She is organized and efficient in lessons; while still being open to changing things up if a particular piece or style of practice isn’t working. Tasha is an amazing teacher. She has many different techniques to help practice a piece and is able to teach me and provide me with everything I need, from theory to classical pieces, to become a successful pianist. Shes very good at catching exactly where I need more work on.

Tasha is a great piano teacher. As an adult beginner who has always enjoyed music but never had any official training, I feel very fortunate to have had Tasha as my piano teacher for the past year. She made every possible effort to accommodate my need in terms of both music taste and scheduling. I am a super fan of her idea of training students as fully-developed musicians. She incorporated music theories, improvisation and music history in class to achieve this goal. Im a very self-conscious person who easily gets nervous. Tasha is a gifted piano teacher, and I feel very fortunate that my 6 year old daughter had a chance to work with her.Tasha is very organized, offering structured lessons but still flexible. She seizes every opportunity from the random behaviors of kids to teach something musical in them. When my daughter started pressing random notes rather than playing the lesson book, instead of stopping and redirecting her, Tasha used the moment to teach her how to make her own music and write it down. Furthermore, she taught her how to improvise, which my daughter loved so much!When a piano in the studio needed a minor repair, Tasha took a minute to show my daughter the inside of the piano and explained her the mechanism of the piano.
