This school is one of the best I have ever been to. Teachers will help you one on one and go through everything till you understand. Dr. K helped me so much with math and without her I think I would be stuck in HS still. The teachers dont rush you at all to complete a class. Mr. Goodrich helped me get into college after I graduated. If your child is struggling with school, send them here, and without a doubt you will see them walk the stage.

Highly recommend Chancery if you do not like the regular high school system. There isnt any homework but they have work that you have to turn in to the teachers. Everything is on the computer and its on your own pace. At this school you cant have an excuse not to finish because its all about how well you work and the effort you put in it. The staff here is amazing and are willing to work with the students to help them better themselves and help them to understand their work.

The first time I got here I thought it was going to be hell, but the teachers are nice. I really did get helped a lot knowing that I was a difficult student but Chancery does help you get your diploma, you just have to be positive about your self and actually come here to work. This school is the embodiment of dont judge a book by its cover. On the outside, it looks small and it blends in with its surroundings- but when you step inside it has the potential to be a home. It has positive energy, great teachers and staff, and students that you can call friends. Overall, being a student here has been a pleasure and an experience I will never forget!

My first thoughts of Chancery were kind of scary. That was until I actually started to attend Chancery High School. I believe coming here was one of the best choices I made yet. Staff was extremely helpful and as for the work its simpler. Overall my experience here was awesome.

Out of all the 6 highschools I’ve been to, Chancery by far has been one of the most memorable schools I have been to. Although a lot of students are ignorant of the rules here I haven’t had any issues and feel that every rule here is set in place to further our education and protect us. The staff here is great, I never felt like I wasn’t getting the help I needed and if you ever need to talk to a teacher or admin they are here for you. The school is smaller than your normal high school of a thousand or more students but it provides the one on one many students may need if they don’t work at the same pace or learn the same way others do. I recommend this school for anyone who does want to graduate early or just have quieter environment from a regular high school.

As a former student at chancery, it a great school to work at your own pace. There are wonderful and very helpful teachers here that are willing to help you. They go out of there way each time to make sure you understand the subject or lesson. If you put in the hard work it will pay off in the end.

Chancery is a great school, if you’re behind in school or you want to graduate faster. When I first arrived at Chancery I told myself that I wasn’t going to socialize. I promised myself I was going to come here and get my work done to minimize the distractions. The environment here made me go back on that promise, which is a good thing. The teachers are extremely helpful when you don’t understand a topic and the other students aren’t bad as well. Students here get a bad rap for being delinquents but the truth is most of them are just trying to turn their lives around. So don’t let rumors of chancery stop you from coming here to better yourself or graduate faster! Chancery has helped me purse my career in the Military and has had active duty members come and answer questions I have. To conclude Chancery is a great school to get yourself back on track and help you towards your future! (Although the walls could use some paint)

My experience here at chancery was amazing I never felt more important in this school. I appreciate everyone that has helped me with learning the material and the staff and teachers are the best at this school. Made me felt like a good role model and student.

This school helped me accomplish my goals in life. The staff worked with me everyday( especially Mr. Vasquez, Mr. Goodrich, and Mrs. Vega) and other staff help me get my stuff together and complete all my classes. They all treated me like I was part of their family and that made me happy.

Highly recommend coming to chancery if you dont like the regular school system. The staff is super helpful and they make sure youre on track with graduation. I was able to get my high school diploma and still go to work at the same time.

Comparing the years at my old high school to my time at this school, obviously this place wins by a landslide. You have teachers and a system here that actually helps you learn and grow. Apex helps you learn the subject at your own pace, no need to feel rushed because your falling behind everyone else it’s just you and the computer. And the teachers are so nice and friendly that you forget that you are actually here to learn and not goof off. There’s are teacher for every subject you take, some teachers and even some of the staff can help you with the work( only if you ask nicely though.) I highlyrecommend this place when your other school lets you go, you drop out and decided you wanna get you diploma, or whatever the reason. Each session is 5 hours long, they have a morning class from 7:30-11:45, or the afternoon class from 12:30-5:30. You can even do doubles to hurry up and graduate faster. This place is a second home for me and I’m glad to had spent my high school years here.

The teachers and staff are amazing and they really go out of their way to help you graduate and receive your diploma. The school hours are very convenient and they help accomadate to your needs in order for you to have the best learning experience you can have. If it wasnt for this school and its employees I would not have been anywhere near as successful as I am now.

My experience in this school was terrible, once I was enrolled that had lost my credits and had lost hope from the beginning. The classes were hard, and it was especially hard staring at a computer for five hours. The math teachers are terrible and didn’t even know how teach, The only way it was possible for me to graduate was not even a hand full of people. They were the only ones who really believed in me...so if you are in need of a school that has that one on one teaching this would be a good school, just try not to lose hope like I did and stay focused.

This school is better than any school I’ve been to. The teachers really care about you and help through whatever. Especially Ms.Nesmeith. She’s the reason why I’ve finished today . Honestly this could be one of the best schools that you could attend ,they strive for the goal of graduation for each and every student no matter the circumstances. With the help of the teachers of chancery I was able to finish 3 semesters of math,a whole credit of English and economics in a month

I went inside Chancery requesting a enrollment packet, and was told to come back this week BEFORE 2 (no specific time before that). I went in to the school today to re-enroll and get answers to a few questions, and I walked out so FURIOUS. I am only 19 years old, I have never filled out an enrollment packet so of course I will have some questions. I also have absolutely no family in Orlando to help me fully complete it, I moved here from Tampa by myself to get away and provide myself with more opportunities than I had before. There was a man who opened the door for me, and he seemed to be the only one that actually had interest in helping me (and I greatly appreciate that!) The lady up front was due to go to lunch, and I could hear her attitude from the back saying tell her to come back at 1:30, Im on break now. The gentleman tried to get the enrollment specialist to help me, but she came out VERY RUDE. She refused to sit down for 5 QUICK MINUTES to quickly look over my packet with me. Instead, she rudely started highlighting things on my packet and said theres nothing they can do until I bring in a bunch of documents (half of them my charter school in Tampa has, and all that needs to be done is a quick call so they can send or fax my paperwork over) . She didnt look through the packet to see if there was anything else that needed to be done, or if it was acceptably completed. From what Ive seen so far, I will NOT be returning to a school that feels like their time is too precious to assist someone who is trying to better themselves and receive their education. The administration & staff for this school really needs to be changed because the way they treat their potential students is VERY UNACCEPTABLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. If they do not like their job, they should not be in an environment where it is vital to help somebody.

In my opinion all the classes I took here were very easy to complete with out much help at all. Every one comprehends things at a different level. If you dont take any shortcuts by skimming through lessons and not taking notes you will see that completing classes in this school is much faster than in public schools, making it easier to graduate early or on time if thats your goal.-For anyone thinking its more convenient to do FLVS because you dont have to leave youre house, This school is still a better option. Ive tried it once and hated it. Asking a teacher at chancery to break down anything you have troubles with is way quicker and easier than looking through websites and videos to find the right one that answers your questions.

I felt sorta shocked that people have even the. least a problem there , this school has helped me in so many ways Im just so thankful. Yes we arent located in the best neighborhood but does that mean student in those neighborhood dont need education I myself dont live in the best neighborhood but school isnt all affected by that. The main reason chancery was my option was the day I got there they gave me a enrolling papers ,not only I got there with 13.5 credits and not I have 20 almost dont this school is different but it is really at your own pace you come for one reason to graduate .I am so grateful that they accepted me as a student of you need help all have to do is ask . we go to field trips to colleges ,we get to do blood drives, lots of military recruits come to talk to us. we get more attention given to the fact that we are smaller then normal schools but it has just of the same or more impact. Thank you chancery!UPDATE: What can I say ? I am officially a GRADUATE at Chancery Charter High School !!! This school has impacted me in so many ways. It has taught me a lot of myself and my learning abilities in every subject. This school has all of the subjects you need to strive to reach your goal! Now lets start on the bad reviews above and tell you that those students arent people who are self advocate for themselves - like the great Mr. Goodrich said. Our school has counselors and the teachers help out if your not okay. Back to the bad reviews, those students come here to sleep and put no effort on receiving a high school diploma. Nobody said it was going to be an easy journey, but we have teachers with the knowledge of every content. This school has brought many students to believe that any thing is possible if you put in your all. I want you or whoever is reading to understand this school isnt on the best street but once you get inside and see what our school is all about it will impact you or your child`s life . This is the first time in a long time that school was a positive and interactive experience. I cant express my gratitude enough in words; this school is my salvation. We had food on a Friday, were rewarded for our efforts, and were given free supplies! I gained back the 4 years of hope I lost within a month. Dont worry about the students, because we are all there for similar reasons and the staff are like family. I had never been so happy attending high school, and yet I never knew that I would miss it so much. I hope my review has left a great impression of this school, because it gave me the opportunity I didnt have before.

Chancery Charter High School was an amazing experience that allowed me to graduate on time. The staff here made my overall high school experience a better one than at my home school. Everything was 1 on 1, and everything was at your own pace which helped you move forward, instead of being left behind in a traditional school by not understanding the material and still having to move on. This school changed my life completely for the better. At the school I was before, I didn’t have a chance at all to graduate and that destroyed me. I had nothing else to do had no other options until a teacher recommended me to attend chancery high school and that’s when everything turned for the better. I had no hope at all I didn’t think I was goin to be able to do it all in my own especially at the age i had with the grades I had, anyone could of dropped out but every single teacher held me up and told me to keep strong ! Chancery is my home where my future became true and for that I will forever be greatful.

I remember when i started i didn’t know nothing in English nobody believed that i will finish one day but with the help of all the teachers there and with their support in 1 year 4 months i graduated. Trust me it’s a good high school, the teachers will do their best to help you accomplish ur goals.

When I first started going to chancery high it was very hard because I wasn’t use to working on my own, however there was a few teachers I could always count on to get me back on track and stay motivated, there was moments I felt like these teachers was my family because of how much support and the belief they had in me. Mr.Goodrich(Bestfriend), Mr.Bojack, Mr.Johnson and Ms. Vega help a lot with my classes especially in math. Going the extra mile for me was something I always admire with chancery

The school was a great school. I was able to work in a comfortable environment. I was able to work at my own pace and do my work in peace.

Upon entry to chancery i had a very negative outlook on this alternative school because just like most of society does, they believe in what they are told sometimes. I had over heard that this school was for kids who were drop outs, and had attitude issues and full of kids who spent time in and out of jail. i was worried about being put into the wrong crowd. but upon entering chancery i saw that this school was much more than all the negative stereotypes. the staff is well knowledge and help maintain discipline, (which as a student i lacked) which is why i ended up in chancery in the first place. its a great way to work at your own pace, the faster and more double sessions you do you can get out fast or delay yourself. you must put in the work to succeed here. the staff always treated me as if i was family. each staff member knew your name and they built a personal connection with you. not once did anyone here at freedom give up on me even when i doubted myself. they gave me second chance at completing school and getting a high school diploma. they worked with my work schedule and helped me succeed in my career all while pushing me to do my best and never give up. the staff here today will always have a special place in my memories while i look back on the day that i graduated. this school has done more than give me a second chance at finishing school but also it prepared me for the real world and taught me a lot about who i am. and for that i will forever be grateful for chancery and its staff!

I was able to get the rest of my 3 credits done in less than 2 months. Mr. & Mrs. Rosario ALWAYS helped me when I needed it as well as my B-2 teacher Mr. Johnston. I look at all the teachers & staff as a family & Im glad I was ablr to finish & graduate from Chancery

My Experience at chancery was the complete opposite than I thought it was going to be , The outside comments and me personally thinking this school was for just for dropouts was the main reasons why I did not want to come here .. But It was the opposite of that , Because this school provides some of the best teachers that help you one-on-one if you need the help they are always around to assist , but overall I can say this is one of the best schools out there to help you succeed and earn a high school diploma .

My Feelings about the schools in Florida,I moved from Philadelphia to Florida. When I started school here, every school that I went to never cares about the student even though they struggle mostly all the time. I started going to Freedom HS and the lack of the teachers responsibility to help the student and eventually send you to Chancery because they just want straight A+ students just to keep their reputation and dont care about the students.I was a straight A+ student till I failed the last semester. I started to go to chancery HS last semester in april, well guess what! Ive been in this school for almost a year and only finished one class. Especially when you ask for help, the teacher will either ignore you or if they help you with your class, you will still fail the quiz. There are so many students in this school for years and they try there best to graduate but the school doesnt help the student enough for them to pass each quiz.There are students in this school that are 20-21 years of age that have been there since 18-19 yrs old and it really takes forever to graduate just simply because of lack of help to students. I think this school is equivalent to jail that would never let you out. There is no solution for this school to help students and are keeping you in place forever like in a frozen lake or stuck in time.When a student turns age 21 they will kick you out the school because that age is the limit for them just for the student to get an education. THEY SIMPLY DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANY OF THE STUDENTS AT CHANCERY!It probably would be better to do online classes at home than going to chancery.Everything I said above is the truth about this school. You have a better chance doing online classes to graduate than going here.Thanks Ryan

I enrolled into Chancery with the average low expectations, only to be welcomed with open arms and nothing but support. The majority of the people here all have the same goal; to graduate. Chancery High School saved my life.

The time i spent at chancery was very faint but in the time that i spent i got 2 credits in only thirty eight day the teachers here are amazing and treat you like your family if i can start over and come to chancery again i wouldn’t change a thing

I graduated from Charter High School, it was a great school and a great school for any learning style, very helpful staff all willing to go the extra mile for you to help you achieve you goals.

I use to go to Chancery but i graduated after a year of being there. The only reason it took so long was because I started to slack off. I have to say that this school was 10x better than a normal school and the teachers actually care about you but dont waste their time if you dont want to take things seriously.

Chancery Highschool is a great school with great teacher and administrators. Everyone here is respectful and if your struggling with a class the teachers are always here to help.

This is a great environmental if your really trying to catch up or graduate early here at chancery they provide that one on one help and i love that here .unlike regular school you just a kid here at there school i first i didn’t want to come here but now i really love it here !!!!

Chancery high school was an amazing experience for me. I was very skeptical because of the things I heard and how dr.phillips high school made It seem. They told me it was a school for bad kids so you are skeptical at first but I guarantee your first day of orientation you will see that the staff and teachers actually care about you we are a small school here so all the staff is able to connect with you more. This school is an amazing school. You do have to sit infront of a computer all day but you have a great support system here at chancery just come motivated ! And hit doubles and you will be out of here before you know it !

I was given tremendous encouragement, help with my studies and guidance from almost every staff member who have become like a family to me at chancery. I will warn that this school is not for everyone, BUT everyone can graduate from this school.

Compared to my old school i really loved and enjoyed chancery and all the teachers are amazing i would recommend chancery to anybody all the staff makes you feel like family and is on your side through it all.

I was in a rough place as an at risk teen I had trouble in traditional schools but when I got here the first thing I did was struggle because I was used to being and doing everything alone but the teachers like Ms.Nesmith Mr.Goodrich Ms.Goins & Mr.Vazquez made all the difference they taught me to be more open and to have more fun but most importantly how to be a better person and see things in a brighter light I honestly could not have made it this far without them I am truly grateful I took a chance on the school and that the school took a chance on me (I guess thats why they call it CHANCEry) I wasnt the best kid but they never gave up on me even when I gave up on myself thank you Chancery high I am the future army soldier I am today because of the life lessons you taught me I will always remember and cherish the relationships I have made here with teachers security front desk and friends also the principal and assistant principal.

Chancery is not as bad as you think they help you and there family i whould highly recommend going to this school!

I just moved to Florida from a different state & I will say this. The program its self is amazing, the things they offer is great, its basically based on your pace, great way to get out of school faster. However, the school is filled with ghetto uneducated kids, the environment is horrible, the staff isnt any better, the staff is just as ghetto as the kids. The school staff claim they want to help you but are just rude, this one teacher (no name) talks to the kids like they arent worth anything, she goes around each classroom & is just negative Energy Ive seen the way shes talked to kids, shes very unprofessional & just overall nasty. The neighborhood. Disgusting. The area is surrounded by junkies and creeps, I wouldnt recommend ANYONE to come here unless its really the only last option like it is for me.

Its a all around great school the teachers go above and beyond to make sure your understanding the subjects if you are focused on graduation then there shouldnt be no problem in graduating

I must say all public school in Orange County should be like Chancery. It’s a place that made me feel safe especially with Mr. Nelson’s guidance. They have great english teachers such as Mr. Bojack,Mr. Vasquez and Ms. Goins. There is no other science teachers in Orange County that could’ve made me understand science like Mr. Johnston and Mr. Houston. I’ve never met anyone here like Ms. Nesmith , once you get to know her, she is the most caring teacher thats here and she will not stop until u successfully succeed in chancery😍

I liked this school. In the beginning doing the quizzes is a little hard but once you become adapted to the system is a breeze. I have to thank my teachers that helped throughtout my courses: Mrs. Nesmith, Mr. Goldinberg and Mr. Vasquez; I aprreciate everything that you did for me.

Chancery is the best school to attend if you are trying to finish early. Chancery is a privellage therefore you have to make sure youre consistent and attending school regularily, or you will fall behind.They have the best teachers and staff that are constantly pushing you to graduate.They actually care about their students unlike most schools.If you dont show up for school they call everyday to make sure youre okay.They want to see kids graduate. READ BEFORE ENROLLING!!I wanted to give A Brief Review on Chancery high school I went chancery High School for a brief time I think it was around February of this year when I went there I did not like it everyday we had to go through a detector and when we were in class we could not talk or we get kicked out. I didnt like that we had to sit down the entire time. Chancery is depressing!!! also I was lied to first I was told that I only had 5 classes left before I was finished then after I unenrolled at chancery I was told that I really had 9 classes left. I went to El Redentor which is a school on the east side Chancery always talk down on El Redentor they say that they are not accredited but El Redentor is accredited many colleges and the military accept the diploma that you get from El Redentor and I am currently enrolled in college you do have to pay a tuition because El Redentor is a private school the tuition is $475.00 but the atmosphere is much better at El Redentor you dont have as much work to do and the teachers actually help you I learned a lot of great things from El Redentor one of my favorites was business math which is something that you actually need in life its a four month process and you only go once a week for 3 hours. And the time period that you have to be there is firm at Chancery they always tell you that its up to you how fast you get out of there but at El Redentor its 4 months period
