Southern Technical Institute helped me in one of the most critical time . It opened a door for a new career . Phlebotomy was a real challenge but I took the decision to enroll and take the classes . The externship in one the Advent Health hospitals was great . I got my diploma ; I got my NHA License and a job very quick. I will always be thankful to all staff and directory .

UPDATE !!! I took the CNA State Board Exam yesterday 8/24 and PASSED both the Written and Hands on Skills. My Skills were ROM on Left Shoulder, Pulse and Perineal Care !!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND Southern Technical Institute 🥳After years of procrastinating and putting off becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant and a Med Tech. I had decided to do the CNA and HHA Orlando Package Deal at Southern Technical Institute. The package included Online Certified Nursing Assistant, 75 Hour Home Health Aide (HHA) Self-Administered Medication (6 Hour Med Tech) plus 24 CEU’s. After completing and passing all of the required courses I had attended the CNA Power Weekend class that was from Friday 4/16 to 4/18. And the class and the instructor Ms. Ruth was a AMAZING 🤩 She was very professional and made sure got and thoroughly understand all of the information that’s required for the State Board Exam and what we needed know when we get into field. She also made the class fun and enjoyable. When it was time for us to practice our skills she given feedback and corrected us when needed to make sure we were performing the skills correctly. All of my fellow classmates was so FUN to be around. We all worked together and helped each other when needed. And we all Received our Certificate of Completion. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking courses at this School ...GREAT EXPERIENCE 😁 !!!

Took the CNA/Home Health program. It was a lot of work and rather fast paced but I did it. The instructors and staff at the school were all very nice and helpful. Ms. Rosa at the front desk provided my CNA class with copies of the notes for the skills we were learning in class, which I found helpful because I struggled to keep up with taking notes while watching the instructor demonstrate each skill. I had Ms Jaysha for the CNA class...she was very helpful and worked with me on skills that I had trouble with when we did in class practice as well as after class if we had time and were done early.

Yesterday I completed CNA course. Course was informative, interesting, helpful! My instructor Jaysha is competent, friendly and respectful! I am so happy that chose course in the Southern Technical Institute among other offer. I extremly recommend taking courses here.

If I could give this school a zero I would.1- I took the phlebotomy classe there prior to covid( couldn’t do my clinicals) so they contacted me after months and gave me dates and days that I work ( mind you I have a new job and they never communicated not once or give me a heads specially whenever I am new on this job)2- they promise me that part of my tuition will be a cpr class I graduated since last year prior to covid and I still haven’t gotten a call to schedule my cpr class they promise.They will act like they are trying to help, or they are concern. It’s all a front, they do what works for them. Spend your money elsewhere as their class is self paid and phlebotomy classes was expensive

I would not recommend this school to anyone. I paid the money and received my ekg certificate and was told I would not have a problem getting a job. They lied!! I am struggling to find a job as a ekg tech and also a monitor tech as well. I have applied to multiple hospitals and always get rejected. This school has not helped at all. Do not waste your money, because they do not help with job placement at all!!

I truly recommend this amazing little school. Every single one of the employees are absolutely amazing. They are very helpful and knowledgeable about the health care system in general. And they are willing to go the extra mile to help their students succeed in their programs.

Love this school! I went for phlebotomy and loved every minute of the hands-on program. Ms. Margaret, Ms.Rosa, and Mrs.White were/are amazingly sweet and provided me with a strong support system. I recommend this school to everyone!

I decided to change my career. I took my CNA + Home Health Aide and earned a 75 Hour HHA Certificate. Then, I did my CPR, First Aid and Med Tech courses. I found a job less than 2 weeks after completing my education. For the first time I had different job opportunities being offered to me at once. Thanks to the Amazing CNA, and Home Health Aide instructor Mrs. Marylins teaching abilities has surpassed all my expectations. She teaches to all the learning levels making sure that all the students understands their skills and the material. Mrs. Rosa from students services it is to resourceful and polite. In addition Mrs. White who is the Campus Director is no joke. She is always making sure that the students have a plan towards their future Inspect what you expect Once again, THANK YOU!!!!!

I honestly didnt expect how professional and resourceful they are. Not only its such a friendly and clean environment, I learned so much for taking their EKG course. Especially that their services at the front desk are so polite and always smiling, thanks to Ms. Rosa Diaz. Such a sweetheart, and as well as the director in charge there too. I definitely recommend this place, and I took my NHA board to earn my EKG certification there too. The tuition was not bad too and you pay into two installments, a small down payment before you start the course, and the rest of it at the end, which gave me enough time to save up during the 5 weeks I took the course. Well worth it. Because of this, I was able to get a job in the hospital as a monitor technician.

I passed my CNA skills and written test thanks to this location. Miss Marilyn is the best teacher I could have ever wished for.
