Master Jackson teaches so much more than kicks and punches, he teaches self-discipline, self-confidence and the importance of believing in “I can.” Highly recommend him for all ages, including Cage Fitness adult class. He’s got so much enthusiasm and energy, it’s hard not to stay motivated. Thank you, Master Jackson!

We started out only signing my middle child up who is 4, we now have my oldest signed up who is 6 and myself doing the cage fitness class. Im truly impressed with the place. It offers something for everyone and master Jackson and Clay are amazing with the kiddos! Also I love having my kiddos involved in something the benefits them not just in staying active but in life. They are learning all kinds of good skill sets here from karate moves, discipline, kindness, to team work, and much more. The cage fitness class is amazing if youre like me looking for a good tough workout in a very uplifting encouraging environment! Ive never been to a place where everyone supports and encourages you the way this place does!!! I recommend this to all my friends and family! Its worth every penny!!!

As part of the Skillz program my self I have met and become good friends with Master Jackson, as you can read from many others, this is the best martial arts school in the area for your kids as they teach age specific martial arts training, where they focus on teaching with the brain in mind.Your kids will love this program , and so will you especially as you see your child gain fitness and more importantly the confidence to navigate the hard parts of life.The lesson they will learn will last their lifetime!!

My son and daughter have been going to this facility for a while and master Jackson is great. He teaches at age level so the kids can learn better. He makes it fun and enjoyable and he interacts with parents and all others that are there as well. He is a great teacher.

One of the best places I have ever worked out at! The people are amazing and make you feel comfortable and ready to workout. The classes are offered at different times of the day. The instructors are actually willing to help you set and reach goals. They truly care for all their people and after the first day, you can tell that! Master Jackson, Instructor Clay and the other instructors do an awesome job teaching marital arts and encouraging others. It is a real joy to know my son can come to a place where the instructors love what they do. Since Matthew started martial arts he has become more attentive and confident. The staff at Black Belt Leadership Academy are very courteous and professional. A considerable number of children attend karate training programs through Black Belt Leadership Academy; this alone is an incredible testament that shows just how well received their training methods are by children from ages three years old and up. Both of my daughters are enrolled here, and they gain so much more than just learning the fundamentals of karate. Master Jackson and Mr. Clay instill confidence, discipline, team-building, listening skills, as well as improving focus and attention of all those that participate in their classes. Karate class should not just be considered as an extra-curricular activity; it needs to be viewed as a life skill. This approach is put into practice by Master Jackson, Mr. Clay, and some of his older students how help to train the younger students. Black Belt Leadership Academy also participates in community outreach, everything from feeding needy families, to providing school supplies, and supporting the American Cancer Society through Relay For Life. You and your kids will gain a lot from attending classes here.

The Black Belt Leadership Academy is one of the best places Ive ever been too. I am now keeping up with the classes, running two miles after class! I love every moment I am at the academy and when i come in before my class for cage fitness begins I see the end of the other classes and see how amazing everybody there is as well as how happy the kids are to be there. Ive been coming to the academy since December 2016, love every moment and keep going every week. Way to go team!!! Very dedicated staff who make learning karate fun while still educating and teaching discipline and focus just to name a few things! Great for all ages and skill levels. Love the way the classes are structured so there is some peer to peer mentoring as well as instructors!

Our son began taking martial arts under Master Jeremy Jackson at Sanfords Black Belt Leadership Academy in January 2013 at just four years old. Master Jacksons youth program is phenomenal! In addition to Master Jacksons natural ability to engage and encourage children, his youth program promotes physical fitness, confidence, respect, and service to others. Hes a community leader and has created a compassionate and challenging community at his school. Our son, more than two and a half years into his study at BBLA, plans on continuing indefinitely. Many of our friends bring their children here as well and would echo our accolades for Master Jackson and Black Belt Leadership Academy.

Their Cage Fitness classes are awesome! Its a great high intensity workout that makes you work up quite a sweat!! Its not your average workout class. You not only get a physical workout, you get a mental workout using your agression to beating up a weighted bag! I definitely recommend taking one of their classes, especially if you want a challenging new kind of workout!

I cant say enough good things about Black Belt Leadership Academy. The CAGE Fitness class I am in is awesome. There is great encouragement to push beyond your comfort zone but there is no pressure to do more than you can. Highly recommend.

My daughter began at Black Belt 2 years ago and loves it. She is learning martial arts and gaining valuable understanding of herself and her values. Master Jackson is an excellent teacher, and I trust him to help my daughter develop to her fullest potential!

Wonderful school, wonderful instructors! Very family oriented with events throughout the year for the family. Not only are they teaching karate they are boosting confidence, promoting respect, and raising awareness of strangers and how to get away. My son has been in it almost 2 years now and absolutely loves it!

My son has a few disabilities and Master Jackson and his staff are awesome at handling him and keeping him focused! It good to see the warm way they teach kids and treat them all equally! The cage fitness classes for adults rocks also! Not a single bad thing to say about BBLA!!

This School is amazing! Master Jackson and his wife, Sensei Crystal Jackson are amazing! They offer so much for the entire family! The school continues to grow and offers a variety of classes, from martial arts to Cage Fitness to grappling. I cant say enough good things about this school and the people that work there!

I have posted a review before, but I felt I needed to review again! If I could give Blackbelt Leadership Academy more than 5 stars I definitely would! We just had Addis birthday party there and Master Jackson and Clay totally rocked it! Addison said it was the best party she has ever had! Not to mention all I had to do was show up with my kid and the cake :) I would highly recommend BBLA for a party anytime!!

My grandchildren have attended Black Belt Leadership​ Academy for a year. I have been so pleased​ with how much they have learned, both physically and mentally. The approaches that each instructor takes are both positive and self-esteem building. They teach the students how to be good to themselves and to others. BBLA even encourages helping the community, whenever possible, by showing how the smallest efforts made collectively can make a huge difference for so many. If you or anyone you know wants to be a part of something great, go by and meet with Master Jackson or Mr. Clay, you will be glad you did.

Our oldest has been participating in classes at BBLA for 2 1/2 years. Her personal growth and love for martial arts has grown leaps and bounds. With every new skill she learns more about her abilities and how to move past any limitations she thought she had. Mental, emotional, and physical development all wrapped together is what makes BBLA our familys home for Martial Arts.

Physical training with purpose. Master Jackson and his staff genuinely care for their students and every part of their life. They build confidence and character using martial arts. The personal (physical and leadership) development shows in the way my kids conduct themselves with their family and community. Our family values are positively reinforced with every class. Im glad we added BBLA to our schedule and made it karate at BBLA a priority. Placing my kids with BBLA has been the best extra curricula activity that we have done.

May 2016 I was told my daughter had an Audible Sensory Disorder and Speech Problems. My husband and I decided that in addition to Occupational and Speech Therapy it would be a good idea to enroll her in Karate. Little did I know that my timid and not able to communicate or follow directions well child would completely flourish at Blackbelt Leadership Academy. Karate was the missing piece in her life and participating in karate twice a week gave her a boost in her confidence and allowed her to learn how to follow directions and not to get so upset when she messes up. Before karate, my daughter would get incredibly worked up and upset if she felt that she did not do a task properly and would almost in a sense shut down. Overall, I have watched my daughter grow into one amazing child over the last year due to all the hard work of Master Jackson and Mr. Clay. Both of these instructors are extremely motivated and upbeat. Not to mention it is simply phenomenal on how well they can get down a small child’s comprehension level and make karate incredibly fun and a life skill learning opportunity. Karate is more than a sport; it is a life skill that teaches many skills needed in life. Master Jacksons motivation and upbeat wisdom not only instills good values into my daughter but his wisdom and life lessons also spread thru the family like wildfire. I feel like I have grown to become a more patient mother and happier individual by his wisdom that he shares via social media. It is now May 2017, and both of my daughters are attending Blackbelt Leadership Academy, and I am a very happy Karate Mom and very thankful that last May I decided to enroll my daughter in karate!
