We had the best experience so far since we have moved from old bridge new jersey my son loves going to school and being an AR honor student the programs they offer for children with honors is amazing. Thanks to the staff for giving us a great transition awesome staff!!

Its an alright place and you can get a pretty good education here, and a lot of the teachers are great, like the civics teachers or Ms.Cox, but the principal is horrible. They have really strict rules and are unfair with their punishments. And a few of the teachers are horrible. Namely Ms.John. She had favorites, had boring, unhelpful lessons, and was really mean to the kids with bad grades, which were a result of her bad teaching. If you have her class, do yourself a favor and transfer, hopefully switching to Ms.Cox or Ms. Allred. And other than that a lot of the teachers are nice.

It was a great school during the 2013-14 & 2014-15 school year. But then Ms. Godeck came & it was horrible. So Im praying for all you new children that are going to this school & the children who already attend this school. Because its horrible. :)

Welcome to the school who offers little to absolutely no respect to any of their students. After being in this school for about 2 years now i can defenately say this is a horrible learning environment. The staff doesnt do anything to solve problems that are actually vital to the learning experience. But instead they care more about what you wear on your body. If you want to have a good middle school learning experience, dont come to this school. Ofcourse the name is Freedom middle school so you would think you have atleast some freedom in this school. Able to wear clothes that you feel confident in. Even able to carry your belongings with you without it taken away. If you dont want your belongings to end up in a trash bin stand up to these people and what they think is right when we know its wrong. If you dont want to get harrassed by the administrators because of a piece of clothing, then stand up to them. They are basically taking away our rights. From the learning side of it all, most teachers care about their students well being and such. But some dont. If you want to have a good school environment while youre growing then make sure these people are out of the area they are not supposed to be in.

Im a 6th grade student here at FMS, and there are a few good and bad things about it, the good things are that from time to time the history teachers get together and do cool projects per se, like rn were doing a murder mystery, and the teachers are mostly nice. (the princible dresscodes a lot). But some bad things are that a lot kids litter and theres trash everywhere, and as someone who doesnt curse everyone curses, and most kids are rude, and theres a lot of fights and drama, while you can make some good friends, mostly the kids are rude.

The school year in 2015-16 was great until they fired my favorite teacher mr.t he was a god and only wanted to help kids who couldent fit in

I went here for my 7th grade year the 2016-2017 year and it was amazing due to mr hough and a new teacher of that year , mr forté and they made my year the best

The principal is a f*****g b***h she doesnt treat the students equally, shes an hypocrite, is always yelling at us for just being nice to each others, you cant hug someone at this school because the f*****g principal would yelled at you, or give you a detention. The only good thing about this school is that SOME teachers are nice and know how to do their job, because some wont even explain how to do the assignment.A lot of kids are drug dealers or do drugs and the they(ms. Godek) know that but she still havent done anything about it yet, OCPS should consider firing her because I have seen kids cry, fell bad and In my situation get a serious painful headeck because we just want to punch her in the face but because we dont want to be like her we just keep the rage inside us and wait till it passes. In overall dont come to this school while ms. Godek still the principal. I dont care if this comment is a problem for you🖕b***h

I am sure that this year the school has been better tahn ever less and less bad kids and drug dealers and fights are gone with as new era but still new and still bad teachers to the school who believes in Mrs. Godek bootleg philosophy just to keep their job at this school.

I like it but the only bad thing is that some kids start writing bad things or bad words in the wall or in the floor.
