Sawyer Aviation is a well known flight school in Arizona which was highly recommended to me by friends and family who attended and have since moved on from their private license to careers in commercial. One friend currently in Kazakhstan and the other flying over Cabo. This school provides ease of access, multiple payment plans, and a career opportunity that can move you out of an office and into the sky. They are also well connected in the valley and provide great recommendations for certification and equipment. Thank you and excited to be with Sawyer!

I am a professional pilot and I was doing some airplane add-on training at Sawyer. I had flown about 15-20 hours and everything was good. At the same time that my instructor left, I also got very busy with work and I didn’t fly at Sawyer for a year. I had $15,000 prepaid on my account when I left. When I called to schedule a flight, Sawyer informed me that my $15,000 had “expired” and that I needed to put more money on account. Sure enough, I looked at MY prepaid account online and they had a $15,000 transaction where they pulled all my money from my account which they did not provide any services for. Needless to say, I won’t be going back, and would not recommend any of my colleagues do transition training here.

Absolute top notch training! Paul was thorough and very professional and took his job seriously while being very calm and friendly making it so easy to do what he was asking me to do. The type of instructor youd love to have along for the flight even if you didnt have to.

A few scheduling issues here for a discovery flight but overall a impressive location. Highly recommend considering them for flight training and visiting their location.

Awesome experience!! Incredibly helpful and super fun. I took my 8 yr old son and Paul was our pilot and instructor. He was super friendly and really enjoyable to be in the air with. Couldnt have asked for a better pilot. I highly recommend doing this for the education and the fun. Good knowledge and worth every penny for all ages.

Paul Redman, Sawyer Aviation chief pilot, did a great job administering my BFR yesterday. He taught a number of things making the time useful, and had a very gentle and friendly approach that put me at ease for the two hour ground and air portion. I can heartedly recommend him to anyone else needing a BFR in the future.

We just did the explorer flight to Sedona with instructor Sean Cassidy and it was nothing short of incredible. Would highly recommend.

After checking out a few schools, Sawyer is very reasonably priced, honest about the requirements, and has a great facility and aircraft. Jared and Cody are very professional and know their stuff, and the structured instruction is very good, teaching you exactly what you need to know, unlike some other schools that kind of just throw a bunch of information at you and dont explain it very well. They also offer financing, unlike most of the other smaller schools. Very happy with my decision to train at Sawyer. (Also very good about scheduling, they were able to take me up same day when I did my discovery flight when all of the other schools told me they were booked for days or weeks).

Great experience. I was on very short time line and chose Sawyer to knock out my Multi engine rating. The school is is well run, the Aircraft are all in great shape and Carl May is an outstanding Instructor. One of the best Ive had the pleasure of flying with.

Victor at Sawyer Aviation really knows what hes doing. I went here for the Captain Discovery flight, and it was just awesome. He walks you through everything you need to know and makes sure you feel comfortable sitting behind the controls. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who wants to learn how to fly, or even who just wants to have the chance to fly once. If the time comes to continue and get my private license I will definitely choose Sawyer.

I finally got to do whats always been a dream of mine -- pilot a plane. I had a flight lesson at Sawyer Aviation in Scottsdale, and the experience could not have been more perfect. Mike Vasta was particularly kind, instructive, and encouraging. I cant wait to go back!

Very impressed! Clean facility, friendly staff, new aircraft and knowledgable instructors! My girlfriend surprised me with an Introductory flight package to Sedona, we had such a great time. I will definitely be back. Top notch school!!!

Had an awesome time. Lauren was very knowledgable and friendly. Me and my wife flew together with Lauren in the Cessna 172 analog cockpit. Not as cool as the g1000 but to just be flying was cool enough to me. My wife got this for me for my birthday thru living social and allot of the deals thru living social are so much easier to use than sucky groupon. All around a great experience and has inspired me to may consider a private pilots lic. Thanks again sawyer for a good and safe time!
