Scottsdale ATP location gets an easy 5 stars from me. I would give ATP as a whole somewhere between 3.5 and 4 stars. I really enjoyed the Scottsdale location as it was much smaller than the Mesa-Gateway location and it allowed for a better connection with other students and instructors. I personally had just about every student and instructors phone number who was associated with Scottsdale and I know people who attend a larger ATP have very little connection and poor sense of camaraderie.As far as the program goes it is hard but very doable as long as you stay focused and committed. I completed the program in 9 months and 15 days during Covid with lockdowns, getting sick, and taking several weeks off.Overall I enjoyed ATP as it allowed me to get all my ratings in 9 months. They have a fantastic selection of DPE’s (designated pilot examiner), good instructors, an easy to finance program, and their aircraft are some of the nicest you can find.

The instructors and staff at the KSDL location are second to none. I accomplished everything that was promised, in the advertised time frame. If you are prepared to work hard and commit to the process, youll find that same here.

Why do you hide your flight details on flight tracking apps. Why when asked are you not a good neighbor to those residents below who you insist on annoying. Not good

This school is a total rip-off . They will take you as student and fly you few hours and then get rid of you after they take your money, leaving you in a debt of 30k .Discrimination is common in ATP .watch out. Thank god i have stopped at least 10 of my friends from joining this ridiculously high priced flight school.Update: yes you have 35years of ripping people off.. karma will pay back oneday

There are so many concerns, atp owner. This school terminated me few months ago. even though i was one of the few students who stayed in and studied and worked hard and practiced many hours on sim. You may ask mr andrew about it. I really loved the school. There wasnt any way i was thinking that i will be terminated from the program right few weeks before checkride. Mr josh always emphasized how the school works to make us a great pilot, i always believed him. He said in meetings that atp is always there to help. But when it came to me, i wasnt to their satisfaction even though I passed my evals. I would have been a CFi for this school by now if i wasnt terminated. Other than that , school maintained planes well. And most of instructors always helped when i had questions

Hands down, one of the most poorly organised and ill-trained pilot training centres (the instructors are the worst) Ive ever known - BTW, this company has headquarters in FL, and they are listed as INACTIVE on the FL Secretary of State corporate filings - that should give anyone pause - if youre illegal and not filing the REQUIRED corporate filings with your home state, I dont personally want to be associated with an organisation that breaks the law. AWFUL people, terrible corporate structure, and wilfully ignorant and negligent with both the Federal, state and local rules and regs, especially in the State of AZ. RUN.
