Speaking from personal experience, I can say that this school is trash. There are constant fights, thefts, and threats. The administration refuses to take serious action against students who constantly get into trouble, or who have even committed crimes inside the school. There were two times in the past two years in this school were students were aggressive and violent towards me (both times the sheriff had to question them). What happened to those students who I almost pressed charges of assault and battery against? Nothing. I was scared into not pressing charges, and was told that the administration would take serious action. All that the students got was a mere referral. Im not even mentioning my academic experience there because if I were to, this would be way too long. Point of the story is: if youre a parent, dont make your child suffer through three years of chain of lakes. And if youre a future chain of lakes student; I wish you all the best.

I honestly love this school. this is the best school Ive ever been to and all the teachers are very nice. I like all except my 7th period teacher 🤷🏻‍♀️ all my friends are very nice 😂😂😂

Parents keep your child far away from this school. Do not be fooled by its location. My son is in 7th grade and everyday he comes home telling me about fights. This year there was a stabbing. The kids steal everything. The administration claims they have a zero bullying policy, however, my child is bullied on a daily basis in front of the teachers and nothing is done. The kids are bussed in from other communities. Tonight I watched parents fight at my childs chorus concert in front of the other kids. My son watched his friends father punch a woman and yell at his friend to always defend his mother. Way to teach your child to hit woman and promote violence and not respect authority. This school needs new administration ASAP and stop the trash from invading this school. My daughter went to Southwest and NEVER had any issues.

Last year I had a meeting with my daughters teacher Mr. Daily and he told me that it was not his job to help my daughter with something she does not understand his job is to teach the curriculum. Now it is only the second week of school and my daughter has been sent to the office over dress code and sent home. 7th grade office said she was not out of dress code but to please the Art teacher that she needed to change. Get a life people are kids are at school to learn. If you are so concerned about dress code make uniforms mandatory.

After I read these reviews, I was scared. My best friend begged me to come to Chain of Lakes. Luckily Im not zoned. But she is. I hope nothing bad happens to her.

This is one of the worst school my kids ever been to his entire school yrs. The one of the Teacher) teach how to do make up and my son Glasses was broken by other kids horse playing in the hall ways they did nothing then he was stabbed in the face by a boy they did nothing and the 6th grade Dean and Nurse never called us so we can take care of it asap we find out after school. My husband got out the car and she said she dont have time for this right now so Im pulling him this week. No more of this mess we are done. The worst school ever. Smh

I studied for one year only, but in that short time I was bullied, having a direct impact on my grades. At the time to leave, some days I saw pair of kids smoking weed. But at the same time on the other half of the year I won the double O award, it really made me feel great. In conclusion even though Ive got a nice experience with COLMS the social and psychological abuse makes me happy of leaving there. Ps: I hated geography with Mr. Hiks :#

Hey parents i study a chain of lakes and its not bad of a school. You guys worry waaayyy to much im only in 7th grade and i barely never got bullied but i do see some students get bullied and its not that much kids there is fights but guys listen every school there is fights and some students some weed im mean its there problem that doesnt make it such a bad school u guys make such a big deal like huuhh.. me and my stepsis seen alot of thins at our schoo and when we tell our friends parents they say its normal and it is even the presidents daughter school has these kind of stuff lol u guys need to chill

The school is OK but a big dump lol as soon as the principal Mr.Anderson is the worst principal I have ever had in my school live.He took my phone and I didnt even have it out and suppend me for no reason he said I was cursing under my breath but didnt matter I was cool with the 5 day I got lol play the game and phone after doing some work around the house.

Very good, I have no complaints, public school with enough diversity, my 13 year old son is in 7th and has not had any problem of bulling or anything like that. Registration was very fast, very friendly people. Good installations.
