Florence knows her stuff and expects you to know everything. (She aint teaching you s*** and she only send your name to the board if she likes you). If youre a beginner, I repeat do not do not do not go there. All of those 5 stars are fake Florence forces you to rate her school and lies about it. I have wanted to attend nursing school for 11 years. I tried several schools and got disappointed by all of them. I found this school and Mrs. Florence has really helped me so much. She is nice. The school is awesome. I am excited. Mrs. Florence even calls to make sure I am comfortable with the material. I am so excited to say I’m a future Licensed Practical Nurse thanks to J&J Healthcare.

My experience with this school is awful very unprofessional, unorganized. If you pay in full cash this is the only time you will hear from Florence . There is no staff to help you I asked for a transcript since June it take the school almost two months to received it. I received so many lies it’s a shame. Therefore, future students beware you are going to this school for failure if you are not ready to get frustrated.

I highly recommend J & J healthcare Institute if you are looking to either complete that nursing degree that you had given up on years ago or just getting started. Just passed my nclex pn exams, after enrolling in this schools Lpn program. The school strives for excellence so if you are attaining this school and feel like the school load is too much or its too stressfull; hang in there. The sky is your limit. it gets better.

Can’t get to know if it will work for me or not because no one is ever available to answer a phone call. I have been calling just about a week. Not a good start.

Just passed NCLEX, first try, with 75 questions! The school taught me everything I needed to know; from the illnesses that plague the human body, to the lab values to determine any irregularities, to the nursing process and how to help the patients. If you really want to learn nursing and succeed in it, then this is the school to go to. Very flexible class hours and learning methods for all students. You cant fail if you do your part and study, and be dedicated to your learning. I wish I could give this school 10 stars!Alicia Garvin

I think you will get out of this school what you put into the school. As she gives you access to Evolve it is a students responsibility to read the material. I know personally Mrs Florence made plenty of exceptions for students. I didn’t get to benefit from when I was as work student to help pay down the tuition, since I was unable to continue due to my husband’s health issues. Everytime I call the number listed it says all the advisors are busy... I been calling since yesterday and all day today 10-7-2020.... yesterday when I called the lady she sounds Haitian (didnt catch her name) told me shell have someone call me, she never took my name or number then rushed me off the phone. Today someone text me giving me a lil info about the program Im interested in, but I like to talk verbally. Guess I have to go there on my day off.

Today our Lecture was done by Mrs. Florence. (which was an review for me) However although it was an review it was very educational for me, to go back over the Lobes of the lungs. Which we have three right Lobes and two Left Lobes. When she does the lectures its always something new or you something that is made clearer to your understanding. You never stop learning if you are open to learn. Thank you Mrs Florence for all that you do.

Nothing but lies to collect people money, dont waste your money and time to go there you will regret this school in probation, no sources of learning. People must get pay to put at least 2 star in that comment. No customer service and you wont be able to take board test too.

I only put a star because I have to.This place is a rip-off please go elsewhere.They will tell you one thing but when they get your money and you start it something different.How can you have full and part time student in the same classroom expecting the part time to be on the same level as the full time. Always short of instructors and you have to leave class early because of that.She is just for her self.

Today I learned about the type of needle gages that you will use as a nurse. I also learned about Injection sites and that veins carry deoxygenated blood and the arteries carry oxygenated blood. Im learning so much and I am very greatful. 💜

I walked in too get information on the school and the program the woman I spoke with was very aggressive but she did thoroughly explain the program and the fees on their website I added up how much money I would need to pay upfront from the syllabus and information that had posted on their website it was roughly 3500-4000.00 in my current career that is something I can afford to pay upfront. So I went to their location which is not a school but a house with little to no parking and I spoke with the woman whom name I do not recall and she told me that at the end of everything I would be paying out of pocket 15,500 dollars plus other fees for the 18 month program when I told her I could not afford to go to school and work full time to pay the school off she told me the head principal or teacher whom name I aslo do not recall will work with you. She said I could pay every week, every two weeks or every month and they would be small payments and when I could I could make a huge lump sum payment of 3,000 or more dollars. It was then that I knew this wasnt the place for me.I was so shocked I didnt even bring up the prices that were listed on their website. I am glad I looked around Orange County Technical in downtown Orlando has the same program for 5,000.00 and financial aid for those without a degree is acceptable but only for those without a degree. My total came out to be 2472.56 after financial aid assisted and I paid that upfront for their year course. I saved money and Im sure I am getting a better education.

WASTE OF MONEY! Very unprofessional, and not geared to students. I gave this school a chance, because they have part-time but it’s useless. You shouldn’t have to pay such a large amount of money to not have instructors teach you. This school doesn’t prepare you for the NCLEX whatsoever. If you don’t want to teach yourself, go to another school for sure!

I am recent LPN graduate student at J & J Healthcare Institute. Whom soon to go and take my NCLEX-PN. My experience was what I was looking for within a school. I wanted to be able to have hands on training, affordable cost with payment plans and small class room settings.Therefore, I would be able to intake as much information as I could. To be able to retain the proper education I needed for my learning style. If you do your research Nursing school isn’t easy.... No matter where you go. I attended the school for the 12 month program. This was an opportunity I am glad I came across and completed.Mrs Florence the owner who has a passion and lot of knowledge about the healthcare field. As well as all the instructors I dealt with. Stands by each and everyone of the students to become great healthcare workers; not only for the school sake but in there future endeavors.

I went to J&J Healthcare institute in 2016 I did the 18 months practical nursing program. I had a great experience with the school, the teachers are very understanding and patience. The lectures were great but i enjoyed the labs even more (since im a hands on person). they really take their time to make sure you understand and are really learning. The Director (Ms.Florence) is really comprehensive and i love the flexible payment plan they have. If you are a working mother and want to go to school, This is the perfect school for you. I went to the school this morning to get some information, sadly to say it was not a pleasant experience. The guy that was supposed to give me a tour and a thorough review of the school was not professional at all. He’s name was Carlos. Needless to stay he was in rush and did not give me all the information that I needed and when Ms. V the director took over he proclaims at loud that something was wrong with me because I was disgusted by he’s attitude. Thank God that the director was here to take over because anyone would have walked away.

Today I learned how to insert/removal a female Foley catheter, and Tracheotomy care. It was a great experience as a current student nurse.
