Since I was renewing my CPR certification, I was able to complete the online learning module at home and the hands on skills assessment at the Training site. The process was super easy and quick. Everything was safe and clean during my skills test. Definitely would recommend to anyone that needs a CPR certification. One con is that the online learning + on-site skills assessment is more expensive than taking the normal 3-hour in person course. Would be helpful if they were priced similarly especially for working parents in healthcare that have a busy schedule.

My Hospital uses Safety Training Seminars as their preferred AHA certification spot. Online or in person, they make it an easy process. Everyone is very knowledgeable and nice. They stay up to date and have maintained all of the CoVID restrictions very well.

I attended the BLS training in San Francisco and had a fantastic learning experience! The instructor was clear and helpful; they emphasized the high stakes of learning and performing BLS and made sure students understood and could implement the correct procedures. The class environment was clean and tidy, sanitized, and each student had a personal workspace/table set 6 feet from other students. I highly recommend this training seminar.

Pertinent material reviewed, covered new guidelines, mega code,test…..done!They know their stuff and they know how to teach it.Highly recommended, worth the cost rather then waiting for your institution to schedule one or two classes a year and worrying about getting that day off.

Extremely efficient and thorough training! Everything was so straightforward and simple--just what I needed with my busy schedule. Safe, quick and easy recertification process.

I was initially worried about trying to renew my ACLS with an in person class, but Safety Training Seminars did an excellent job at making their courses safe and comfortable. The individual tables allow for distancing, everyone had their own equipment, and theres disinfectant widely available. Ive taken many certification courses in the past, but Sam Hoffman was the best instructor I have ever had. He kept everything interesting, engaged, and was knowledgeable from his years as a first responder. He seemed to genuinely care about preparing everyone to deal with emergency situations. I would highly recommend Sam and this course.

I took the PALS renewal class. The instructor was very clear and helpful. All the registration process was very easy and they were very responsive to any questions I had. I will definitely continue taking my PALS and BLS renewals with them.

I attended my training last February 20, 2021 in San Francisco and I’m grateful that I went to this place. Even though there’s a fear of Covid 19, this only proves that it is not a hindrance to be educated especially in saving lives. I have been getting my CPR certification every 2 years from this same place, but with the recent conditions (shelter in place), I was not as eager for my class. But they did an amazing job! Great location with plenty of parking. The facility is very clean; the classrooms are conducive to learning. Everything was ready to start: up to date equipment and mannequins. Also, complimentary coffee, tea, and excellent snacks are offered. My instructor (Amber) was very professional, knowledgeable, and polite. Definitely non-stress learning, excellent place to refreshing our skills.

Efficient great work as always. initially thought closed, later during the shut down realized open and enjoyed doing online portion before hands on. wish this can continue to save time in the future also after pandemic is over.

Great class! The teacher who taught ACLS was funny (she was a woman, but I have forgotten her name) and knowledgeable. The class was concise, which is really important for me since its my umteenth renewal. They also provided some snacks and drinks, which is always a plus. I would recommend this class.

The teacher, John, did a good job presenting the material and repeating the most important points to etch them into our memories so we can easily recall them if we ever need to administer CPR. Online registering, clean space, good equipment and personable/competent instructors, street parking! It is straight to the point with ample practice time. Punctual, practical, knowledgeable CPR teacher and course. This is the place to go if you need CPR certification for work.I took off one star because they had a kitchen with snacks, but neither a compost nor a recycling bin. Everyone needs to work towards zero waste.

My friend and I took the e-Learning class (2 hours online and 1 hour doing the skills test). Even though, it’s more expensive, I highly recommend it. The online portion helps you go through modules and then simulations of events where you need to perform CPR on adults, children, and infants. This helped me perform very well on the actual skills test. The teacher was very knowledgable on the subject, and corrects you what needs to be fixed. Highly recommend.

I’m an NP and have renewed my BLS for providers licensure with Safety Training Seminars for several years. They provide professional, high quality training without any BS and get you out the door. The facility is clean with excellent equipment, the class sizes are generally small and the instruction is clear, concise and clinically spot on.

I did the CPR class in SF.It was thorough and to the point.Lots of street parking and a great facility with free coffee, tea, and granola bars.I definitely recommend using Safety Training Seminars :)

The instructor was really enforcing the infection protocol; normally there would be two stundent / table the size wasmade to one student /table. The practice mannequins were santized religiously. These were the lite up ones let you know if your compressions were properly done; when two man rescuing done ;the student across the room would pair up; you think it impossible ...it worked. Students were masked at all times till it was the breaths; hand washing religiously;nothing on the desk to cross infect the tables unless used for class; coffee, tea & granola bars; use to have juice & soda. I felt this was safe environment & I renewed my rusty skills for two years; the card is electronic...infection free zone. CPR bessttt. { June 2020 instruction}

I had a great experience getting my PALS initial certification with instructor Luke at the Berkeley location. You can tell he has many years of experience in the field as well as in education. He understands that most of us suffer from PTSD when it comes to testing thanks to nursing school and makes the class as stress free and fun as possible. I am a slow test taker and he did not rush me in any way after everyone else was done. I really appreciate it. I will definitely be coming back in a few weeks to get my ACLS at Safety Training Seminars.UPDATE: I attended ACLS in Redwood City with instructor Robert B. He is funny, an excellent instructor and I left the class confident in my ability to perform in a cardiac code. Thank You.

Took the BLS Heartcode course, purchased directly through Safety Training Seminars along with their in-person skills session. I had some questions beforehand and they were super quick to respond. Im very happy I chose to do the online portion (Heartcode) as opposed to the classroom. It was easy to follow and understand concepts, and I like that I can go back anytime to it to review until it expires in 2 years. My in-person skills session was John. He was great, explained everything very clearly and answered all my questions I had from the online before I even asked them. The way they practiced social distancing by giving everyone their own mannequin was cool too. We were able to safely do 2-person rescues while keeping distance on our own mannequins. Much safer than going to the grocery store! Thanks everyone at Safety Training Seminars! Ill be coming back here for my renewals :)

I really enjoyed the ACLS training class that I took. My instructor was very passionate about the material and it made the class a lot more interesting! Having free and available parking was also a very nice surprise-especially considering this facility is located in San Francisco. Overall it was a great experience!

Though these classes are long, the way this class was run made it more bearable. I have been certified for over 15 years so I have done quite a few classes and this one was by far the most comfortable setting and pace. There is a little kitchen for you to heat a meal and they provide hot drink options like tea and coffee. Very nice facility. Very nice instructor. I would use them again.

This is one of the best training/certification courses I have ever taken! The instructor was awesome and helped simplify and condense the info that we needed to remember. I took the PALS Provider initial certification course and as a nurse who has had very little experience with caring for sick children I felt the instructor made this course manageable for anyone. The training environment in San Francisco was easy to get to with free parking, and had snacks, coffee/tea, and phone chargers. The only thing it could have used was a fridge for people that brought their lunch with them. There were plenty of nearby places to grab lunch such as Whole Foods and Philz coffee. I would highly recommend this place!

I took this seminar to keep my yoga teacher certificate current, and I would recommend this class even to the people who dont need to have CPR or First Aid certification: never know when emergency strikes, and this simple training can help save lives.The sign up on the website is straightforward; there are weekday and weekend options available. The trainees receive a helpful current AHA workbook to take home.The instructor was good at teaching, knowledgeable, and clearly an experienced emergency care provider. (I took this class 2 years ago as well; had a different instructor, who was also excellent).There are helpful instructional videos, in-class discussion, clarification, and demos, and plenty of opportunities to practice on manikins and other training equipment.Remember to bring cash!

Not sure where Karl is located, but he was invited to our SF location to give the training. He was THE BEST! He was personable, made it fun and made the concepts easy to remember. I would highly recommend training for CPR and First Aid with this business and definitely request that Karl return. Glad to know that the certification lasts 2 years, which is not often the case.

Even though the program felt it went quick in regards to time, it cover a lot of information that is vital for the BLS certificate. The dummies were a great tool for us to practice adult and infant CPR. Something that I like to mention is that one of the activities we did during the training was helpful since it was a team work. We mocked an emergency scenario where three responders work together and each had an specific role so the situation is under control. Great program!

I really had a great experience going through the course. I cant wait to go to some of the additional training. I am a commercial fisherman and a contractor. There is always a potentialneed for first aid and cpr .

Took BLS, ACLS, and PALS here and would highly recommend. I did the online class with in person skills testing for BLS and ACLS, and it was very quick and effective. For PALS, I took the in person class, and it was great. We finished about 3 hours early and we had a full 1 hour lunch break.

Respectful, efficient, and helpful. First time using this location and what I found refreshing for recertification is that the instructor started from the place that this was for recert - content and skills demonstration did not start from a place where the instructor thought we all needed to go back to basics. It felt very respectful. Other classes I have taken felt more patronizing.
