and give it your all both in and out of class, you will absolutely surprise yourself. Some of the things they teach can seem bizarre or might not quite make sense at first, but trust their process and you will start to feel like a new person, I kid you not. Worth every penny, but just be sure that you are willing to invest the time and take it seriously. They will tell you, it doesnt matter how talented you are, the most successful actors are the ones that put in the work. So if you join their school, just trust the process, put in as much time as you can and you will achieve things you never thought possible.

I love this school and the people here with all of my heart. The amount of understanding and love I’ve been given almost feels like I don’t deserve it but that’s just it TA makes you feel like a home you never had. It’s so much more than an acting school it’s a place that will mold you, push you and assist you in becoming a better human being. Worth every penny worth every moment. I was once in your position, interested in acting but didn’t know how to go about it. I thought I could figure it out on my own but no. I tried looking for schools for months and came upon this and searched through the website numerous times but wasn’t Convinced because I was scared to jump. Then I just said what the heck and just signed up for the class. Now I know you read all of these reviews and say is this place really that amazing or are they just trying to get students. I have now been through 3 of their classes and it has been the most amazing experience of my life but I can’t tell you in words, you have to experience it so just jump. What this studio teaches is so much more than just acting, things that we have forgotten as human beings. So you can keep staring at the screen like I once did or you can jump in and get one of the most amazing experiences of your life if you put the work in and take it serious. People that don’t want to be actors have also taken the 2 of the classes with me because they claimed “ it made them a better human being”. So my advice, just do it for you because you don’t want to ask yourself one day, what if.

Life changing doesnt even begin to explain the experience Ive had with Truthful Acting studios. I spent years trying to repress an urge to pursue theater and within seconds of walking in the door, I knew I had found my place. Marco and Robb (the instructors/owners) will encourage you and guide you and push you outside of whatever limits you think you have. They will help you learn that you are, in fact, enough. You are enough just the way you are and this is the place where you will learn to love yourself for that and to trust that you have everything you could ever need already inside of you.

I just started my lessons at TA, and I already know this is one of the best Acting Studios in Florida. Truthful Acting Studios, where do I even begin. I started there in January 2016 after much contemplation. I had always had a little voice in the back of my mind whispering my constant desire to try acting. So many times I found ways to talk myself out of it. An Extraordinary 30 weeks that changed who I was for the absolute better. The environment, the material and faculty are all superb. The studio became a place I felt at home and peaceful in. Truthful Acting Studios is the most compassionate place one can go to. The teachers Marco and Robb are trustworthy and walk the students hand by hand in the artistic journey.Marco and Robb are interested in training their students to function in the industry as artists, not just actors. Artists who take the technical craft of acting to another level, artists who weave their own personality into the work they do. Marco and Robb train the students to perform at an emotional level that 95% of actors do not perform at - because they dont know how or because it is too emotionally exhausting. But the students who come here learn these techniques and have an instant leg up in the industry as compared to those who cannot act as personally and truthfully. Marco and Robb are also interested in using the artistic lessons to help their students live fully healthy and productive lives - they want their students to be happy. Every student comes in one way and through the exercises and community of the acting school over the course of a four month semester, come out a different person with close bonds to the teachers and their classmates. At the end of each semester every student is sad to leave not just because of the bonds they built because of the time they spent, but because of the closeness and comfort they experienced in this studio. I found Truthful Acting Studios about 3.5 years ago, I was lost and confused with where my life was headed, but I knew I wanted to try something out of my comfort zone and Ive always had a passion for the arts and acting. So after a little hesitation I clicked on the registration button and Ive never looked back. This place that I now call my second home has changed my life in ways that I can never fully express in words. I have met some of the most like minded people that I never knew existed in the world. When I say we are family, its because we truly do become that. We support one another and go to each others shows but we also understand the struggles and want to push each other to dig inside and find the fight, our voice, and our inner artist. Marco and Robb are 2 of the most amazing men I have ever met in life. They will not give up on you and they will push you just far enough. Sometimes we need that. We as human beings dont realize what were capable of because we have these nasty little voices inside our heads telling us we cant but Marco and Robb see that you can and you will get there with their guidance. Its hard for me to see it sometimes, but I know that I have grown tremendously since walking through those doors and you will too if you trust the process and do the work.

Two years ago I realized that I had been putting aside what I really want in my life because of the influence of what others think I need, long story short I moved to Orlando and finally took this small but giant step of researching for Acting Schools and Teachers and I found several options but one thing I will never forget is the personalized attention and advise I received from Marco DiGeorge, he took the time to explain to me face to face what was this journey about and just in that session he helped me to realize and truly believe that it was never too late to start my passion or to pursue my dreams, so I enrolled and after 4 semesters with TA I am grateful not only to him but to Robb, Sam and the whole TA family, because that is the feeling you get every time you step in that Studio.Now, talking about technical stuff, I am an Industrial Engineer, I like methods and processes and things working with certain logic, classes are well planned, structured, they have the experience, knowledge and they did and incredible research about every single aspect of the acting methods, about what the actor will face outside in the real world (we talk about this every class) and the greatest part is that they are the ones taking care of the logic side of this and you only need to open your mind and hearth to what you are experiencing. of course it totally depends on you if you take advantage or not of the tools they teach you, and they constantly remind you about the power of repetition and to believe in the process and believe me the process will give you some amazing surprises and gifts to your personal and acting life.I am giving them 5 stars because there are no more available in a review system but honestly its a great place to start or refine your acting skills, and also to interact with amazing human beings and If you do other kinds of arts (music, painting, etc) you will also find that your creativity will expand in an exponential way.TA have fair prices for what the classes offer, they also have great payment plans and they always reply promptly to any concern of every single student or future student.

I can not express enough how much this school impacted my life. I made a leap of faith one year ago signing up for TA and it was honestly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Not only will you learn so much about the art in acting, but you will also learn so much about yourself. The amount of things I learned from Robb and Marco is something I could never thank them enough for. The passion and drive that they have for acting is so inspiring and their constant encouragment helped all of us to work hard and get through this technique. Throughout this process there were definitely some tough times, but if you put in the hard work you will learn so much. One of the beautiful quotes we talked about this semester says, “If you greatly desire something, have the guts to stake everything on obtaining it” -Cicero. Trust the process. I am very grateful to have learned so much at this school and hope you make the decision to join Truthful Acting. I promise you won’t regret it.

I have sampled a few different acting classes in Florida, and I can say hands down that the training I have received at Truthful Acting has been far superior to the other classes. What makes this program so successful is the twice per week classes, something which many acting schools in the southeast dont offer. This leaves you no choice but to grow as an artist. People often make comment about the tuition price, but when broken down to an hourly basis, it works out to be on par with the other classes in Orlando. Other classes may seem appealing at $300 or so for 8 weeks, but by the end of those 8 weeks, youll have grown minimally, be $300 down and wondering where you went wrong. Trust me; Im talking from personal experience!!

I cant begin to describe how lucky I am to have found Truthful Acting. Since I started taking the classes I have been changed both as an artist and as a person. The instructors take a genuine interest in every student and push us to be better each class and beyond. The classes were inspiring, though-provoking, and often took me to places I didnt know I could go as an actor. It quickly became the best part of my week and I carry the lessons with me in my everyday life. Not only are they teaching us to be dedicated, hard-working, disciplined actors but they are also encouraging us to become our greatest true self. They both prepare you for a career in the business and for a great creative life. I loved every minute and love my Truthful Acting family.

I have only positive things to say about Rob at Truthful Acting. He coached my daughter for an audition when he had a very shot timeframe. He brought her a long way in a short period of time. And he was super nice and encouraging. Its a very warm, friendly, safe environment with signs all over about following your dreams, etc. From my short experience, I would highly recommend Truthful Acting.UPDATE 2019 - Since my first review, my daughter has taken several classes there both with Rob and with Marco. I have still nothing but wonderful things to say about truthful acting and recommend it to everybody.

Honestly, my only regret is that I didnt take the classes earlier! Truthful Acting Studios has given me more than just acting lessons, it gave me a wide perspective of life and love and from what Ive learned from that, I take with me wherever I go! You are enough.I honestly do not know where I would be in my life right now if I had let all of the doubts and what ifs turn me away from my heart pulling me to acting, and this studio in particular.As with anything in life, you get out what you put in. More than a great acting school, you will also find here a family that truly cares about your well-being and your career as an actor. Coming from a scientific background and knowing very little about acting (but always having that soft voice inside of me saying I think that acting is what you really want to do), I came here with the idea that they would teach me how to act... WRONG!!! Truthful actors dont learn how to act, they learn how to DO. I was more than blessed to find this studio and make it the starting point of my acting career. I attended the Meisner Summer Intensive Part 1 this past summer and it was an amazing experience. If there is one thing I could suggest anyone do (you read right, NOT just actors), it would be to take a Meisner class at Truthful Acting Studios. Not only does it teach you to listen and be present at every moment, but it allows you to run through a full gamut of emotions in front of an audience, while your self consciousness dwindles to nothing. This process teaches you patience and makes you realize that the most important mindset change you can make is to approach everything in a what can I do for you? or heres what I can share with you attitude, as opposed to what can you do for me or how can I get this job? The instructors are genuine and caring, and you come out not only as better actors, but more well-rounded people with an instant family and support system.

Life-changing training. I took classes here for two years and it changed my life. I became a much better actor and, as a filmmaker, a much better director. Truthful Acting teaches the Meisner technique, which emphasizes connection with your scene partner(s) above anything. The instructors at T.A. are some of the best teachers Ive ever had. They know when to push and when to ease you through. The training is challenging, but thats because they dont teach shortcuts. They encourage you to enjoy the process. All-in-all, if you want to do great work and change your life in the process, take a Truthful Acting class.

I have a Master of Fine Arts degree in Film, and I have worked in film, theater, and television for my entire adult life, but completing the Meisner curriculum at Truthful Acting was the first instance I felt like I was really learning a craft to support my artistic sensibilities. The curriculum is carefully constructed to instill the qualities in actors I value as a writer, director, and scholar -- namely, behavior that feels human, spontaneous, and honest. The nurturing atmosphere at the studio empowered me, a lifelong introvert, to live some of my deepest, most private truths in front of both my classmates and public audiences. And those classmates became some of my closest friends, and collaborators in my future creative work. I recently graduated from the Meisner program at Truthful Acting and have nothing but wonderful things to say about my classmates, teachers, and the program all in all. Prior to making the decision to begin the Part One classes, I did a bit of research. I attended a showcase of the graduates of the studio. I participated in a free workshop regarding the acting industry given by the studio staff and co-founders, Robb and Marco, and I thoroughly reviewed the website and the technique they were teaching. After careful consideration, I felt it was time to do what I knew in my heart and soul I needed to do to satisfy a relentless drive for my passion in true acting. For many years, I talked myself out of following this path convinced that I was not good enough to even consider acting as hobby. I just finished three courses here. I took Meisner I, starting in January 2018 not really knowing what to expect. Ill admit that I thought the exercises were weird and was frustrated at times. But I saw one of my classmates perform in a play and was blown away by her performance. I was also impressed by others who went through the program when I saw them in shows. So I thought, maybe there is a method to this madness. So I kept going and Im glad I did. When we started scene work, everything started to come together. Then in Meisner II, I had some personal breakthroughs in class and I was hooked. I just finished the Meisner III class and that was my favorite so far. Its always hard to judge how well youre doing with a craft like acting, but Ive seen a lot of growth in my classmates who started the same time I did. If you come in with an open mind, do the work, have some patience, youll get a lot out of the classes here.Outside of exploring the craft of acting, Marco and Robb have been very helpful in getting me started in the business and becoming familiar with the market here in the southeast. I wouldve probably made some dumb, costly mistakes if it werent for them!

Im going to TRY to keep this short.I started my journey by deciding to explore a dream I’ve had for so long- acting. I had let the pressure of society and people around me put me into a box that just didn’t feel right and I had enough!I did some research on different acting techniques, because I’m the type that likes to be prepared before jumping into something and wanted to get training first. I decided on the Meisner technique and read “Sanford Meisner On Acting”- I was hooked! Lucky for me 2 schools about an hour away, on a good day, boasted they do Meisner training! Truthful is THE ONLY ONE that laid out the whole curriculum like Meisner’s original training did and I signed up.I was nervous as heck and embarrassed because I was near 30 and JUST now trying this and thought I’d be the oldest one- I was wrong! The class was so diverse and quickly felt like another family. The instructors really encourage an open and supportive environment. I feel so blessed to have had the classmates I did. I learned not only from the instruction but my classmates’ struggles and gains. I entered this program alone and prepared to focus on “me”, I quickly found myself on a journey with a family that was about “us”. Life changing :)I also learned:Acting is not easy.It takes everyone to make a “safe space”.When you lift those up around you, you get lifted too without even knowing.I will never feel satisfied with my art and that is okay.I now understand what an acting process is and have one.

Taking the Meisner Master Program has been a truly life-changing experience which guides one to their own personal truth. Before I was just acting and doing an ok job, but Truthful Acting has taught me to live within a scene, so fully anyone watching cannot tell where the character begins and myself ends. They have allowed me to take my craft to the next level and Im eternally grateful I have found such an open and safe atmosphere to train. I tried it out, and havent regretted it since.

I started my acting training with Truthful Acting Studios in January 2012. I had no idea what to expect and as the classes continued all I can say is that something transformed in my. I am still learning. Im taking my 2nd foundation class currently (almost done) and Ive added a monologue class from them as well. Rob and Marco are amazing instructors and have really helped guide me on this journey to discover a truthful ability to step into a life. Since joining them Ive flimed two movies, a national commercial and Ive been selected to do two more films (one a lead role). I first began attending Truthful Acting Studios in 2010 and now three years later, I still go back anytime I need a refresher, a reminder or a boost! I always knew that I wanted to be an actor, but this class literally made me fall in love with acting! Both Marco and Robb are the best teachers I could have ever asked for. I went in not knowing how to be vulnerable at all and actually being intimidated by it. As aa mid-octogenarian Ive taking 5 courses at Truthful acting. I wanted to improve my IMPROV shills and lessening the impending mental down grading of aging. IT WORKED!!.Ive been in several short films, 1commercial(I look good in a wheel chair) and realized that I can still memorize lines. The Meisner andChekov techniques are a wonderful way to learn the art of acting with the help of 2 great teachers!
