The staff at Blue Ridge Taekwondo is great!! My child has loved becoming involved with them, and in Taekwondo. Awesome teachers, wonderful atmosphere. My kiddo is pretty shy, and can be somewhat reserved. Blue Ridge Taekwondo has been helping her open up and connect. It’s awesome! She always tells me about what a great time she had in her lesson, or on Ninja Nights.

My experience with Blue Ridge has been fantastic! we started in Black Mountain when they opened it. Then, we moved to East Asheville and the transition was smooth. During this time Mrs. Johnson has seen the development of my son and she has been more than supportive during this pandemic. The staff is very kind and knowledgable. The schedule is flexible and the instruction is top notch!Thank you BLUE RIDGE for making us feel we are family!

My child did dance for years and when the pandemic hit it was hard for her to stay structured in a variety of things. (Mentally, emotionally and physically) So we joined her in Taekwondo. She has excelled in paying more attention and other things. Ms. Johnson is a wonderful teacher and an amazing woman. We are still doing the virtual schooling until May but this every week is what my child looks forward too. For that I am grateful.

You will also be very impressed with James McGhee, and Alexia Wilson, and Abby Johnson. All of the instructors are respectful, and competent and a joy to take classes from. I would give them a six star rating if I could.

My son has absolutely loved taking Taekwondo with Blue Ridge Taekwondo. All of the teachers are so dedicated and encouraging. There is a lot of personal attention and communication. My 6 year olds first virtual lesson was the most engaged Ive seen him since COVID-19 hit. Every virtual class he has attended has kept him focused and excited. He is getting so much from just the first 30 days of being a member. I cant wait to see where he will go with his journey.

My two children have been taking lessons with Blue Ridge Taekwando for three years and they love it. They think I send them to learn Taekwando, but I also send them to class because of they are learning lessons in self discipline, perseverance and respect. This is a really great school where the teachers care about their students, encourage their successes and create opportunities that are fun for everyone.

My son gets so happy on karate nights. We absolutely love it here!

We absolutely love Blue Ridge. The instructors are caring and enthusiastic. I was terrified of taking that first step on to the mats to begin my training. Its become so much more than I could imagine. Ive gained confidence and it shows in both my personal and work life. I challenge myself both physically and mentally. You dont have to be in great shape to do this. Taekwondo meets you where you are and you grow from there. I look forward to my journey here.

My daughter Sheridan loves her practice at this school. The smaller class sizes allow for more personal attention from the instructors Alana & Taylor. Sheridans self confidence, self discipline and enjoyment of Taekwondo has increased exponentially since starting here. Alana & Taylor are wonderful instructors for all ages, from the youngest kids to the adults.

Ms. Johnson and Mr. Jenkins have created a relaxed environment where our 9 year old son works his mind, body and self. He uses the five tenets of Tae Kwon Do not only in his martial arts training but also at home and at school. He enjoys learning this curriculum and LOVES sparring!

Everything in this place is fabulous, they make you feel as a family my children have fun and they learn at the same time its great
