I wish I had been able to go here when I was going through grade school! This school is perfect if you have a child with an outside passion (sport, acting, music, etc.) and your child needs a flexible school schedule. The smaller school environment allows for the teachers to really know each student and that relationship helps the students succeed in their academics while pursuing their passions. Its a one of a kind school in Atlanta, check it out if you are in the area!

Capstone is by far one of the best schools in Georgia! The teachers are professional and down to earth individuals that bring a new approach to learning. Melinda is the owner and truly one of the most tender-hearted humans I have ever encountered. She loves her students so much and wants only the very best for them. Rick is also one of the kindest people I have ever met and I couldnt imagine the school without either one of them! Thank you all for providing students with a way to learn AND chase their dreams in a safe, friendly and close-knit environment. WE LOVE CAPSTONE!

Best balance to your life at Capstone. Going from practice, auditions, whatever to then having to do your school work makes school seem more fun. You get to meet so many people you would normally not meet... which is very special thing to have in a school. I really encourage anyone interested in the Atlanta area to look at it. The atmosphere is probably the most positive vibe at a school I have ever experienced.

Capstone Academy is an excellent school! Capstone offers a superior curriculum, caring teachers and a respectful environment. Students are able to take ownership of their education, and feel a sense of accountability under the guidance of an excellent faculty and staff. The small classes allow students and teachers to focus on real learning without distractions. I highly recommend Capstone Academy - Five stars all the way!

When we were looking for the perfect place to send our children to high school we found this hidden gem. They had just started this location in the Atlanta area (they branched off from another school in Alpharetta).The focus is on education not the fluff. Three days a week and 5 hours of instruction every day. Home work that the student is responsible for completing. A parent portal that gives the parent accurate and up-to-date information about their childs progress. Timely responses from the teaching staff and the administrators whenever theres an issue.They make sure the student is a student and that the person has time to pursue their passion or dreams. If that dream includes a trip overseas or out of State or just a long weekend of sports or acting or whatever - the school has policies in place to make sure that the student can still complete their school work while the dream or passion is pursued.There is a perfect school for everyone. This may not be perfect for your child but you should put it on your list to research and explore. Were glad we did.

Capstone Academy is an amazing place for kids with busy lifestyles. Our children are able to manage both their school work and their heavy practice schedules. The curriculum is demanding but manageable and kids are provided every resource needed to be successful. Mrs. Willis and Mr. Betts truly care about every student and are always visible and available. We feel lucky to have found this incredible school.

In looking for a change for our son from public school to another school, we looked at all the familiar private school choices. They all had something that didnt appeal to us -- size, religion, location, etc -- and we came across Capstone Academy (then Rivers Academy Atlanta Campus). Reading the website, and realizing that the focus is on teaching core subjects, little to no fluff, and encouraging students to find and follow their passion, we were very excited about this option. Our son has been there for almost a full year (8th grade) and we have all loved it. The workload is full and challenging, but without the extras that are tucked in a traditional school day it seems manageable. For that student who either struggles with the day to day in a traditional school setting, for a student who has travel needs that take them out of school on a regular basis, or for families who just want something different, Capstone Academy is a great place to look at.

Our daughter has attended Rivers/Capstone for 4 years and has had a wonderful experience at this school. Melinda, Mr. Betts and the teachers care about each student and helping them be successful. This school challenges our daughter academically while she pursues her passion outside of the classroom. There is not another school quite like this one in Atlanta!

Great Academics & Rigor in a friendly, safe environment. Innovative approaches to learning that encourage the whole child. Down to earth family feel while reaching college level heights. Both my children graduated from our sister school in Alpharetta, and this one in Atlanta is proving to be just as wonderful--if not more, in some ways--where on-site Music, Acting, Robotics, Art, Chess & more are offered after school. Highly recommend Capstone Academy where love, life and learning come together to create crowning achievements in so many ways.

Capstone Academy is a wonderful school! From the teachers to the staff, each person cares about the children and want them to succeed. This scool allows a student to pursue their passion while still being able to learn and grow in their classes. I would highly recommend this school!
