Very welcoming atmosphere to any beginner! The trainers and the students both took time to personally encourage and coach me. There’s a good mixture of very advanced students here as well as newbies. The perfect place to begin or continue training!

Rio is owned and operated by people with lots of experience in BJJ. Incredibly welcoming space, especially for women. Everyone is treated as equals and everyone helps each other get better. The best gym filled with even better people.

Two black belt instructors directly from the source Rio De Janeiro Brazil. Both of which are fantastic at breaking complex moves into simple and easy to understand incremental steps. And maybe just as important two of the nicest people youll ever meet.

Great place to learn, super patient coaches, relaxed atmosphere. Above and beyond that, they were great with my kids who wanted to start learning (2.5 yo, 4 yo). Joao, Ze, and Vanessa are awesome!
