We have very happy to have found WIS and for the opportunity for our son to learn Mandarin. Our son has been attending WIS for the last 4 months and it has been an amazing experience. His teachers are very caring and compassionate, making it a smooth transition for him and updating us daily on his progress. He has already started speaking a couple of words in Mandarin at home.We enjoy that the classrooms are very clean and that the kids wear separate shoes indoor than outdoor. There is ample indoor learning opportunities and outdoor play equipment for exploring. They provide lunches and snacks, which makes getting out the door in the morning seamless. We only have to provide a few additional items such as diapers, wipes, drinking cup, and blanket for nap time. Our son has really enjoyed the additional tumbling and music classes that they offer.Schedule flexibility has been very helpful. They provide before and after school care as well as summer school hours. They make adjusting schedules for summer and vacations seamless as well. We look forward to staying with WIS for years to come.

My son attended WIS as soon as we moved to Shoreline area, for a year before Kindergarten; and then my daughter attend this school since she just turn 2 years old until now shes ready for Kindergarten.I love WIS flexible schedule and tuition scales, they are so easy to follow and dont waste any money - we can customize the schedule to our own needs. I have changed my daughters schedule multiple times throughout these years, according to the change of my jobs and working schedules, all were easy and went very smoothly. I especially like that I can add extra days or add early/late pickup with just one week advance notice, this save us so many time!My daughter seems very happy every day after school, shes humming Chinese songs all the time, and taught us how to count in Chinese. She just had a Kindergarten assessment at our neighbor elementary school, and the elementary teacher commented WIS teachers did a great job!WIS provides lunch and snacks, which eliminate one of my hassle after work. They also offer nap time, which is very important to developing brains. Teachers are very friendly and loving, they always try their best to accommodate parents requests. I would definitely go back to WIS if I have a 3rd kids :)

WIS has been a wonderful experience for my younger daughter these past couple years. She has attended from 2.5 to 4.5 years old, and in that timeframe, she has learned so much in both Mandarin and English. Within a couple weeks of starting at the school, she was already singing Mandarin songs when she had not been speaking any Mandarin at home.Compared to other preschools I have experienced, what I have heard from other parents at different schools, WIS provides a lot more for your money. I have been very grateful that they provide lunch for the children, along with snacks. All I need to bring for her is a cup and water bottle and they provide the rest. There has been complaints about all the rules, but I didnt mind since they were easy for me to follow - and the routine did not take long to get used to. I also appreciated that having the indoor shoes allowed the floors to be much cleaner. The tuition chart can be confusing at first, but no other school allows you to pay a prorated tuition when you go on vacation (even with the additional fee for schedule changes, we have saved a lot of money this way), nor do other schools let you customize their school schedules to this level. This I have appreciated immensely, as my work schedule may change from month to month.WIS does have a good amount of academics: Chinese writing worksheets, math worksheets. This has been great for my daughter since she loves doing them. But this may not be for everyone. They do also have plenty of toys, a clean classroom, and outdoor playground so they have plenty of opportunities to play.My daughter loves her teachers, and they are very caring and attentive to her. They have even customized her learning based on her level. She has enjoyed the additional classes that are offered for an additional fee (music, Tumblebus, art). We have certainly had a great two years at this school!
