Zero stars. would give negative if I could. Dr. Tim thinks hes funny, but he is highly unprofessional and tells the students things that are patently false and unsafe. My kid had to re-learn a lot of bad habits they picked up in this class. Tim is a minister and talks about religious topics during the in-car driving sessions. Inconsistent mask wearing and lax covid protocols. Called the office, filed a complaint, and nothing happened. AND the instructor is the Tim Wise listed in Google reviews giving himself 5 stars. What a joke. Go elsewhere.

Do not go here!! They had the wrong information on my daughters account. She pointed out THE FIRST DAY that her name was wrong. She reminded Dr. Tim (not sure what he thinks he is a doctor of) before her test that HER NAME WAS WRONG. Wouldnt you know, after she passed her test, documentation had the wrong name. Trying to fix it, they didnt care. We wound up having to drive from Ann Arbor to Royal Oak to pick up her certificate so she could take her drivers test. Very, very disorganized. The woman who answered the phone couldnt care less about anything going on. Very disappointed with this company.

This place is terrible. First off, before the class even started, they moved the class sessions back a full week without letting anybody know until a couple of days before they started. Secondly, it was a pain to schedule drives. They hardly had any posted on their website, and with many students learning, slots filled up quickly. Also, they kept changing my instructors, which was frustrating because I would have to start from drive one every time I had a new instructor. Lastly, after all of my drives and observations, I had to drive two hours just to get a certificate that they could write after you finish. I do not recommend this place.

I sign up for the class a week ago, Assume they start on the 13 no communication. I was contact by the instructor when we arrived to inform us from the owner that we will have two times to get your student in from 8-10 or 10-12. Get a call today stating we have to move your date to the 26 of June. When I ask the receptionist yesterday what time on Monday and she inform me 10am on the 15. No email at all and I check my spam as well. I really thought that this was a good program reference from many. Everyone was upset yesterday.When I sign up for the class there where still available spot. I will like to be contacted by the owner because I feel this is not right and he should be informed.

My children went through this company. They fully enjoyed it. Dr. Tim was their classroom teacher as well as their BTW instructor. They really liked him. I was very impressed with the seriousness that they take in teaching my children. Yes, I would recommend Official Driving School Ann Arbor location .

This is a great place to take your teens. (Ann Arbor) Very understanding and well qualified teachers. Easy and safe location. The owner is a great person and loves what he does.

My son took drivers ed. here. Sears did an outstanding job teaching the kids the laws, increasing initial confidence behind a wheel on city streets. Everyone at Sears was professional, responsive, and overall we were very pleased. There is nothing negative to report from our experiences here.

Registration took over an hour, and was very disorganized. Nobody knew where to go or what line to get in.Why not allow payment online? Why not allow us to have the student bring proof of age, instead of a parent waiting in line for an hour? Why not send a confirmation e-mail of registration, instead of using snail mail and having it get lost (if it was ever actually sent)?And then the class starts, and the instructor starts going on and on about respect for authority and his personal value system... I thought this was a class on how to drive, not a class by the gym coach from the Wonder Years on values.Very disappointed in this poorly organized class with material that seems to have been last updated in 1952.
