Randy is an amazing instructor. He makes sure no one is left behind. He is patient and very informative. He is hands down the most influential instructor that I have ever had! I would recommend that you take his class if you are planning on getting into real estate. I took his workshop and it was the best decision that I could have made. Although the workshop was long Randy kept it exciting and fun. The best part was how passionate Randy is to his students. At times I felt like I was listening to my dad. He was his true authentic self and I wouldnt have wanted it any other way.

**Take the review course with Randy** Though it was long, Randy has the talent of keeping his students on task and is able to break the information down in a way that it sticks. The following day I passed my school exam and proceeded to the state exam. I whole heartily believe that without taking that review course with Randy, I would not have passed either exams- it was money & time very well spent. Thank you Randy, without you, I do not think I would have continued pursuing my career in real estate. :)

Just passed my state exam today‼️ Passed the school exam this past Friday and basically did the state exam 5 days later and passed 🙌 Super excited for what’s to come. Livestream courses were the best way to go for me. I hate online modules or online classes in general I need someone to explain concepts to me not read them off a screen for 5 hours (which I took with “American realty academy” and couldn’t get through it sucked and was a waste of money) and the livestream ones were great because I was able to ask questions whenever I didn’t understand something.I was recommended the livestream courses by Kyle from the ASREB team over the phone, and he did an incredible job explaining the different options to me and really getting me to trust what they do at this school. It just honestly worked so well for me. Kyle even helped me get my girlfriend signed up for the 9 day fast track course. Shout out Kyle 👍I did the 6 week program of mon/we’d/thurs 6pm-1030pm. I was able to get off work, eat and get the classes done. There were many great instructors. Our classes were huge with 80-100 people and they never really left a question unanswered for me. If I did miss something it’s easy to contact any of them via email to ask.Randy’s workshop class (separate cost but a MUST) was the KEY and I feel like really helped me understand the concepts in ways I can understand. I recommend making flash cards of Randy’s slides too to help you study. Randy really was the MVP because he focuses on the exams and specific questions that he’s seen on it over the years. He makes the classes fun. He’s super experienced and just a legend! I know he’s retiring soon but he really helps so many people pass. Get in his class while you still can!!! Or if you’re lucky like we were, he’ll instruct some of your livestream classes too. Thanks for everything Randy 🙏🙏I also bought “Prep Agent” off a recommendation from a youtuber I mainly used that for it’s whole range of practice quizzes which I love because as soon as I got one right/wrong it told me why with an explanation. It also has video explanations of concepts, seminars and it’s great for beginners to pair with the ASREB classes. I took practice quiz after practice quiz along with studying the ASREB book and that made me pass.Overall, all of the instructors were willing to help and answer questions whenever someone had one. 7 weeks total for me and I’m just applying for my license now that i passed. Super relieved. This school did not disappoint!!!

I would like to take the time and say thank you to the Arizona School of Real Estate and Business. Even though we are currently going through uncertain times with Covid, I was able to sign up for the 9 day online zoom classes. The instructors -John, Patti and Randy did a wonderful job of covering the information in the chapters, providing examples and answering questions. They each created a safe, fun and engaging environment. I would also like to give a huge THANK YOU to both Patti and Randy. Patti for her very educational crammer session and teaching the virtual Instructor Q & A Session that I attended. “Randy’s workshop”, I can honestly tell you that Randy has a gift for teaching! Randy started his program at 8am and stayed with all of us until 9:30pm. If you want to pass the School test and the State test, please take Randy’s workshop.  During Randy’s workshop, he takes you through all the chapters and provides you with slides that illustrate the concepts, I especially enjoyed the slides on life estates! Randy truly cares about you passing, when he tells you “pens down”- just listen to what he says, take good notes and you will pass like I did.    Thank you again, couldn’t have done it without you!

Due to COVID, I am taking the online classes. THE WEBSITE IS A JOKE! The BIO Identifier never recognizes what I input & in having to reset multiple times. The site is very difficult to navigate. Right now Im stuck on a module I completed, it shows incomplete. I cant go back to take it again. I cant move on. Im just stuck. Calling for help is useless. No one answers. I sent an email no response. Fix the problems or give me my money back.

This is not a school Id recommend. You enroll in an online class and get videos of each unit. Fine. Then theres the unit tests. You take the test and miss questions but theres no explanation of the correct answer. Youre stuck trying to figure it out. With other online schools when you hit the wrong answer its explained to you! The math questions are explained in detail but not here! They leave you struggling to figure it out. But wait, theres more! At the end of all the units there are two review sessions. 100 questions each. Yeah, same as the unit tests. No answer key. No way of knowing WHY you got something wrong. No way of getting help with it either. Youre referred back to the book you bought that also doesnt have an answer key and nothing to help you figure anything out. And to be very specific math problems should be explained. Period! If you get a math problem wrong theres a reason for it. EXPLAIN the formula to get to the correct answer. I dont think my $600 for the 90 hour broker exam was worth it especially since I have to pay extra to take their final exam!

The staff here is not polite at all they treat you very badly even though you pay a good amount of money to be a student. I called a while back ago and I had an encounter with Vinny he is very demeaning and rude and it seems that the supervisor or manager and him are be good friends because she is also rude and she was defending him after I explained his attitude towards me. Honestly , I don’t know if he is still employed or not but he is representing this school very poorly.

If only I had known...I purchased the WAY overpriced online package and was told, in person that it was self paced and I would have all the time I needed to take the exam. I work in the healthcare field so this was a very important fact as COVID came along and slowed down any progress. Then the school cut me off saying that classes had to be completed in six months. Now they want more money to continue. Okay, move on to the school exam...which was included in the fee I was charged. But now I have to pay ProctorU as well, AND now the cost of the class has dropped by almost half, but they keep wanting more money from me. During a pandemic. I would highly recommend you research a different school. Believe me, this is the absolute briefest of comments, there is so much more but I see people have stated the problems in their comments.

Horrible. Rude. Condescending. Wasted my time.I purchased the real estate online course. I was at the very end of module 1 ( about 8 hours into the course) and the computer wouldnt let me complete the module and move on to module 2. I had taken the whole weekend off to continue the course. It was a Friday afternoon and I called to find out how I could get this technical glitch taken care of. They said there was nothing they could do and I would have to wait until Monday to talk to technical support. I ask to speak to a supervisor. I was transferred to the Glendale office Manager. I told her that I had a limited window and if they couldnt not fix it, I would rather get a refund so I could go take the course online with another school rather than waste the whole weekend.I was treated so poorly. She was rude and absurd. She agreed to give me a refund less $40 for module 1. Why did I have to pay for anything when it was their failing leading to this need for a refund. I asked if I could stay on the line while she processed the refund. She said, I dont intend to stay on the phone with you for 3 days. I said, what do you mean? It doesnt take 3 days to process a refund. It only takes a few minutes and it takes the bank a few days to get it all processed. After that, I asked for her name. She said her name was Jennifer. I ask for her last name. She wouldnt give it to me. I was dumbfounded. I told her I thought this was a professional organization and she was a manager and she wouldnt give me your last name. She said she didnt have to, because she wasnt a realtor.Well, lets just say, this was so unprofessional and poorly handled, I am happy to have paid $40 to never deal with this company again. They are a large company and to have a manager that would handle a customer like this is disgraceful. Most of us are trying to squeeze this in while working and caring for the family. All she had to say was, let me get this escalated next week and in the mean time we can set up a new account to get you back to taking module 2. Then we can consolidate the courses next week. Really, any compassion, humility or willingness to help out would have solved the problem.I also never received my book which I had paid for 10 days earlier. It was a horrible debacle of an experience.

I originally came to Arizona School of Real Estate in 1986 to acquire my Real Estate License. l took the two week crash course and had no problem getting my license. I was completely prepared. I had my license for 17 years until I let it expire. Now, 10 years later, I am getting my license again and have enrolled at The Arizona School of Real Estate. I am so impressed with the quality of education and local involvement of active Real Estate professionals. This is a well run, high quality school that anyone new or old to the profession should consider.

The price is right, class sizes are good, plenty of room to sit and the plenty of parking. However, my first day of orientation I was given incorrect handout which was outdated ( previous months schedules) when I approached the front staff and requested the new one they were clueless and couldnt find the updated handout. Most important I realized driving to Scottsdale in traffic each day isnt something I would want to do. So I reached out to the school again and the front office staff answered, the first time they put me on hold and end up hanging up twice. I called the following day, the same thing happened and when I called for the second time she apologized and put me on hold to transfer me to the Glendale location and after holding for 8 minutes she came back saying Stacy is on another call and that I need to call back. I didnt know I was holding for Stacy beside, I didnt mind holding. However they are always in a hurry and never helpful. So I requested to leave my information and asked if she can call me instead. Hoping I will get a call soon and or before my next classes. My advice to you is visit the school first and get your schedule in order so you wont need the front office staff or their assistance.

Ive been licensed in two other states and this is by far the most difficult method for learning. The 150 hour online course I had to complete for my Oregon Brokers license was 100x more effective at preparing me for an exam. The in-person classes here are for audible learners only. Only one instructor so far has used a visual aid. I have learned very, very little in class and have had to self teach myself at home outside of class. However, the book is not set up for self study- doesnt even contain the definitions of the vocabulary words that the instructors stress are important for you to know.It would be fantastic if they used more power point presentations, short videos, hands on, etc. This class IMO, is only good for clocking your required in-class hours. If you arent an audible learner, be prepared to completely self-teach yourself outside of class. And since the book isnt complete (like I was told it was) youll need to purchase CompuCram, and possibly the flashcards and dictionary, as well.Ive had several instructors so far and attended classes at two different locations (Gilbert and Scottsdale- both decent). Staff and instructors are friendly, however not all instructors seem knowledgeable in what they are teaching.Ive never felt less prepared for a test.

This school was a total waste of a lot of time and money. As both a realtor in Illinois AND a teacher, I found it very hard that everyone starts at different times. They should have classes with everyone on the same chapter. It is just like a book.. begin at the beginning, not come into a class at the middle of the program. Second, teachers ASSUMED you know how to do things.. every state is different..there were way too many people in the Scottsdale classes. When you test, you do not know what you get wrong. Other schools tell you.. its just like the old saying, how can you improve, if you do not know what you got wrong, so that you can study? I felt like I was chasing my tail.. Lastly.. there was one teacher there, who was WAY to cocky (just ask Mayor Kotch....) he was extremely RUDE to several people in every class he taught, in fact he even make one woman cry. He constantly put down people... if you are in a customer service profession you really need to treat others with more respect. I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend this school if you want to become a realtor.. there are other schools that my friends went to, and was successful. Most importantly, you charge $125/hr for tutoring.. THAT should be regulated by the Board of Realtors.. seriously???? If you really think about it.. most of us are taking classes during the day to get a better job.. you really THINK we have that kind of money? Think long and hard.. if you would have taught the classes the right way, we would not NEED tutoring...Especially the math. I will be recommending my friends go elsewhere.

After being licensed in two other states, Ive never felt less prepared for a test than this. The classes are disorganized. You have a different teacher every class, so the teaching method/style is different. When it came to taking the actual school exam, I was completely lost. I read the chapters, did the homework AND Im a licensed Realtor in two other states. When I failed the test and asked to see what sections I missed, so I could review those sections in more, I had to call THREE times for them to finally send it... They ended up sending me my results two hours before my next scheduled exam. This school does not care if you pass the test or not. I would recommend finding another accredited school as this was a major disappointment.

This is an unsolicited testimonial from a very happy former student. The Arizona School of Real Estate and Business (ASREB) is the largest school of its kind in the state and one of the largest in the nation. Over 100 instructors and a blue million course options on a packed class calendar in residential and commercial real estate, appraisal, mortgage, home inspection, contracting and insurance. Classes are taught on 4+ campuses all over the state and Valley. Well organized and the school administrators host industry events which expose you to jobs after you are licensed. Take the negative reviews here with a grain of salt; sometimes people just cant pass exams and they come back here to complain on Google. This school has the respect of brokers all over Arizona and they return to get CE credits here. If you doubt the demand for the ASREB classes, just drive by their headquarters and parking garage in Old Town Scottsdale on any weekday and try to find a parking space. I have no business affiliation with this company, I only attended as a student.
