Aurora University is small enough to really build relationships with your professors yet big enough to always meet a new face. It has been an excellent launching point for my career.

My family celebrates 3 generations of graduates from AU - 2 Bachelor degrees, 1 Masters degree, and 1 Doctorate of Education. This is a tremendous institution!

I earned an MBA and an MALS (Master of Arts in Leadership for Service). I am very pleased with the quality of the education I received as well as the facilities. If you or your kids choose to attend here, I hope you enjoy tge school as much as I.

Lee Young Jun PEN ARTPen Art(General Remarks)Infinity of lines and dots have symbolism.  Such symbolism is ever changing according to the spirit’s depth.  All works are kaleidoscopic; they are usually composed of indescribable expressions.  Therefore, art’s depth also can be said to be unlimited.  Is pen art’s depth also infinite?  In other words, do the lines and dots flowing from the nib of a pen have an artistic qualification?  In this respect, it is worth thinking deeply.  Pen art begins from an essence of nature’s fundamental values.  From the standpoint of value, or color, a harmony of black and white is essential in nature.  As it is impossible to see any color in darkness, distinguishing color is an essential role of light.  That is why the soul is drawn to light.  Whiteness, or light is a spiritual reflection of the soul while blackness, or darkness is a reality of life on earth.  As the color green is an essential color of vegetation, burnt charcoal is an earthy color that will stay near black.  Blackness is heterogeneous and may be hostile to life.  If blackness belongs to the essence of nature, it also may be said to represent the image of death.  A combination of black and white constitutes degrees of lightness and darkness.  When painting black on a white background, the soul is transported to the white background.  Whiteness comes to life when contrasted with black line and black space.  In this case, soul also may be expressed through the blackness.  Soul may be transported to the black or a combination of white and black, which shed a mysterious merit to the soul or spirit.  Pen arts starts and ends from an essence of nature’s fundamental contrasts.  The primary essence is infinite and eternal while the artistic harmony of black and white can take one’s breath away.  But, this is not possible until a metamorphosis has been realized over many years and spiritual transcendence has occurred.  The transfer of spirit  occurs when one’s life experiences are projected onto the white canvas in harmony with blackness.  That is the true ‘pen art.’Artidt Lee Young JunI am a Korean.I pioneered the Lee Young Jun Pen Art andPerfected the genre.I am Artist Lee Young Jun.Pen Art is the only genre is an important work In the world.The works are extremely valuable.And no one is able to work not dare to imitate.The hope my work can be sympathy to many people. I worked full time and went to grad school fulll time at AU. Great classes and professors. All my interaction with students and staff was five star.

Cannot recommend this university. We were expecting one thing, got another. Our son was recruited out of state to play baseball. He is a good student and a hard working athlete. Unfortunately, the lack of leadership and nonexistent communication skills within the coaching staff has made for a very disappointing experience. After two years of lackluster coaching, my son has no desire to return next year. Unfortunately, he has also lost other opportunities to play for schools with stronger coaching staff and greater rewards. Talk is cheap.

AU is probably the worst university in the western suburb. AUs administration only cares about $$. They have an outdated attendance and class scheduling policy (you have to see advisors who will screw you over) to ensure that you graduate later than expected (it happens regularly). Some professors are very knowledgeable, others know absolutely nothing and are there to fill classes (yes, this happens). Definitely stay away from this university until they can fix their problems.

My son was so excited to go to Au he went to play football. My husband I went to vist it and meet the football coaches. I was very excited because we lived in Wisconsin and he was going to be on his own for the first time. I trusted the coaches saying that we will take care of your kids like they were are own. So that was the day he went on his over night stay. The next day I called my son and asked him if he was ready to be picked up I could tell something was wrong. So we went to get him and found out that the person he was staying with got arrested for DUI. Of course I was like what the hell but I was like ok but again this goes back to what the coach said they are like my kids. The coach never came up to my husband and I and said anything about it.So then he goes off to AU for football camp so that is Two weeks before school starts. So we go and vist my son one week end and find out that some girl hide booze in his room and her purse was in there also. We went to the police on campus and he was like well thank you etc. He said that the dean will talk to him about this. So in the mean time my son is 18 and he had some friends that week end when this happened at the dorm but he wasnt there. So a couple days go by and I get a call from my son telling me he is getting kicked out of the dorms. I was like what we did everything they told us to do by telling who the girl was who had the booze etc. So I get on the phone with the dean and he tells me that the booze was in his room and he had girls who were 18 years of age in his room. I am like Sir the booze was not his though we brought it to you guys and told you who it was who put it there. He was a nasty person. I wanted to say to him which I think I am still going to write a letter to Au about this whole thing. Really I let my son go on a over night stay the next day I find out that one of the popular football players got arrested for a DUI but this happens and he gets kicked out of the dorms. Seriously! It is a very expensive school and they dont help you with anything. It was like pulling teeth to get the financial aide department to help you. It was a big disappointment for his first first experience of college. Do not let you kids go here they will let you down! Thanks coach Ponx you sure were there for my son

Every time it rained here in the area my dorm floods with water when i went here that was my freshman year 1st semester. School shouldve reimbursed me for room and board
