I am typically not a fan of franchises as they pertain to children activities, however, the Premier Martial Arts on Pinnacle Peak and Pima is exceptional! Mr. Bravo and Ms. Marie are not only masters of their crafts, they are also FANTASTIC with the kids. They have seemingly endless patience, yet they are able to command appropriate attention from the students without being harsh, condescending, or intimidating. I’m now a franchise convert in this instance because PMA’s curriculum not only teaches multiple disciplines of martial arts, but they also teach manners, morals, and values that are lacking in today’s society. My 7 and 4 year old kiddos are always excited to go and participate. This is such a positive place to learn and grow. I can’t say enough good things about this establishment and the Bravos. This place is amazing! My son (6 years) hates all sports and is not into anything physical. He also is pretty emotional and has a temper. I feel like this class is REALLY good for him. From self control to discipline and respect for himself and others the class teaches physical fitness and good values. There are places closer to my house and cheaper but the instructors here are engaging and make the class fun. I have never seen my kid laugh and enjoy any sporting activity before! It’s the best! This place is seriously for everyone. He is motivated to get his black belt and I am excited to see his journey. I would definitely recommend if you are on the fence.

We love Mr. Bravo and Ms. Marie! My son Kaman is 3 1/2 and started in January and he still loves it here! I say it all the time and I’ll say it here, I feel like every kid should be enrolled in karate with how much it teaches them! From discipline and focus to just being active and learning new karate moves, the amount of learning is endless.Even through the Covid-19 pandemic and stay at home orders... we are able to do live classes online and the teachers are great at it! It’s hard to keep kids focused on Zoom, but they manage to do it quite well! We love being a part of Premier Martial Arts Scottsdale and can’t wait to get back to everyone in person!

David Bravo is amazing! We have been going to premier martial arts Scottsdale since September of 2018. Our son is 6 years old and on the autism spectrum. We have private lessons twice a week. My sons ability to attend and follow instructions in general has improved drastically since we began. He is firm but kind, so my son is very receptive to his instruction. We absolutely love premier martial arts Scottsdale.

My daughter has been practicing with Mr. Bravo at Premier Martial Arts Scottsdale for over 2 years now and I cant imagine a better studio for her to go to. Mr. Bravo is incredibly supportive and motivating for all of his students. What I love the most about her coming here is the self esteem and positive character traits she is developing working with him. Plus, she always has a great time working out with him and the other students.

It’s a wonderful Martial Arts School that not only focuses on training for Black Belt by memorizing moves, but Mr. Bravo explains why certain moves are important and how they apply in real life situations. It’s a great Self Defense training while allowing you to earn your Black Belt. Our teenager is just a beginner but is already very motivated and eager to learn more. Great for beginners and experienced individuals. Also fun for the whole family.

Great experience! Mr Bravo is very motivating. His martial arts practice inspires many different areas - physically (body workout) but yet emotionally (self confidence) And spiritually ( teaching about morals )We have had excellent experiences over the past 5 years .

We love Premier Martial Arts and Mr. Bravo is an excellent instructor. My kids look forward to his classes because he makes them fun while teaching them the fundamentals of discipline, listening, respect, courtesy and just having a positive attitude overall. We enjoy watching them learn and work their way up to becoming black belts one day. It’s an activity that young kids can really learn from and use the skills they’ve learned into their teen/adult years. We’re so glad we got them started at such a young age.

Our family has been training here over the past six years. Excellent instruction including character building and healthy living. Developmentally appropriate, respectful and fun for young children as well as the older ones. One of the few places where the entire family is encouraged to train together, creates a completely different experience than just putting kids in a class. Even offers free Kids Safe and Anti-Bully programs regularly. Best activity weve enrolled in!!

We love Premier Martial Arts. Our son has been a part of the program for 3.5 years. He has learned numerous life skills as well as physical skills to defend himself. He is gaining body awareness and strength. He learns valuable lessons on health, physical fitness, moral, ethical behavior. He thoroughly enjoys the program and strives to excel.

My son Ethan started at Premier Martial arts when he was in preschool and loved it so much we decided to have him continue through kindergarten. He is so excited to go and has learned so much. He responds so well to the teaching method Mr. Bravo uses. He has learned manners, life skills, self defense and this list goes on. It is so nice to have my son in an activity that he genuinely loves and works so hard at. I’m very proud of him.

Both of my sons love taking karate classes at Premier. The classes are fun and different every week. Mr. Bravo and Emily are great instructors and really have a passion for the sport! Every class has a Character lesson before the karate skills are taught. Great place for the kids to have fun AND learn morals, discipline and respect. The studio is also clean and friendly.

My 5 year old daughter just started at Premier Martial Arts Scottsdale few weeks ago and loves it. Dave is a great instructor and really engages my child on her level. In addition to the physical moves, she is learning self discipline, respect and self control. I believe that this training will benefit her in so many important ways for years to come. My daughters began their martial arts training six years ago, at the age of 4, with Premier Martial Arts in Scottsdale. They have thoroughly enjoyed the experience while at the same time, developing self-discipline and confidence.Their school report cards always indicate exemplary respect directed at the teachers and staff. Team coaches have stated that my daughters are very coachable due to the fact that they listen to the coach with their full attention, making eye contact and standing still while direction is given.
