My children have been at Coral Academy of Science since Kindergarten. They are now at the high school - one is a senior, the other is a sophomore. Both are scoring in the top 1% in their testing and are well prepared for college.Most teachers at the school are very devoted to their students. During lockdowns and hybrid teaching, the teachers met with my children on Google every day, even for PE, when most of the teachers in public schools were meeting with their students sporadically.Being a resigned teacher, I was not going to send my children to public school in this school district. I am so happy that my children have been going to Coral Academy. They have won many awards throughout their education, in district wide events, and are very confident and driven due to Coral Academy of Sciences fantastic learning environment.

The academic programs are good, most of the teachers are actually nice and helpful, and have genuine concern for the kids and what they’re learning. I have talked to the staff a few times, most of the time they are very helpful. Only complaint I have is drop off and pick up because traffic is horrible, getting in and out. I think all parents should take into consideration that there are other kids that need to get picked up as well.

My son has been a part of Corals family since second grade and he is a senior this year. Most teachers and staff are very helpful and their concern is genuine for the children. The curriculum is engaging and prepares them for hard work in college and career readiness. The high school experience that my son has endured through the last four years have been tough but he has persevered because of the encouragement from his teachers. Thank you, teachers!!!

Our son is really enjoying his first year at Coral Academy of Science High School, which really speaks volumes about the school. The classes are engaging and the teachers are really nice. The administration has gone above and beyond to help our son get into the classes he needs to be in, which we really appreciate. Overall I think the school is a good fit for our son.

If ever there was a community for learning, then this is it. Teachers, students and families all work together for the benefit of all. The thrill of watching the institution grow with academics, sports and social events is a verifiable bonus. Great Job!

Staff was very unprofessional in fact they have no organization skills they have not figured out drop off and pick ups. After dropping off my daughter at school in the morning she waits until she sees her teacher before she goes up to her she doesn’t not know just yet where to stand in line she is only 4. My daughter is starting to understand more and more everyday. A very rude teacher with red hair mentioned my daughter should figure it out which I think is very rude very unprofessional to say to a 4 year old.

Coral Highschool is a great College preparation School with certain sports available. We appreciate everything everyone at Coral does for our family, thank you Coral!!!!!

This school is pretty good. Many teachers are nice and understandable. Some of the kids there are annoying and very disrespectful and staff at times care more about dress code, than addressing the actions these kids do. The counselor is very unhelpful 80% of the time. Instead of helping, he shames and makes you feel bad for making a mistake instead of helping. Needs a better counselor

The outstanding reputation and quality of this school is absolutely astonishing. It is so popular and well thought of that it is difficult for the school to be able to accept every student who would like to go there. It is not just an amazing school by Reno standards, but by national standards.

My child has been at Coral for 3 years, but we are thinking of switching schools. The school refuses to follow our 504 on file and also would not allow us to put certain things into the 504. They also will not follow its own handbook on how it deals with situations. They are just making up more stringent guidelines as they want. They have told us one thing then simply changed it. My child is so discouraged between the administration and some teachers that he doesnt want to be there any longer. I feel like I get push back from the administration and teachers. There is a lack of communication in general from the school.

The school has very nice teachers that do there best to help students in their academic journey and furtherance of their knowledge. The school is small but that means that there is more one on one time with students and that helps in making sure everyone understands the subject matter. The only downside is the less than stellar lunch food, but I dont need to worry about that because I make my own lunches. The school is pretty good.

I love going to Coral Academy of Science High School. I have been in Coral Academy since I was in the 5th grade and this school provided me with countless memories with teachers and students alike. It is very simple to form bonds with everybody in this school. The members in this school are family, our teachers bond with students and encourage them to do better. Coral Academy has a beautiful high school campus and is full of many wonderful people. The school provides students with multiple opportunities such as College Mentor ship Leadership Program as well as the National Honor Society. The school provides students with multiple free club opportunities.

There’s this one teacher who can be very rude and expects students to do a lot even though they have other classes. Also that teacher doesn’t really teach. Gives everything off of a textbook. Other than that it’s a good school

I have been going to this school for about 7 years now, and I have loved every year of it. The students and teachers are likable and very easy to talk to. At this school we are a family and we are willing to create a bigger one.

I like this school, if you are looking for a challenge this is the school to go. All of the courses you take are honor courses and this school is the top school in northern Nevada and the second in the state. I recommend going to the school. All of the teachers are understanding and they do what they can to help you out with whatever you have a problem with.

I have been attending since 6th grade and I have been liking it. This high school is good. Im a student who attends and its a very rigorous curriculum that prepares students for college. 5/5 would recommend for others.

Ive been in this school since 6th grade, this school is not as bad as it is portrayed. Small groups make it easier to get along. School is challenging but in a good way. Overall this is a good school.

This is a really fun and challenging school. The small class size allows for more student-teacher interactions! It has really nice and fun teachers.

Worst school ever. Many offences from students and teachers being disrespectful to any and all females. Insufficient math teachers and a sexist environment. Unsatisfactory education for a towering price.
