We stumbled across this school by driving by it and calling for some info. After a tour of the school and meeting the principal we enrolled our son for pre-K. Hes in Kindergarten now in his third year at the school and I couldnt think of a better place to educate and care for my son. Its a family environment and every staff member is dedicated to the well-being of the children. Its a bilingual charter school and Id recommend a visit to see if its a good fit for your kids. The outside of the school is a little interesting, but inside is a safe place for kids to learn and grow.

My daughter has been at this school since the beginning, she is fluent in Spanish. Academically it is also a great school. I hate that now shes in first grade she will only have 60% of Spanish of course its because of the standardize testing which sucks. I recommend this school. It is a proven fact that those that are bilingual are above those that only speak one language. Shes not behind but I will work with her to get her above average.

Great school with some understandable growing pains. Excellent staff that uses an appropriate mix of caring and expectation in the classroom. Personal investment in each student promulgates individual success.

My kids started at the school knowing almost no Spanish. What theyve learned in a short time is amazing. We love the teachers so much and feel very lucky to be part of such a wonderful community!

We were very excited when the school opened and moved our daughter there in second grade. The school was new and she had a wonderful teacher for the first two years. Her next two years, fourth and fifth were a completely different experience and the school change dramatically. We had our daughter tested for a reading assessment in preparation of moving her to middle school and she failed horribly. Barely able to pass second grade reading and math at a fourth grade level. We were horrified. We happen to have teacher conferences that week and I asked her teacher how her reading was, her response was wonderful no problems. When I explain to her that was not the case that she wasn’t even passing second grade on a reading assessment she just stared at me blankly with no response. We ended up putting our daughter in Kumon and after only two short months she was back up to her grade and began to excel in reading and math. The academics at the school are absolutely horrible and I would caution any parent from putting their child in this school if education is of great importance to them. The same teacher regularly had very rude and bordering on abusive comments towards my daughter. My daughter complained daily about the teacher and things she had said to her. We had the exact same problems with the administration. They were more concerned with lists and list of irrelevant rules rather than the quality of education the children were receiving. We watched the demographics change dramatically in the four years we were there as well. When we started the school it was a great mix of all ethnicities and demographics, by the time we are exiting the school this year it’s one of the lowest demographics economically that we had seen. When we regrettably had to ask her teacher for a teacher evaluation for the school she was entering in middle school the teachers remarks were that she had very little academic potential. I’m not sure what kind of teacher has that mindset or says that about their own students but we were fairly disgusted by this teacher all the way around. We are more than happy that my daughter Is finishing fifth grade and we can move her into an academically and culturally excellent school.
