I came in for a trial only to be disappointed by the attitude of the main instructor. I came in very humble and wanted to add some new skills to my prior martial art knowledge. I accidentally came into the advanced class on cedar crest after accidentally calling the Bethlehem location earlier that day about a trial class. After coming into the wrong class I asked if I could still join due to having experience in the past. The issue wasnt that I was declined. The issue was after the instructor asked me more in depth about my training he totally brushed me off and didnt say another word besides that I was allowed to watch. He didnt ask my name, my age, or what I would like to get from his school. Didnt even introduce himself or his curriculum to me. When class was over he wouldnt even tell me the time slot for the next class. he forced me to scan a qr code and find it myself... when I wanted to schedule a specific day with him... worst part is one of his students came up to me stating that the main instructor was a champion and that if I came in blabbing my mouth about my past experiences (which I wasnt), that he would boot me out and not say another word to me. Honestly I dont know what to say. Ive done mma for almost 11 years. Ive done plenty of jui juitsu in my training however I wanted to learn from a school that specialized in it. After hearing much about this school I wanted to train. But after coming in today. I wouldnt even train if they paid me.

The head instructor just competed in the Olympics of Jiu Jitsu and finished in fourth (ADCC 2019). Jon was also the first 185lb Combat Jiu Jitsu worlds champion. Jon “Thor” Blank is easily one of the best practitioners in the world and is a great teacher. Couldn’t recommend this place, Laura, and Thor more. I was visiting from out of town for an open mat and Jon Blank was extremely welcoming. There were people of all sizes and skill levels and everyone had a good attitude. The location took sanitation very seriously and the facility was well maintained. I would highly recommend stopping in and checking out if you are in the area.

I was looking for a jiu jitsu school close by to me and fell upon 10th planet jiu jitsu. I didnt know what to expect so I signed up and since then its been nothing but a great commitment. Jon Blank is a phenomenal teacher who is extremely knowledgeable and talented. Everybody who trains at 10th planet is very humble and helpful. You are treated like family and there are no egos. Doesnt matter if your male, female or your age or experience level. Jon does a great job at catering to your needs according to the pace at which you comprehend what hes teaching. Very easy going and adamant about making sure you make progress in your journey. If youre looking a the perfect environment to train and learn jiu jitsu then 10th planet Allentown is where its at. Ive been here for 5 months and I wouldnt train anywhere else. I even signed up my kids as well.

He is also a great teacher, he has a knack for breaking down technique in a way that is both easy to understand and detailed. People there are very friendly and encouraging to begginers.
