I absolutely love the place. They are very good at teaching and are very friendly people. I really enjoyed just being there with them. The person who I took my classes with even took me onto the highway so I could get rid of that fear because I was super scared of the highway before. Also, the person I took my test with was so nice and was so so so flexible. Loved this place so much and would highly recommend!

After not driving for four years after getting into two accidents in high school, I was extremely nervous to get behind the wheel again. Ms. B was super understanding and helped me re-develop my skills. After just two lessons, my confidence behind the wheel had already improved drastically. This was a great experience, and I highly recommend!

Mr Pab was wonderful, he helped me calm my nerves through his crystal clear instructions. I gained a lot of confidence as I progressed through his classes, and successfully got my driving license in my first attempt. Mr Pab is also flexible in accommodating any time crunches you might have. Highly recommend.

I did my driving test here, with Ms (Mrs?) Brenda. Took me two attempts, but that was my fault and I got very clear feedback on what I did wrong and how to fix it.They were also super flexible with me and helped me out when I had a severe time constraint and Im very thankful to them for that.I felt very comfortable doing my test and would recommend to others looking to do their test.I will say their website is pretty archaic, so if you can visit the office or talk on the phone, its a lot easier to book an appointment.

Amazing driving school, they let you take the road skills test with them too, so it was super easy for me to pass that right after taking lessons with them. I had Mrs. BP and she was very thorough and prepared me well for driving in any kind of environment. They also do a super good job of cleaning the car and keeping people safe during the pandemic. They also had the best prices compared to the other driving schools I looked at. Registration and scheduling/canceling classes is super easy on their website too.

Absolutely horrible - it’s a fraud.I paid for 2 behind-the-wheel classes in May but the online calendar was always full and I was not able to schedule classes at all.I called immediately in May and was told that if I cannot schedule the classes within a month, I will be able to get a refund.I called again closer to when the 1-month limit was up (on 6/8), and no one was answering. I left a message but never got a returned phone call. I’ve tried reaching out multiple times after, and was eventually told yesterday over email that because it’s been too long they won’t refund me.Completely a lie.

I gave this school because of Ms B and Mr P...they were awesome I would attend this school again in a heart beat. My only negative is that woman at the front desk...she needs an attitude adjustment and should retire. Do your paperwork on line to avoid her at any cost Other! Other than that great school to learn to drive

Very Rude and Unprofessional. They dont let you see the appointment once you have made the payment. Their website is super glitchy and takes all the information from you and once trying to login back, it wont let you unless you pay.I tested with them before, the instructor seemed like he had a fight with someone. The woman on the phone was very disrespectful when I was presenting my queries, continuously cutting me off.Not recommending this to anyone.

I still remember the first day I went there last year and I was a mess. I didn’t know left from right but Mr. P never got frustrated at me or yelled at me. He calmly taught me and now I’m no longer afraid to get on the road. The girl who was also in the car with me was a pro at driving while I was a mess but, now I’m the pro. I think I’ll always get nervous when I drive near the location. The last time I went to get papers and I still got nervous and I laughed because these nerves will always remind me of Mr.P. Another thing is that now when my dad is driving up a hill in my mind I’m always like “push push push and flow” Whoever gets him next, take care of him and everyone there. They are amazing people and will always be calm with you. I’ll miss the random conversations we had in the car Mr. Pat. May god take care of you and Ms. Brenda. I am very grateful to you for helping me get my driver license. :DP.S. Their car is very neat and easy to drive, also Mr. P is very good at assisting you when driving.

She is calm, patient, and provides you with the tools you need to be able to replicate the same things no matter where you are or what car you’re driving. Undoubtedly, the best driving school in the city. Two weeks ago, when I went for my first driving lesson, I was nervous to even hold the steering wheel of the car. Hands down the best driving school in Austin! Mrs. P B is the best driving instructor ever! She teaches every aspect of driving well and in depth and has patience while youre getting used to the aspects of driving. She also shows respect for your driving ability and works with you to help you in areas you need improvement. Im so glad I came to Easy Street Driving School for both my lesson and my road test. UPDATE: Easy Street has left a response that contains false information. Confirming there is NO WAY to see availability before making an appointment. I was only given a refund after being attacked over the phone, and the refund was short $8. While you cant meet everyones expectations you can at least maintain some level of professionalism. I cannot believe they had the audacity to write such a condescending response.Rude and unprofessional. Doesnt let you see the availability until AFTER you pay. I went to make an appointment in October and there was zero availability for the rest of the year. Then when I tried to get a refund, I was interrupted before finishing my first sentence and ended up having to dispute the charge. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Go to Austin Driving school. They have much more availability and are actually professional.

I had recently completed my 6-hour driving lessons with Ms. Brenda, and she was absolutely amazing. I put off driving for 2 years because I always had driving anxiety and was always hesitant to drive anywhere. Even on the first lesson I had with Ms. Brenda, she was super calm and patient with me and she easily got rid of my fear of driving when she took me on the road. I am so thankful for Ms. Brenda, and she did an amazing job at keeping her patience with me, always correcting my mistakes in a calm manner and constantly encouraging me because she believed I had the potential to keep going and get it right. This drivers ed school is simply one of the best. After going to another driving school in Austin, they lied to us outright even before we began lessons, we promptly cancelled with us and decided to talk our business to a more local company. Mr. P is one of the best teachers for driving in the city, he even stayed calm when I made dangerous and incorrect driving maneuvers. He also was very clear about what I needed to do to pass the test, as well as build the test route into the normal drivers ed appointments. This school was a tad more expensive than other options in the area but is 100% worth it, I also took my road test with ESDS and they were once again nothing but amazing! Mr. P even took the time to come into the office early and give me my drivers test since I didnt have time in my day to complete it during the online appointment time. The front desk lady Mrs. Brenda is also super kind and caring. She gave me lists of everything I needed to bring to my test and also clearly answered any of my question that I had before and after the test. She really puts on a smile all the time and is a pleasure to work with! Thank you easy street driving school!!!

I took my drivers test with Mr. Pabellon he was really nice and straightforward with everything. The test was smooth and he was clear with his instructions. He gave great feedback and was really attentive.

Highly recommend. My dad didnt have the right papers the first day we showed up for the road test. They even let us come back on a closed day to do the road test. They are very helpful and kind. My instructor Mr Pab was great.

We were at our wits end trying to find an open third party school that was open. COVID pretty much ruined everything or so we thought. The last call I made was to Easy Street they called back that night and explained the registration process and that they were scheduling for skills test. They made sure to remind us that they were practicing social distancing and to wear our masks. We arrived and went over the paperwork and off our son went to take his skills test. I’m sure if he didn’t have a mask on I would have seen that beaming smile when they got back from the test! But I had to settle for a thumbs up. Great staff and communication. Highly recommend this driving school. Two thumbs up and 5 stars!

Professional and efficient while also kind and encouraging to the students. They were Open for business and prepared for the changes to driving testing due to Covid-19. They told us everything to do once we left the test to get the license which is so helpful. Appreciated the mask policy to keep everyone safe. Happy we supported this local business!

They are the worst ever. They were very annoyed and rude on the phone. They told me to register and pay first for an appointment and after I did that they said the appointment is no longer available we do not want you we will refund you. Even though I didn’t ask for a refund which I still dis not get.When I asked why they were annoyed with me they said yes we are you are talking over us and not listening. I have never dealt with such horrible customer service .

I just completed a six hour behind the wheel course and I can say that it made a huge difference in my confidence to drive and feel safe driving in Austin traffic. I want to thank Mrs. Brenda for being so patient with me and preparing me to pass my driving skill test.

If I could give 0 stars I would. From the second we walked in, they were very unfriendly. We had a date wrong on the certificate, and they acted like we were putting them out, but they would accommodate us if we paid $10 to print one paper. We were 15 minutes early and they made us feel like we were holding them up because we were the last test of the day, even though it wasn’t even our time yet. The whole experience felt so off that I even started to cry and my daughter didn’t even want to take her test with them. She has been so excited to get her license and this was a big letdown. After calling around to all the other driving schools, every one in Travis county isn’t even allowed to be opened right now, so I honestly don’t even know if it’s legal. Seems like they are just trying to make money. The poor girl before us failed her test and the whole place just felt wrong. I am thankful we got a refund and left and plan to go somewhere better next week when all offices can open on the 18th.

I went here for a six hour adult course in learning how to drive and I started out very anxious about driving on the road. Easy Streets approach to teaching was polite, friendly, and very thorough.I cant stress their thoroughness enough: as well as the rules of the road they gave me a schooling in how to make tight, safe turns around corners, be aware of my surroundings, and build habits that keep me safe even when Im driving in an area where I dont know the road features. That kind of confidence and readiness keeps you safe in its own way: you keep in the flow of traffic and know where your attention has to be.This school is well worth the money and the cherry on top is doing the road test with their car youve been practicing in; youre all set to bring your paperwork to DPS and finish up.To Brenda and Juan,Although I did a lot more of my lessons with the former than with the latter, the time spent learning with both of you was fantastic.Keep up the great work.

I recently took an hour lesson followed by a driving test. Was super easy to make an appt online. My instructor was very kind and patient and gave me many helpful pointers during our hour lesson before the test. Cant recommend this place enough. Great experience.

I just took my driving test at Easy Street today, and unfortunately I didnt pass this time, but my tester was very nice and pointed out how I could do better really well. Id definitely recommend this place for tests, but make sure to scan the area first, as it is very busy and a little tough to navigate.

I have taken a 6-hour adult behind-the-wheel driving course and a road test at this school. My instructor Brenda helped me tremendously. I cannot thank her enough -- because of her very articulate and clear advice, helpful instructions, supportive attitude, expertise, patience, and professionalism, I am now a better driver. Within a short period of time, I was able to complete the course and take the test -- no waiting periods, no lines, quick scheduling, clear instructions about documents and further procedures. From beginning to end, my experience with Brenda and other school personnel was great and I would absolutely recommend this school to everyone interested in developing their driving skills or taking a road test.

I went here for an adult 1 hour behind-the-wheel session. Ms. Brenda was super patient and helpful! Before we even got in the car, we talked about expectations and before we left the parking lot we practiced some basic techniques. I left feeling very pleased with what I was able to learn in such a short amount of time!

This is a great school, I came here a few years ago to take a set of adult driving lessons, took some time off from driving due to life. Found out that the school is now able to administer the driving test, and I came back, did the test here, was comfortable, relaxed, and I passed! The staff here are great! I recommend them! If you have been taking the bus all your life, dont be afraid to learn how to drive. Staff is great.

Ms. Brenda is the best teacher you can have to learn how to drive! I came to her with zero experience driving and I ended up passing the driving test the first time! Shes extremely patient and will tailor the learning experience to what you need. Easy Street Driving School is also very flexible with your schedule and offers to pick you up and drop you off where ever you need. Everyone here is lovely and extremely passionate about teaching people their way around a car :) Great in car conversation too while driving!

I just recently completed my 6 hour driving course and my drivers test with Easy Street Driving School. Im a recent graduate (Im only 22 with little to no experience about driving) and I was able to get my license in only 4 -5 weeks. My instructor Mr. Pabellon did an excellent job at teaching me, guiding me and making the process easy. I work full time and he was able to accommodate my schedule by scheduling my drivers exam on a Sunday. Going from a lot of anxiety and fear of driving, I can honestly say Ive conquered one of my biggest fears!

I’m an adult that grew up in the inner city my whole life. I’ve never lived in a “driving city” until I moved to Austin.I had taken driving lessons from another school when I first moved to Austin, however, life just got in the way of scheduling my road test with DPS (more on that later). It was a hassle to schedule, and truthfully my other lessons didn’t really leave me feeling confident enough to go out for it so kind of just kept putting it off and putting it off.Our family was getting by fine with just one driver, and I like to ride my bike, so when I needed to do errands myself I’d typically use it as an excuse to go on a ride.When my son was born though, the reality of not being licensed to drive quickly crashed down on me. I wasn’t going to be taking my newborn to his pediatrician appointments on my bike.I did some research and decided to commit to getting licensed. I was looking for a driving school that was highly rated because I wanted to learn to be a SAFE driver (since I’d have my son in the car). I didn’t just want to pass the test.Well, this is a roundabout way of saying I feel confident behind the wheel now because of my lessons with Easy Street. My instructor was knowledgeable and patient, but also pushed me to develop safe confident driving habits. My ability behind the wheel from when I started to when I finished my lessons is day and night.An unexpected bonus that really helped me out - Easy Street is able to do your road test for you as a third party - this saves you from having to schedule a month or more ahead with DPS. I was able to do my road test (and pass!) much sooner than I thought would be possible.They are the real deal. There’s a reason they have so many glowing reviews.

There are so many options of Texas dps approved testing and learning schools that it may be hard to navigate sometimes. However I am glad I chose Easy driving school. They made the process really easy to take my driving test and Ms Brenda is probably the best and most awesome soul out there. I recommend these guys 100%

Brenda was very patient in explaining details and making you comfortable for the test. She also gave detailed feedback after the test. Easy Street Driving School is an AMAZING driving school!I register for 6 hours of Adult Behind The Wheel driving classes. The driving lessons were a true learning experience. My Driver instructor was Ms. Brenda, she taught the basics and the more complex of being behind the wheel. Also I did not know how to parallel park and in my very first lesson of me being behind the wheel Ms. Brenda lead me through and in my very first day I was already parallel parking. Everytime my anxiety will kick in Ms. Brenda was there to guide me and encouraging me to the point of me being able to conquer my fears. At the end of my Adult Behind The Wheel driving lessons Ms. Brenda gave me the opportunity of doing the Road test that exact day.I passed the road test!THANK YOU MS. BRENDA

Brenda and Juan are both exceptional driving instructors. I could not have done it without them and i will always be grateful for their patience, understanding and accommodation when it came to scheduling lessons. I had not driven in over 15 years and was extremely nervous about staring over basically from scratch. I got a good job that finally required me to get a car and i knew that it was now or never. I ended up taking about 12 lessons in the end but it was well worth it and i think their rates are more reasonable than some of the other driving schools in Austin. So dont even bother looking for another driving school because this is where you need to go.

This place is top notch. I am 28 years old and had never been in the driving seat of a car before. I was also really anxious about driving in general. However, despite all this Brenda managed to get me to pass the road test on my first try, just a few weeks after starting my lessons. She was also really considerate and extremely wise, and most importantly she helped me become a safe driver. I don’t think my experience could have been any better. This is a great driving school, and I strongly recommend it. Would rate it 100 stars if possible :)

Im so glad to have found Brenda and Juan at Easy Street Driving School. As an adult with no driving experience, Easy Street was the only school that was flexible enough to work around my full time job.Both Brenda and Juan were great to work with. Not only were they accommodating, they were also very patient, encouraging, positive and are all in all, great teachers who know how to break things down in understandable ways.They always had a sheet that is similar to the driving test and scored us at each session, providing feedback at the end. Each class curriculum is designed specifically to your weak areas so you work till youre good at it. Most importantly is their focus on making us safe and defensive drivers instead of just passing the test. They are great at putting you in real world situations and conditions, teaching you not just the technical skills of driving, but the mental processes of judging traffic and safety as well. They are open enough to let you make mistakes so you can experience the consequences and point out/explain what we did wrong and what we should have done, but it was never at the expense of putting us in danger. Thats good teaching right there!Its clear to me that Brenda and Juan care more about making each of their students a safe driver and giving us the tools we need to be confident on the road. Ive had such great pleasure working with them and will highly recommend them to anyone.

Highly recommended.My instructor was Brenda. After I took just one lesson with her, I gained immense confidence.I even got a new car after my first lesson, which I drove back home myself. (I have never driven a car before). She tailors the classes to the needs and the grasping capabilities of the student. Being someone who asks things more than once, I can vouch for the fact that she was extremely patient with me. The best part is that she not only makes you drivers test ready, but also makes you confident to drive alone on any road. Its been a month and I am confidently driving around Austin. She was just incredibly good.

In short, Easy Street is incredible.I grew up overseas so did not get my license until the ripe age of 24...I had taken some classes in Washington, D.C, before coming to Austin but was not able to get my license there. I took my first certificate class with Easy Street and then Behind the Wheel classes, and also got ready for my skills test with Brenda.They were awesome in all aspects: courteous, honest, flexible, and all around just amazing teachers. Brenda was patient with me and made sure to form my lessons to what she thought I needed improvement on (based on the lesson before!).My first test, I did not pass... and definitely not because of something that Easy Street couldve helped me with-I had a total brain fart moment. When I failed I was devastated, and the DPS tester told me that it was that one mistake that cost me the test.Brenda helped me regain my confidence, and on my second try I passed with flying colors! The DPS tester that day told me that my test was really good, and I got a 98/100! I felt like Miss Brenda was just as happy as I was! She really cares about her students.I will not miss the stress of getting ready for a road test. I will, however, miss my weekly chit chats with Brenda, but definitely plan on keeping in touch-she truly is such a great person!Miss Brenda and Mr. Juan are wonderful people and teachers, there is nothing else to say here. This is, no doubt, the best driving school in Austin.

I did a 6 hour adult course and road test through Easy Street Driving School. Ms. Pabellon was a great instructor! Attentive and really great at providing constructive feedback. If your looking to get your license through a third party or just improve on your driving skills I would highly recommend Easy Street Driving!

Has anyone told you that parallel parking was difficult? Well that is because they havent learnt driving from easy street driving school. A 3 step process which makes a parallel parking a walk in the park. Brenda from easy street has helped me become a more safe and confident driver. I highly recommend anyone who wants to learn driving to join easy street. They do have a waiting period but trust me its worth the wait.

I took adult driving lessons at Easy Street with Brenda as a 30-yr-old after not driving regularly for ~7 years. Brenda is an excellent and highly skilled teacher -- she knows where everything is in Austin, gives clear feedback, and keeps up friendly conversation (which helped minimize my stress at getting back behind the wheel!). I really appreciated that Brenda asked specifically what I wanted to work on and she even made sure we spent some time driving in my neighborhood (even though its some distance from the driving school). She took time to answer all my questions and to give concrete tips for trouble spots (highway driving, changing lanes). The lessons did not shy away from challenging real-life driving situations (which I felt my past drivers ed as a teenager did), but I always felt 100% safe with Brenda there and she did not hesitate to correct when needed. I feel much more confident after my lessons with Brenda and my passengers have noticed the difference as well! Absolute highest recommendation for Easy Street and for Brenda!

I love this school. Not only are they friendly, but they are also GREAT at what they do. Ill be 30 soon, and before going to Easy Street, I had absolutely no driving experience and was completely terrified of the thought of driving. Miss Brenda did an excellent job at calming me down and getting me comfortable behind the wheel, and Im so so so thankful to her for that. Id never thought Id drive, and now it feels so comforting. I no longer have that barrier and I owe it all to Easy Street. PS: The prices are unbeatable.

They are so professional, friendly, and helpful. The owner guided us on how to make our DMV experience go more smoothly since my son turned 18 between taking the teen drivers course online and taking the actual driving test. She informed us that the young adult course is only 1 hour, there is free WiFi at What-a-Burger, where he could take it and come back for the driving portion! We were completely done in less than 3 hours. My son will have his adult license before we get busy with the new school year!

Probably the best driving school in all of Austin. I took the teen course and felt super comfortable since the beginning. They always made sure to explain everything in depth. The classes are engaging and the teachers are all amazing people, I would recommend it to all teens wanting to get their permits. I dont know what the adult courses consist of but I would still recommend them to anybody I know. Truly thankful for all the amazing people at this establishment. Would give 10 stars if possible.

My experience with Easy Street Driving School was amazing! Planning lessons was effortless, and the lessons made me feel prepared to start driving on my own after passing the driving test. I was initially very nervous about driving, but Brenda helped me get over these fears and learn the skills necessary to drive safely. She also went out of her way to help me find a driving test appointment that wouldnt take place months after my lessons ended. Even though I live on the other side of town, it was well worth the trip to learn with a patient and experienced instructor like Brenda. Thanks for making my transition to Texas easier, Easy Street! I found easy street driving school to be a great location for my daughter to take her driving test. They were incredibly helpful, made sure we had all the documents needed and were really nice.

I have been in and out of driving schools for over 5 years, never quite managing to finish lessons or become fully confident on the road due to something always coming up before I could complete a course. After two weeks with Brenda, however, I finally managed to pass.Wonderful company with a personal interest in your improvement.

Not only did I pass the test on my first try, only 5 out of 100 possible points were deducted from my total score. I passed my road test last week an 82 score after taking the lessons with Brenda. Most of the points are taken off because of observation, others are position related.Brenda is a very responsible, professional, and humorous teacher! I used to be terrified about driving. After the lessons I feel so much more confident on the road. Highly recommended!

I was made very comfortable while driving in a completely new environment. Brenda and Juan explained all the rules very patiently. They even quizzed me to keep me on my toes. They planned each lesson carefully, keeping in mind my level of comfort. They also incorporated a challenge exercise each lesson to push me to drive better.Highly recommend this place!

I used Easy Street for their advanced review lesson and used their car for my road test. Juan was SO helpful and gave me excellent feedback and tips for improvement. He was very patient so he kept me calm and relaxed, so when I showed up for my test I felt ready. I passed on the first try after practicing my parallel parking and driving a bit with Juan!

Easy street was prompt, extremely patient and helpful. I am 25 and I was terrified since I had only driven in India. Regardless to say, the rules here are very different. Brenda was extremely patient. She drove with me for the first hour and made me realize what were the areas I needed to focus on. She is a great tutor, and I was surprised when I was able to do the parallel parking with such ease after the first few attempts. We focused on the parts where I felt I was lacking as well as on the parts she felt was necessary to pass the road test. I passed the road test in the very first attempt. And I did not practice anything on my own. Just with Easy Street.Easy Street are a bunch of super helpful people with a great attitude. They are prompt, and are very cost-effective. Plus, they have the option to charge you by the hour which gives you more flexibility in choosing your lessons. If you are in Austin and need to get your DL, just choose them. You can never go wrong with Easy Street.

I highly recommend this driving school. Brenda is a very helpful instructor. She identified my weaknesses and helped me to greatly improve on those. She even made me practice parallel parking with my car for free on the day before the exam, which was outside her working hours, to make sure I wont make any mistakes during the test. So, I was able to pass the driving test in Texas in my first attempt.

Thank you guys so much! The staff here are great. My instructor, Brenda was really thorough in explaining what I did wrong while driving and why especially as an amateur driver. I highly recommend this school. They will be honest with you, which is great and they will tell you what you need to improve on.

Very helpful to be able to schedule driving test with Easy Street rather than having to wait the 5 weeks to schedule with DPS. The staff members were very kind and worked with our schedule restrictions. Well definitely refer others to them!

I totally recommend this school for anyone who is a first time driver wanting to obtain there DL! Mrs. Brenda was an amazing instructor!
