Ive been here for almost 4 years and I have to say the amount of professionalism that comes from the instructors is astounding. Everyone who helps in the dojo gives it their all because they care about the environment and the students. They teach anyone and they make everyone feel welcome whether theyve been there or they are new. The head instructor cares about making his students strong. This way you arent just strong during a workout but strong in everyday life. If I hadnt joined and stayed when it got tough I wouldnt be the person I am today. Whether youre interested or youve been to a dojo before this is a place for everyone.

Shihan Burnell is an excellent instructor. He is well-versed in the martial arts as well as other forms of self defense. You will receive a great workout, no matter what classes you take. One of Shihan Burnells many strengths is working with kids and teaching them discipline and respect. He strives to promote a family atmosphere.

Its a place where Ive learned self discipline and pride and more than I thought I was capable of. For me, it isnt just a school. Its a place where we are family . My Shehan and Sensei are not just instructors, they are mentors. LinzieKarate has taught my granddaughter confidence, respect, pride and raised her self esteem. Her Shehan and Sensei have become great mentors. She truely looks up to them. When she started here 6 months ago, she was shy and very unsure of herself. Not today. Shes transformed. She works hard. Within her first 3 months she competed in her first tournament and has continued moving forward with all she has. Its the environment here that encourages her and instills her hunger for learning.This Dojo has become a second home for both of us. A family. Every student is taught in a way they learn with one on one attention given to each student. In addition to class instruction. Students learn at different levels and here they teach the student.
