Store has a friendly environment and reasonable prices for the most part. Not a huge selection when I was there but thats probably because guns really fly off shelves these days. Ill probably amend this review to a 5 star after Ive been there a few more times

Very good experience with this shop and the owner John. Ordered my firearms online and had them sent to the store. Everything went smoothly and got a chance to talk with John. Very informative man who is deeply passionate about his work, a rather rare quality these days. John and his team are awesome. Just bought my wife a brand new Taurus G3C. They went over the weapon and how it works. They are my go to shop for weapons and ammo. They know their stuff and are always open to talk. Friendly and personable every time I go in. I would HIGHLY recommend S3 weaponworks to anyone looking for a new or used weapon or even for additions or service.

Awesome gun shop, decent variety of firearms. Seems very family oriented which is cool. Had a decent assortment of ammo + magazines. Firearm selection was meh, but I understand with how things are going right now. Wish they had better display tags for pricing + what the firearm was. Dont want to bother them asking what each one was and its price as some didnt have tags.

My experience with S3 began a couple years ago when I worked with John and his company as an intern. This experience was incredible with John teaching me how to perform almost all of the tasks that were in his day to day routine, from making sales and doing paperwork, to assembling firearms, and learning what to look for on used firearms that were being sold to the company or needed to be repaired. Based off of what I was taught, I now run a gun store in a different state. When the idea for custom AR lowers came across my desk, I immediately reached out to S3 to have the work done. While the order has taken longer than the initial time frame, John has kept me appraised of any and all delays that have occurred, many of the delays stemming from a high level of quality control that S3 has in place. I cannot recommend S3 highly enough as I am always confident that the product I need will be top notch and exactly what I was promised. Ive gone to S3 a number of times now and John & co. have yet to steer me wrong. Very knowledgable and courteous. Both my major sidearm purchases have gone largely without a hitch.

Very disappointed with S3. Horrific communication, dropped off a rifle for work to be done. Owner said parts were in stock and could have it done in 4 to 5 days. Rifle sat for just over a month with no progress done! No communication from owner on what was happening, short of me making multiple phone calls to the business inquiring on my rifles status to be met with excuses! If this is their businesses model they wont last long. Lost my business and cannot in good faith recommend them to anyone.

These guys know their stuff and theyre very friendly towards all of the customers.. My background check got delayed somewhat and they had no problem staying a little later than normal business hours until it got cleared up and I was on my way with my new firearm. I live over an hours drive from S3 Weaponworks but I plan on doing all of my business through them from now on when it comes to buying from a shop. The prices are very fair and they will take care of you.

First visit, upon entering the nearly empty and disgustingly dirty store, after 5 minutes I was greeted by a boy. I asked about cerekote and he went out back. Five minutes later he came back out front and told me someone would be out to help. 15 minutes later there was a man whispering with the boy and totally ignored me standing there. This place is a joke! Dont waste your time going to a gun store with no guns and zero customer service. If I could rate it a zero I would!!

I bought a .223 a couple months ago and I was very impressed,, especially for the price. Recently, I also had a lower receiver that I left with them for cerakote and even though John didnt have the obscure color I was looking for, he bought a bottle of it. The process ended up taking a few weeks-- I am still waiting on the upper receiver from another supplier so I cant even use the newly cerakoted lower yet and I tried to make sure it was clear I wasnt in a rush. When it wasnt finished the day John said it would be, he went very far out of his way to have it ready the next day, dropped the price and he even let me come in and watch him reassemble the lower receiver. The context and experience of seeing a professional re assemble a lower receiver alone was debatably worth the price I paid for the cerakote. He went out of his way to make good on his word despite the fact I was not in a rush and he definitely knows what hes talking about.** edit: upper finally came in and the cerakote seems to be matched flawlessley. Thanks again for everything, will definitely be back soon.

Owner is a very nice guy, prices seem to be about what you would pay on gunbroker or at KTP. Inventory not super extensive as they are still building up. It is great to see a new gunshop in town. Very laid back atmosphere and the owner did a great job cleaning up the shop. I do miss when Phil ran it, but those days are gone. Gripes are that it cost me $75 to ship a gun to another FFL. Was told that UPS charged him $55 and his fee was $20. I shouldve checked somewhere else first. My fault. My only other gripe (more of a pet peeve) is the owner uses the slide release on empty pistols to slam them back into battery instead of riding the slide closed. It has always seemed like poor etiquette to do with other peoples firearms. Its a cool place to visit if youre in the market for a new firearm or want to get into the NFA game, in a country that is quickly running out of actual gun shops you can walk into. Be ready Be vigilant!

These guys know their stuff. Tastefully and professionally done cerakote and laser stippling work. They also have their FFL 02/07, so if you need Class 3 gear, they can help. Lots of pre owned pistols to choose from. Their prices are also competitive and fair. My only suggestion, which I mentioned to John (the owner) would be to inquire with SilencerShop as to the ability to obtain one of their kiosks.Good luck to you guys!

The owner is doing a great job in bringing the store back to life. Inventory is coming back. He sells suppressors, Glocks (several varriations, some harder to find), and used guns as well. He does cerakote and sandblasting in the back, as well as most gunsmithing work on handguns and rifles.Absolutely recommend going here for all your firearm needs. He also does gun safety and training classes.
