Our child has been attending Allegro Music Academy for the past 2 years. Ms. Margaret is an exceptionally educated music professor with a unique style for teaching. We have appreciated her dedication, passion and commitment with our child but also observed the same devotion for other students. Anyone wanting to explore their music talents further, Allegro Music Academy is a wonderful first choice.

The worst place my daughter and I have ever been!!!!The pianist came without preparing at all for a session. We all knew about this session a week ago. Because of the pianist, we could not carry the rehearsal. Then the owner blamed my 12-year-old daughter straight to her face, who prepared very well. She missed rhythm, thats why the pianist could not do well. What type of teacher blames a kid when the fault is professionals. Extremely wrong and discouraging way to teach a kid(s).They were making excuses entire time saying that the pianist was doing the sight reading...... if she can do good by sight reading, its totally fine. But she cannot, she should be prepared the piece better before the rehearsal since they are getting paid$$Extremely unprofessional and the piano wasn’t tuned!!Giving them one star is too generous.

My son and daughter has been coming to Allegro since They were 8 and 4. They started out with the summer into to music program and then decided on violin and guitar. My son takes guitar lessons with Josh who is an amazing teacher and shares his love of guitar with his students. My daughter takes violin lessons with the director, Margaret Goreshnik who has Turned her into a violinist!Margaret is exacting with her students and parents, but she loves each one her students and cultivates a passion for excellence. We have been a part of the Allegro community for 4 years and have seen the fruition of hard work at the various recitals performed each year.

I dont know about the teachers there, but I would say avoid this school if you dont want to deal with the unprofessional director. The school director I talked to was quite rude. Her personality seemed to be negative and far from cheerful and optimistic, which I would value the most for anyone engaged in youth education. The other teachers might be wonderful like other reviewers say, but I would not send my child to the school which doesnt have an ideal director. Also, the lady has a really strong Russian accent and its hard to communicate with her.

My 3 children ages 8 and twins age 6 have been attending The Allegro MusicAcademy in Sarasota for the past 2 years taking violin and piano lessonsfrom school director Dr. Margaret Goreshnik. She is a highly qualifiedteacher, with only the best of intentions for her students. We drive 50 minutes each way from North Port twice a week to attendlessons with Ms. Margaret and the results we see in our childrens progressare amazing. As parents, we are honored to have our children trained withsomeone teaching from the rich Russian traditional school craft, that hasproduced highly professional violinists around the world and playing inmany symphony orchestras here and abroad. As we are at the school twice a week, I have the opportunity to see many ofthe other students learning music on various instruments from the staff ofprofessional teachers. We have also attended the recitals held twice peryear at the Academy and are always captivated by the performances.

We have been at Allegro for 2 years now. The level of instruction my child receives from Dr. Margaret Goreshnik is top notch. You simply cant find instruction of this level anywhere else in Sarasota. Many have commented on her being rude- and while its true that her personality takes some getting used to initially (old-school Russian / no nonsense), she truly has a heart for what she is doing and cares very much about her students. She doesnt care to waste her time teaching students who are not committed. So if you (or your child) are committed and wish to receive the best instruction in Sarasota, this is the place for you!

I am 64 years old and have been a student of Allegro Music Academy for about 1 1/2 years. I am learning to play the Classical Guitar from the ground up. My instructor is Josh Scheible. Excellent instructor. Youre never too old to learn how to play a musical instrument with the property lessons.

My daughter started taking violin lessons since she was 5. We started out with Suzuki method and stayed with it for 2 years. We switched to Allegro Music in 2013, and WOW! My daughter has progressed from a beginning musician to a mature violinist in the past years. She has gained confidence and skills, thanks to Dr. Margaret Goreshnik and her passion in music and dedication for her students. I wish we could have started out at Allegro sooner. This is the best place in Bradenton-Sarasota area for music instruction. Our journey with Allegro Music Academy has been truly AMAZING!

Ive been associated with the director Dr. Margaret Goreshnik for many years. She has proven to be a very effective teacher by providing the necessary tools and challenges to help me bring my musical skill level up exponentially.I also worked at Allegro Music Academy as the receptionist for a period of 2 years. During that time I personally witnessed many student and proficient musicians thrive and succeed, taking their music to the next level. I saw firsthand the benefits musical training can bring to people of all ages and abilities, and it starts with finding good teachers.Under Margarets direction I learned many sides of music education, becoming both proficient violinist and teacher, shedding bad musical habbits and gaining good ones, and even sharpening my skills as a businessman. My memory, dexterity, and mental balance improved. I learned more than just technique, I learned artistry in musicianship, and was even able to take the skills I learned and apply them to other fields. I am forever grateful that I was able to partake of such a fine school and to work with and among professional artists and musicians. Now I am not just a violinist but also a professional artist.Indeed... hard work, practice, and the proper attitude will help anyone reap the rewards of studying music.Kudos and thank you to Allegro and its fine staff.
