The teachers here are real pros. The owner cares about music a ton. The building is clearly made for music. There is nothing but good things I can say about Pure Rock!You wont find a better place to take your kids for music lessons. Especially a place that kids think is cool and are proud to say they learn at.

As a retired music teacher, I have to say am very IMPRESSED! Ryan and staff are really organized, enthusiastic, and over the top qualified! Professional gear, pro stage, and great teachers! I highly recommend Pure Rock Studios!!

I’ve been coming here for the last 2 months and Id have to say it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever done for my kids , we have two kids in piano and 2 in guitar there and I cant say enough good things about it ! Great communication, so personable and feels like a family ! Love it so much ! So glad I was refereed from a friend of mine and my 13 year old son now has something to look forward to and enjoys it so much ( well actually all my kids look forward to it but I felt like before we started this he was glued to his Xbox ) BEST DECISION EVER and BEST place to take lessons !

I’ve always had the desire to play acoustic guitar. So, since my hubby bought me an acoustic for Christmas, I’ve been trying to teach myself. I joined with pure rock about a month ago and Drew has been a great teacher! The 30 minutes goes really fast, that’s when you know your enjoying it.Always, “Music Stirs the Soul.”

All 3 of my kids take lessons at Pure Rock and we love it! The kids each have different instructors who have all been excellent at individualizing their lessons and meeting their learning needs. We highly recommend!

I have been taking guitar lessons with Drew at Pure Rock for a bout a year now. My daughter starting taking lessons as well. Ryan, Anna, and the rest of the Pure Rock team have always been very friendly. Highly recommended for anyone learning to play an instrument.

I have been a student at Pure Rock Studios for six years and not one year was a bad one. I have learned to play two different instruments at PRS. I take individual lessons and I am part of the performance class so I have worked with many different instructors, all of which are highly skilled and fun to work with. Not only are they great musicians themselves they are encouraging and always believe in their students. The customer service is great! There is always someone at the front desk to greet you when you walk in and to answer any questions you have. There are many options for students to perform around town such as Thursdays on first, the Olmsted county fair, at local events, and more. As a student I highly recommend PRS as your music school, you will not regret it!

Ryan and Pure Rock Studios provide excellent music instruction for students. From the first session Ryan displayed a genuine and professional approach to teaching and working with our son. He is passionate about music and teaching, combining technical instructional skills with jamming out tunes. Our son’s drum skills significantly improved and also his ability to play with other students.The monthly “jam sessions” are extremely beneficial and a great opportunity for students to have fun and continue their learning. Ryan’s coordination of community gigs give students the chance to showcase their talents and hard work while having fun playing in front of a crowd. Pure Rock has been a great experience for our daughter and for our whole family. The teachers at Pure Rock are knowledgeable, fun, and very positive. Ryan Utterbacks passion for music and teaching is evident in everything he does. Pure Rock has taken music lessons to a whole new level by providing performance opportunities for all of the students. Not only has our daughter developed her musical skills but she has also gained more confidence in her ability to perform those skills in front of others. Her instructor, Madison, has been an amazing teacher and coach. She is so supportive during lessons as well as at performances. The experience has been so positive, our daughter gained the courage to join up with some fellow Pure Rockers outside of Pure Rock and perform on their own. Thats a true testament to the skill and self-confidence Pure Rock is instilling in its students. Thank you Ryan and Pure Rock for providing such a unique opportunity!

My boys absolutely love Pure Rock Studios! Since the boys are twins we decided for them to take the free trial lesson together with Drew. Since that free trial lesson - they have been hooked! They look forward to their lessons each week and practice at home regularly. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun. I highly recommend Pure Rock if you are considering music lessons for yourself or for a family member.

What an awesome group of talented and caring instructors. The owner Ryan is involved with charities and events all over town, and his students have opportunities to play for live audiences. I see his students play live every year at Thursdays on first.

I have worked with the studio for almost two years now and am constantly impressed by the dedication shown to me by Ryan and the PRS staff. Watching them grow and being able to participate in live performances has been a wonderful experience and I encourage anyone who is interested in learning to Play an instrument to take a good look at Pure Rock Studios.

At Pure Rock studios, I started off with a free trial lesson. I quickly found that I enjoyed the more casual atmosphere at the studio. Instead of the 30+ students competing for the instructors attentions, such as in school, or the strict task master standing over a shoulder criticizing all progress until it felt like no progress, such as in the private lessons Id taken previously, the knowledgeable, competent instructors at PRS were helpful, not overly critical, and not distracted.In their one-on-one lesson format, the instructors guide and advise professionally, but they leave it up to their students as to where they want to go. I would recommend PRS to ANY student of ANY age, as I find their methodology not only effective, but the results Ive gotten from my lessons are unparalled.

Wonderful experiences for our kids to learn and have fun!!! Fabulous instructors too!!
