Love this place! Can occasionally find some really great deals; and if you watch what you buy, you can save tons of money shopping here. This is the only store I will buy milk from, because Ive bought milk at just about every other store out there and it all tastes like water in comparison. The only downer is that lately, theyve been cycling through new workers left and right at this location, and it makes for longer lines and more mistakes when constantly bringing in new hires. It seems that all the worker who weve grown to know and love have all disappeared🤔

Now that cashiers no longer help bag your groceries when using your own reusable bags it takes me a lot longer to bag my groceries. I learned not to pay for my groceries until Im finished bagging or the cashier will start ringing up the customer behind me even though my groceries are still all on the counter. It makes me feel rushed when I pay before my items are all bagged, so I take my time. I wish they would go back to bagging our groceries again. I know its due to Covid, but the clerks dont even where their masks over their faces anyway. Theyre just tucked under their chins.

99 cents and up store at least half the store is over $1.99. When are they going to change name! Service at this location needs to be upgraded with customer service and not make it a hang out zone.

I am so lucky to have this store close by.The have amazing produce and grocery department. They have a great seasonal department for every season and holiday. I just made the most amazing Easter Baskets for my grandchildren. Every holiday this is the main place I shop for decorations, cute costumes, prizes and even gifts.This place is the place to go to first before you go to another stores because you dont know what youll find! And whatever you find most likely be waaaaay better priced here.The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 is most the time theres really long lines. And I dont like you cant wheel your shopping cart to your car. One time a lady tried to steal my bags when I was making my first trip to my car. When I yelled at her to return my bags, she did! So be careful in the parking lot.Other than that, this is an amazing store with friendly staff, great staff and selectioms!

They had only ONE check out open !!! Took so long to check out☹ they should have at least 2 open, otherwise alls good, clean ,well stocked ...PLEASE MORE CHECKERS 😔😒🙄

Yo I go to this place every time I get some money cause you know imma a little kid but still I like walking to this store to get snacks and stuff and probably now on, imma start getting snacks for school when they open at 7AM.

Had a good assortment of graduation decorations small gifts and balloons and some beautiful bouquets of flowers

Make sure you bring your own bags. Been here several times and they have no bags for your purchase.

Bad customer service and cashiers mad like turtles and rude especially Alejandro .

I like the one I went to on Apple valley on highway 18 their freezer for ice there must have been five doors others only have one or two doors of ice they have plenty ice thats for sure I know where to go now for ice cuz all the other ones always gone they only have a small freezer this store has the big long freezer with ice no disappointment here

Always clean, stocked, and the cashiers are nice.

They had what I was looking for, and they even had nice looking vegetables, and food.

The lines are FAST ! 99¢ employees always have a great Attitude . All their salads, fruits,and vegetables are always fresh. UP TO DATE MERCHANDISE TOO

Lots of produce. Good prices. Youve got to pay close attention to the prices. Not everything is 99 cents. They had what I was looking for. No-one in line. Quick in and out.

It used to be alot friendlier and Im a quick person and l buy alot and bag my own and Im alwats being rushed out to where i end up throwing it in basket and bagging it outside. Yes I can see lets keep it moving, long lines but every time I shop. Alot of employees are gone that used to be friendly, efficient & quick. Not all of them are but more then before. And yes were ALL dealing with ALOT, but almost every time i shop at evenings & nite it happens. I shop at least 3× a week with 3 to 4 bags each time. But Ill still shop there.Just saying. I wanted to edit my comment as I had some more time then just a simple one line comment.A decent amount of items to choose from. This is my entire familys favorite store to shop by near our house. The wait time is never too long. We always find what we came in for plus anywhere from 20 to 100 other items hehe. From dog food, to tomatoes, to a birthday card and even a rug for the floor. We get everything here. Albertsons is nearby for a grocery store but expensive. Walmart does not have nearly the selection 99 cent store has for the Frozen and refrigerator section. 99 really has everything we always need. Plus you can get some really really good deals when they come for gluten free food and vegetarian food which some people in the household are and its always at least a fifth of the price cheaper here than going to the grocery store.The only one thing I have a concern about is the expired food at the 99 cent store. I have brought home some stale or moldy bread, expired food from say about a month ago onions that are dried up in a bag theres definitely been some items, but maybe 2 out of 100 of the items Ive purchased are bad when I get them home. Just throwing out a number there to let you know it is rare. Ive asked the manager before in the past and they told me that they were told they can still legally sell food past 3 months. So I do check the dates on a lot of items when I buy them. Most of them are all good. But Ive even done pick up orders from Walmart and theres moldy potatoes in the bag etc so I know things happen and we are all human. Everything would be a five star except for the fact that they are allowed to sell expired food up to 3 months. That I just wish would change so I dont have to spend so much time looking over the cans, the produce, the bread etc so long but it really is rare that I get something thats not good from there. Its convenient right down the street and I can even pick up items say that are $7 at Walmart and its only a dollar at the 99 cent store. The family is the same as me, its our favorite place to go as we live on Highway 18 and Mandan. also if the lines start getting along because somebody like me has a dollar or our last trip I had 175 worth of items, I let people go in front of me with a few items, and then I start putting everything up, they wring it up and before you know it theres a lot of people in line. Right away they open up another register. I will tell you thats one thing they definitely have over Walmart as you can stand there for a very long time and they never seem to open up other registers. The 99 cent store instantly will do that to keep the lines moving and the customers happy. Years of great service so far and Im sure for the rest of our lives.

Positive - the store has a wide range of things.Negative - just because the items have 99 in the price doesnt make it a 99 cent store...$1.99 , $2.99 $5.99 etc etc.** majority of people that see a store called The 99 cent Store are going there for that reason the items are 99 cents, just saying.

The most time they dont have enough registers open and take much time paid for the merchandise.

It was fast and efficient. I was able to get in and get out. .

The cashier decided to chat with another employee. Never asked if I needed bags. Already had customer behind me rung up & requesting payment, even though I had not completed bagging my stuff. Never helped bag my purchase. Everytime other time I bring my own bags, the cashiers always help. Definitely not adhering to distancing guidelines either.

Was extra busy. But I have everything I need.

I have been here a few times. The store is good and clean. I have found items, that were needed in my daily life, at this store. It is a clean store, and at the same time quite spacious. The lines inside are not long, and usually they move quickly. Furthermore, there is no panhandlers in the area. So definitely, it is a good store to shop, when you have a tight budget.

Good customer service and when I spilled something on the floor... they were quick to clean it .... also staff was polite

This store was very clean and the cashier Liz was especially kind helpful and nice to me while checking out her management approached and was extremely rude to her and very disrespectful I asked her name and she said Carlen.. I came back later to let her know I appreciated her help and I’m very sorry she has to deal with such disrespect from management and to talk with management about it and they both were on a cigarette break they need new management very poor

While the price is right on most items, there are some higher prices;which I seem fair. Store was clean but check out is a nightmare. Only one cashier for every 10 people.

Horrible Customer Service! Other customers and I were in line for a long time. I asked one of the cashiers if someone can open up another check out line. I was told she had been paging someone for help. However, They will come when they decide to WTF! When they decide to? I asked for the Manager, he came about 10 minutes later. He was told I wanted to speak with him, but I never got a chance to, cause he was with someone else, so I left. He could have at least acknowledged me.The managers name is Andrew.

99c Only is the one store I can get crazy in these days. This location is the best in the area, clean, tidy and well-stocked, with friendly, helpful staff. Their produce is excellent and everything is easy to find.

Always rude , throws receipt at you, never greets terrible customer service! There’s only a couple polite people working there. Very disrespectful to the person in front of you and you. Smells like something is rotting!

Manager is very rude and doesnt like homeless people. He needs to be trained in customer relations. Besides the store being very dirty theres never enough cashiers to serve its customers!

Not the dollar store your mom shopped at! This store has Wide variety of products from fruits and veggies to gardening supplies and storage containers. There are even some healthier alternatives for snacks to be found. Check it out. Youll be surprised at what you find!

Nice clean store would be nice if the patrons werent so lazy, for the life of me I dont understand why returning the carts seems to be so hard to do. A couple of weeks ago I couldnt find a working shopping cart and now theyve bought all new ones that lazy customers leave all over the parking lot.

Very busy store... They have so much for so little.... Good idea to check this store out before going to a big grocery store... They may just have what youre looking for at a better price.

Ive been shopping here since the grand opening, and my visit always been warm and friendly, but today the cashier rubbed me the wrong way. I wasnt greeted as the 2 customers in font of me which was fine so.. I said helloo and she gave me a dry hey.. when she observed my credit card in my hands, for some reason she asked will I be paying with my EBT card with a giggle funny unprofessional look. I was seconds away from saying youre the 1st African American with old braids to be so disrespectful towards me, but I swiped my card instead and said you enjoy your weekend and power walked out the store. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN.

The people who work at the 99 cent store ate always helpful, courteous and well versed on the products. My only concern is that the theft protection on the carts is set on too small a perimeter. ..today a lady parked in the handicapped parking place was having a difficult time unloading her groceries because the cart froze. ..

Stopped bye before work for a quick snack got some delicious blueberries and blackberries and yogurt. They have a variety of healthy fresh foods.

My favorite bargain store. The only problem, if you like something, get plenty. Might not be there the next time you visit.

Be careful! This is a dangerous part of town, called the felony flats. I dont recommend going here alone at night.

Its good finally having somewhere else to get my countless led pencils for school that I lose all the time, also a good place to pick up some snacks for the movie theater.

Most of the stuff is picked over. But I love the produce there. I can almost always at anytime of the day on any day and get what I need as far as the produce.

New to the SW and 99 cent only.Lets be honest you get a little more than what you pay for; this is no schlockhaus. I like the visual layout, you can see over the shelves. Great place for comsumables. Fun place to shop there are suprises every time you shop. Store is clean and well maintained (stock & facing) even for a new store. Modern day five & dime.
