When it comes to daycares I am very picky it took me a very long time to pick a daycare until I found KinderCare and the tour and everything that was given was just perfect as a mother you can tell when somethings not right in a daycare this daycare is the most comfortable daycare ever for my children they cried the first day and after that they go in the daycare with no problems they are professional high maintenance and they are on their job about everything and I love this daycare soo much I would recommend it to anybody looking for a daycare they truly love and care for the kids and they remember names they are not there just for the money they actually seem Dedicated to their job

I like how Mr. Chris and Ms. Porsha always go out of their way. They have made this experience for my children wonderful.

The staff really cares about the kids and it shows. My son amazes me with how much hes been learning at KinderCare. I absolutely love the entire staff. They are an amazing bunch.

Wonderful day care. I’m always updated with what’s going on in the center. I’m getting pictures daily with my son about what he is doing, learning and eating. I definitely recommend this child care

My son has been at this Center since he was 4 months old, he is now 5. My daughter is 2 and has been here since she was 3 months. The staff and management has been very consistent. They are kind, caring and very concerned when it comes to the children and their needs. I have recommended this daycare to several others and they have used it as well. I am very satisfied with the service I have received through out the years.Ive experienced some concerns through out the years and they have gotten worse with the change of management and lack of consistency. I wish kindercare all the best but I have finally parted ways.

I was confused by the review about the infant room at the North Lamar KinderCare. There are only two in Austin and they are on Emerald Wood and Congress (both south). Maybe she had the name confused because there has never been a KinderCare on North LamarMy children have both gone to KinderCare. They love it! My son has been there since he was an infant and still attends the learning center. My daughter goes to the summer camp every summer and she enjoys it very much. The staff seems knowledgeable and friendly. Management always addresses my questions, concerns and always say hello when I enter the building. The director Amanda is Awesome! I feel like my kids are safe and well taken care of. I also love getting all there projects and pictures sent home for the fridge! Thanks KinderCare staff for all you do for the community and the kids you serve.

I love taking my son here! He always has so much fun with his teachers and classmates. He started at 11 months old and hes been here through 18 months of age. The teachers are all very informative and good about keeping my son on track for developmental milestones. They also frequently do arts and crafts and give the parents the crafts to take home as keepsakes which I love. The tuition is a fair price for Austin being an expensive city and you cant beat the hours of the facility. All the teachers and director Amanda know my sons name even though hes not even in their class yet and Im always greeted with a cheery hello and farewell.

Love how they care about my son and all the kids. Great place to have your kid(s). I wish i didnt have to leave

My son has been attending Kinder Care - Emerald Wood since he was three months old (he is almost 4 years old). I would have to say this daycare center is wonderful. Teachers and staff have always met my high expectations and my son’s needs. I love the fact that each teacher and staff member know my son by name and how to interact with him as he is a sensitive boy.My son is surrounded by lots of love and care. I enjoy seeing each teacher/staff welcoming him every morning and making him feel happy and comfortable. I leave my son at the daycare learning center knowing he is in GREAT hands. Upon pick up time, my son is so excited to share with me what he learned and did that day. I am happy to have found such a great daycare center that loves and respects my son.Thank you Kinder Care - Emerald Wood for all you do!

Everyone is very friendly, their curriculum is great and the environment is clean. There is no weird daycare smells and it is very organized.

So if your kid is less than 18 months or so, this place is ok, the teachers are caring and friendly and will look after your little one.But as your child gets older, I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. As our daughter moved up the classes it was evident how immature the staff is here, and also how overwhelmed.When our child moved into the two year old classroom, I started noticing that when I came to pick her up, the kids were more and more likely to be watching YouTube on the teacher’s phone or a movie on tv while most of the teachers gossiped in the office or hallway.KinderCare advertises that “most” of their centers are NAEYC certified — this one is not and it shows.Things we were told in our last few days here:“I can’t be expected to have close relationships with every kid.”“I have 17 kids to watch by myself!”“Unlike you, I spend time with my kids every day.”Honestly being parent shamed by our child’s daycare, that we give our hard earned money to, was unimaginable.There are other reasons we left this daycare that I’m not going to go into detail on to avoid this review being a novel - but trust me, this is not a good place for your toddler to learn and definitely not a place that employs good role models.

The manager of this facility runs a tight ship. Very tough job. A+
