Did my road test at Travis Driving school, and they were very professional and organized. The test supervisor Adam communicated spectacularly, making it a comfortable and even pleasant experience. Most importantly, he gave good feedback at the end of the test showing that he really cares that the people he’s “graduating” drive safely- it’s not just a job for him!

(English is not my native language so i was so nervous for my classes and test, but my instructor was amazing!! she was very patient with me and explained everything in a way that I could understand). What a fantastic experience. I took a DPS Road Skills test here with Adam and he was very attentive throughout the test. After the test, which I passed, he was very informative and kind to me as he detailed what I could have done better. My only regret is not starting driver’s ed here with Adam in the beginning. My license expired during COVID and I was required to take the driving test to renew. The first available appointment was almost a week out, but I needed to be able to rent a car sooner. I called the school to inquire about the possibility of any cancellations that would allow me to get in sooner.To my surprise they called back that afternoon, after business hours, to let me know there was a cancellation for the next morning. I was very impressed!The instructor was very professional and kind. He even brought me coffee and water as I was waiting for my ride to pick me up.I highly recommend!

Simply the best. I took my dps road test here and passed it with ease. The examiner (Mr. A.Seid) was super friendly and gave great feedback. There is absolutely no reason to be nervous if you know the rules. They would never fail a person intentionally. I would recommend this amazing school to anyone looking for classes or just the road test.

I first started nervous like everyone else especially since I hadnt been on the road in a while, my first instructor was Meredith and shes an amazing instructor, she took away my nervousness and just took it slow and steady align with giving tips and tricks that would help your driving experience. For the second lesson was with her and that was smooth sailing the third lesson I had was another instructor unfortunately I forgot his name but he was also another good instructor as well and gave in depth knowledge along with testing your knowledge on the road. I also took my road test and passed after 3 attempts the first 2 did leave me down but Adam (the examiner) gave me the strength to try again and tips to help me after passing it today he passed his wisdom of what I needed to continue practicing and get down so I can better my safety on the road. Great experience. Book work and quizzes weren’t hard and were very educational. The food was great! I loved the driving simulators because it helps with preparation and I have a little more confidence driving.

I was very happy to be able to take this test early, thank God for these people!!! the experience on the other hand was not the best.instructor was very short & confusing the entire time. at the end of our test result he wouldnt even tell me if I passed or not. he told me he might let me pass. but besides the experience thanks travis school for giving me the opportunity to take the test early.

I took my driving test here and the instructor made me feel very calm helpfull and gave me great tips and advice at the end . I thought the test was pretty easy and passed on my first try

Went here for my driving lessons and road exam. I was initially anxious to drive, but my driving instructor Meredith created a very comfortable environment to learn and I relaxed a lot more and Mr. Adam is very detailed when giving feedback on your driving to make sure you really understand the requirements for road safety. Overall the communication and professionalism at Travis Driving School is great!!

All three instructors are super helpful and professional. I had more classes than their normal 6 hours package since I dont have access to a car in my after-class time so I have to do all the practice in class. Meredith made me feel no longer nervous behind the wheel and driving safely in the neighborhood, John taught me all the traffic rules through learning by doing and practicing, Adam corrected all my bad habits during driving and really built up my confidence and made me conquer all the anxiety about driving. All my questions about driving are answered quickly along the way and through time, it really leaves a good muscle memory and made me feel Im in good control with the car. The front desk is also super helpful who always responded quickly about class re-schedule and etc. Overall I had a really great time with the school and passed the exam this afternoon. It is totally worth it. I will strongly recommend the school to all my friends.

It was great! It was helpful and tought me a lot that I never knew. Even though the teaching wasnt the greatest, I still learned and had a lot of fun.

Overall, the class is very good when it comes to content. But, I wish there was more time on the simulators for practice and there will be make up classes for those who were absent. Again, very well taught and informative.

I had a drivers license appointment at the DPS on Aug 11th but was unable to do the road test there. All of the 3rd-party driving schools I contacted in order to get my road test done prior to the 11th were completely booked for weeks, however Travis Driving School was able to accomodate me ASAP. I passed the road test and my instructor was extremely helpful and gave me great tips on improving my driving, while also saving me a ton of stress and avoiding potential DPS/road test delays. Thanks so much guys!

Travis driving school really helped me a lot with with my driving even that I have driven so much with my family just doing the 6 hours with them I felt like a learned more. Adam really is amazing driving instructor and I have learned so much from him. I will use all the teachings he has taught me and I hope for the best of him and everyone else will be so luck learning from him.

I absolutely loved my experience at Travis Driving School. I got the 6 hours package and Adam was my instructor. I already had a license but since I just moved from NYC I hadnt driven in years and was extremely anxious behind the wheel. Adam taught me everything as if I had never driven before. This was really helpful because I realized I had big gaps in my knowledge and rules in Texas were different. Adam taught be all they basics, including life hacks for a safe driver, as well as how to not be afraid on the road. He taught me rules in TX, we went to different neighborhoods in the North so I was able to practice highway driving as well as driving in tighter spaces. Adam was very patient with me and he filled me with confidence and encouraged me to keep practicing and improving. Since our last lesson I have been more eager to drive which has really improved my life here in Austin. I highly highly recommend this school. They took all precautions because of the pandemic, communicated via text and made sure I had the best service possible. Thank you!!!

My experience with Travis Driving School was perfect! Adam is a great instructor and makes sure you learn how to be a safe and smart driver while also teaching you what to expect for the road test. I took the 9 hour class behind the wheel because I needed plenty of practice and he was patient, professional and on-time for every lesson, and wasted no time getting the lessons started. The scheduling process was also easy and quickly done over text, which I appreciated. Being able to take the road test with the school if you choose is another huge bonus to avoid the long wait for taking it at the DPS! I went from having very little driving experience to having my license in-hand in about two weeks. Overall definitely recommend TDS if you need to learn to drive!

I had a very good experience with staff and the instructors and cleared my driving test at very first attempt. I was someone who had never driven a car before and believe me I was able to learn in just 3 days. So it all took me just a week to get my driving license. Love these guys and I recommend anyone who wish to have good quality lessons for driving.

Very nice and kind teacher as well as classmates. Started off very nervous but with the help of the teacher and companions I started to adjust within the first few days.

It was truly an experience to come here, I actually learned things and the driving simulator was really helpful to start me off with driving, I would definitely recommend coming here.

I had a very specific situation and they were patient in understanding it and then advising the best steps for me to take. A few weeks later and I finally have my license. Really appreciate their helpful nature and focus on customers and road safety over trying to just make money off you.

When I found this school I had my permit for years, but my driving anxiety always got in the way of me properly pursuing my license. I liked the fact they advertised for nervous and anxious drivers... and as I SUCCESSFULLY GOT MY LICENSE TODAY... I can say worth every penny.The instructor is top notch. He reads his students and assesses their challenges. He made every lesson fun and did his best to provide a comfortable learning environment.The change I’ve seen in myself was also noticeable by friends and family members as well. I would recommend this school to everyone... especially if you think you might not ever learn how to drive.

Best driving school! My wife took the road test and she is not fluent in English at all. I asked the instructor to use only basic words for directions, and he was so understanding and helpful! He really tried to make it as simple as possible, as a result my wife understood every single direction and was comfortable (as comfortable as inexperienced driver could be on the exam). What a good man, God bless him!

Highly recommend taking your driving lessons from Adam. He is extremely professional and patient in his instruction and conduct. He is very thorough with the training and makes sure he instills confidence in the new drivers. He will answer any number questions till the driver is feeling ready for driving on her/his own.

Easy to work with and scheduling online was a breeze. The DPS test lasted about 20 minutes and was administered in a fair manner. At the conclusion of the test the areas scored lower were explained with recommendation on how to improve. The insights into how I was driving were spot on. To me this says the owner takes driver education and the safety of Texas drivers very serious. Im satisfied and considering additional drivers education.
