Today may 28th 2021 I caught a teacher pushing a toddler’s head many times! I screen recorded it, contacted the center, and sent them the video. A few minutes later , they called me saying that I was not authorized to record the cameras instead of resolving the issue. And after that the lady wanted to convince me that the time on camera runs differently, and the teacher wasn’t pushing his head, when I clearly saw the teacher pushing this kid head not once but many times! I really want to find out who are this little boy parents so I can send them the video! Altamonte Springs Unit , toddlers room! We are not bringing our daughter back to this place.

My daughter attended here a few months until COVID started. One day she came home and told me her teacher smacked her on her but really hard and she started crying. I asked my daughter why did this happen and she told me because she was crying. I messaged the teacher and she told me my daughter was upset that day but that incident never happened and maybe my daughter was confusing the timing. I called the director Mary and asked her to look into it and give me a callback. She never called me back. At the time I was not sure if this really happened or maybe my daughter misunderstood the situation so I wasn’t sure how to go about it. It’s now months later and she tells me the SAME exact story, how it happened, where it happened and why it happened. Kids don’t remember lies and now I really feel like my daughter was mistreated. The teacher would reach out to me daily and tell me how well she did and never mentioned any issues other than her crying for me sometimes. This was my daughters first time attending daycare and it was really hard for her to see me leave in the morning, so she would start to cry for a little. No other issues brought to my attention. She was not a problem child, even so there is no reason whatsoever for a teacher to put their hands on someone’s child. I’m very disappointed this happened and how it was handled. This school had great reviews and ratings, for my daughter to come home to me crying saying her teacher hit her. I would not recommend this school for anyone!!!!

The staff here is amazing. My baby began attending at 3 months and Im so grateful for the care and attention these ladies provide. They are genuinely loving. Mary runs this daycare and she is very good at what she does. I couldnt have picked a better place.

My experience with this school and staff have been great. My son has been here since he was 6 months old and is almost 4 now. I feel very confident that he is being taken care of and learning a lot. I would highly recommend this daycare

I am very particular about where I leave my two year old son. This place is awesome and the staff amazing. I am very happy I chose La Petite Academy. My son loves going there and is making such progress. I never have an issue leaving him behind because he is always so will to stay. Thank you Mary for running such a great establishment with loving teachers. You have exceeded my expectations 110%.Jonahs mom :)

I have two children that attend La Petite full time plus a 3rd who attends during summer time (school age). What can I say about this facility? It is the best. I trust the teachers there and feel confident my children are safe and in good hands. I am very comfortable with the staff and everyone there is extremely caring; they truly love their work and the kids they care for. That is very hard to find in a day care. I am so happy and thankful that I have such wonderful caregivers for my children. Location is great, hours are good but most of all the staff is what makes it wonderful. These individuals all work extremely hard to take care of each and every child making them feel special and loved. If you are looking for a great day care I would highly recommend La Petite in Altamonte Springs.

Do not take your kids here. This location should be shut down. Kids are treated horribly. Horrible experience.

My son was almost 2 when we started looking for a daycare for him. We had tours scheduled at two different daycares and we ended up choosing this one. The directors are amazing. We felt so welcomed during our tour, there was no way we would choose any other school. Within the first week, the teachers knew us by name. My son is now 4 1/2 and he loves it here. His teachers are all amazing! They all really care about each child. I recommend this facility whenever I get a chance. I truly love it here.

I do no recommend this vpk or daycare facility. I took my son here for over a year. He would constantly come home with scratches and bruises from other kids hitting him. Seems like they just let kids wander and do whatever they want. My husband seen staff members screaming at kids (even told them if you cant work with kids you shouldt be here). If you work with kids you need patience- not to be screaming at them. Director is not welcoming, looks miserable everyday like she hates her job. No communication whatsoever only when it comes to paying your tuition. Friday was my sons last day and due to lack of communication from the staff/schools end we missed his graduation. They decided to change the time without sending a 2nd mailer out, or sending a message through the app. Sad this is once in a lifetime shows how much they care about the kids.

I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a wonderful place for their children to learn and grow. The staff is amazing . Miss Mary , Miss Stephanie , along with thr rest of the staff are terrific with the children and truly care💓 it has been such a blessing !!! 5 stars isnt enough

My son has been attending here since he was around 9 months old, he is 7 years old now. Staff is excellent!

After 6 months home it was time for me to return to work and we loved La Petite when we went and looked at it. We wanted to send our son there and asked if they would allow us to use cloth diapers. We have been successfully cloth diapering since he was 5 weeks old and had 2 other area daycares say it was fine. The Director said she had to look into it and to check back a few days later. When I went back in she told me they couldnt because of State Regulations. Honestly I was very upset because I pulled State Regulations, they allow daycares to use cloth diapers. I felt it was her way of saying we dont want to use them, and was shocked she lied to me regarding regulations. Overall we ended up with another daycare that allows us to use cloth diapers.
