The office staff is most helpful. Any questions that I’ve had they have always gotten back to me so fast. My son has a hard time focusing and he has been shining this year, even given the circumstances. I truly love this school.

I was very disappointed! The principal is absolutely horrible, she doesnt work with the parents at all and her attitude is absolutely the worst to deal with! I thought I was doing something good for my kids by putting them here and it actually hurt them! I wouldnt recommend to ANYONE!!!!

This school is great. Homework every evening. Nice teachers. They work hard and do a great job! THANK YOU!p.s. additionally I want to say that most parents bringing their kids to this school for a reason and not just because it happens to be in their zip code.

My son is in 1st grade. His teacher is wonderful and stays in constant contact with the parents. He loves paleontology club and is thriving there. The front office staff is great as well and I look forward to the next years at coral.

I have searched around for schools throughly to find out what fit best with my child’s needs. When looking at Coral Academy of Science, I just knew this was the perfect place for my child to go. He started off in kindergarten back in 2015 and we plan to continue our journey through high school.The administration and the teachers have been great. Their communication with families is phenomenal. I am always aware of what is going on at all times. For me communication is the biggest thing for me because I want to know my child’s progress. They may have a small parking lot and play ground be they utilize them to the best of their abilities. They also take advantage of the park they have right next to the school. They even have a gate so the children don’t have to walk in the parking lot/ sidewalk to get there.I prefer this school over any other for my child because I have seen lots of growth with my child, the communication is amazing, and the ratio of students to teachers is smaller then the public schools. It seems much easier to have the students be successful with smaller class sizes.

So great to have my kid tell me a year after leaving the school that his 2nd grade teacher once told him, Youre not smart at all. We sought this school out for the science and math emphasis, but in reality the school was over crowded and all about the numbers. I saw it when I volunteered a few times. Elementary school classes with no windows...hot Reno weather...and so many kids it was difficult to maneuver the classroom. Its a good thing my son told me that later and not when it happened or theyd have one less crazy haired teacher there.

Coral Academy is awesome! My son started going there a month after the school year began. Before Coral, he was in public school, and wasnt being challenged. Hes so much happier now that hes in Coral, they do such a great job!

Something went wrong with a teachers or principle stories. I cant tell they made up a story or not. Just be careful who you trust to. I want to point at the principle not working out with a teachers or not fixing the situation with their teachers. The school look nice and peaceful (Ill give you that).

Good school. This school is sought for their high aptitude for the sciences and math. However i personally dont like the amount of homework our child receives. K and 1st grade. Excessive homework for a child of that age.

This place brings me nostalgia but of terrible thoughts

I was at this school for 5 years and let me say, it is the worst school to send anyone to. The amount of rigger and extreme strictness is inappropriate for even a current 7th grader. Yes, I am in 7th grade and the amount of homework given to 4th graders at this school is inappropriate even for me at this age. My first three years were good, but then the school focused on testing, instead of what I acually learned. I went into a SWAS class in 5th grade and was stuck because the leap was so big. CASE spent more time making me do basic functions than learn basic math concepts. We also did no social studies and very little ELA. I would not send any child to this school, unless you want them to hate everything academic for the rest of their education.

I went to the website to find the curriculum but there was no information. I called the school and told the receptionist and she said they dont post it. She said they dont have any written information I could read but she could describe the curriculum. Doesnt work for me.
