Alan is a great instructor, and thats to put it mildly. He gets you involved in the classes, is an arsenal of information when it comes to security and even life in general. He has a background in law enforcement and the military. I couldnt thank him enough for all of the information he provided the classroom.A+. If you need your licenses, whether its D or G, please go here. I went to S2 for my D license. The 40 hours class was very long, indeed. But Alan made it so educational and kept the attention of the class going. I was almost sad to leave. Highly recommend. They will always work with you and be there for you if you need something.

I got my Class D security license (and plan on getting my G) from this location under the instruction of Alan Riddle. This class was incredibly informative on the tactics and habits that need to be formed in order to become a security professional. I would recommend this avenue to any person ready for serious training on important skills to keep you safe in a dangerous profession.

So Im a google-er but I dont write reviews so this must be important! I google everything before I buy something, before I eat somewhere or before I attend some kind of event. There are so many different places to get your D and G license here in central Florida. It took me at lease a week of reading reviews and going on different websites until I finally found S2 institutes website. It was extremely easy to register for the class and I even registered 2 months in advance (Waiting for a vacation from my current job). The class was actually pretty fun and educating. It was right after hurricane Irma so the class was full because of the previous weeks students but even with that many students it was still enjoyable. Mr. Allan and Jack were great instructors. They taught us everything we would need to know starting out in the security industry. Dont get me wrong 10 hours a day for 4 days sucked but they made it painless with their storys and experiences from the past. I will be going back to them shortly for my G license and a few other classes they teach.

The instructor is very nice very good pleasant teacher wish it was more hands on and less hours during the day. Other then that it was great the instructor is very patient if you are slower or have learning disabilities this is the place to go. Hi five hands down for sure

Mr.Alan is an outstanding instructor. He makes it enjoyable to learn, making sure we grasp the information. He his very patient and has no problem answering questions, or conversations aloud while making sure he stay on task as well as time.

Just finished my class d course with Alan Riddle. Alan is a great instructor with with a Marine and L.E.O background , direct and to the point. He made the class fun and interactive, I recommend S2 and its staff if you are looking for a life and career change.

I took this with a small class about 9 or so students. It was an amazing experience. I came from a lifeguarding background and had some prior knowledge from ARC training; however, S2 Institutes Class D Security training 40hr course blew me away. The instructors Alan Riddle and Sean Conover were excellent, calm, collected, and VERY knowledgeable individuals who have a plethora of in-field experience with Security among other things. If youre considering taking a Class D, I highly consider S2 Institute. Thank you gentleman for making class very interesting and something I wont forget for a long, long time!

Rodney Sanchez is the man. One of, if not the best instructor Ive ever had in my 20 years of life. Brutally honest yet kind and humorous with a big heart. You need real people like him in this world. Someone you can trust and someone who knows what hes doing/teaching. If you can find out whos teaching that week, make sure its Rodney Sanchez. Anyone else will probably kick you out of class if you come back EARLY from break.

Amazing class, glad I chose them.Our teacher, Rodney, kept the class interesting with personal stories and experience instead of just reading from the PowerPoint.(Show up on time and dont be late form your breaks)

Great place to go if you need to get your license

Just finished a course here last week. Got my first security job just now! One of the tests before my interview involved doing a mock incident report. It was JUST like we learned in class. Had I gone somewhere else that didn’t teach these skills I may have not been hired. Excellent course! Learned a lot-Michael Rosas

Rodney Sanchez is the best instructor/teacher I have ever had. He keeps the class interesting and you can learn a lot with him he has a lot of experience.

I saw two boys getting kicked out of class because apparently they were late even though they had an hour of break and came five minutes early but That was too late!? Sad. They were excited for class but the teacher wanted to act all tough and ruined some poor boys time . Now they have to start the class all over again. I saw proof also that they werent even late... I decided not to take my classes there. Dont go there you wont no if they want to make an example out of you just so they can seem tough and waste your money and time.

If I could give a zero star rating I would. I pre- registered a week before my class show up on time and I’m told the class is full, so I tell them I pre- registered said “it didn’t matter don’t know what to tell you” so glad I didn’t pay for it ahead of time online will never go here again pushed a whole week worth of appointments to make time for these classes. If corporate reads this.

Rodney, Martinez and the rest of the staff are great instructors... Would recommend to evryone looking for knowledge and a well trained crew...

Thay made my classes a lot of fun and hands on.

Buyers remorse by day two, total regret day three. 90% of instruction is personal anecdotes from egotistical, unprofessional instructors. The rest is common sense. Basically a recruiting operation by CIS (next door). One instructor uses it as a platform for his religious and political opinions, plus racist and misogynistic commentary, not to mention sexually harassing a female student (when not making other offensive statements towards her).

Ive certified here for 5yrs and received nothing but the best information and instructors. S2 the way to go for knowledge and to receive extra experience
