My son has attended Reggio Emilia for 6 months now and we are very happy! Mrs. Laurie and all the teachers take great care of the kids. There is tons of outdoor time, food is provided and they have additional and optional activities like soccer and no-heat cooking class too! My son is genuinely excited to go to school and I get multiple pictures everyday where I see he is having a blast. Thank you Reggio Emilia for all you do!

I cant say enough good things about Reggio Emilia. I have an almost 4 and 2 year old that LOVE it there. They are so excited to go every morning that I barely get a hug good bye! They come home dirty, exhausted, and HAPPY, and I couldnt love it more. They have so much space to play, learn, and just be kids outside! They also come home with the school work they do during the day and I can tell they are learning so much. Beyond that, all of the staff have been incredible. The teachers treat my children with kindness, respect, and love. The owner/director is easy to communicate with and truly loves all the children and is very involved with all of the day to day going ons. Im so thankful we found this place months ago! Definitely recommend this school!

Weve been with Reggio Emilia for several months.. a little rocky at first..because well every place will be for your baby. But since then, the staff is so nice and my Brandon seems to enjoy his time. All and all, he comes home happy and thats all that matters. We will most likely be here until he goes to school. Thank you for all you do!

I Love Reggio Emilia MPA, Ms. Laurie, Ms. Ada, Ms. Brisa, Ms. Luz, Ms. Janet, and everyone there! They are absolutely professional, and most importantly, caring, loving and absolutely invested in the well-being of our kids. They are angels we cannot stop thanking God for. We’re absolutely blessed to have found them. Absolutely and ultimately recommended 200%! Such a blessing to our family ♥️🙌

I am so happy I found Reggio Emilia and Laurie. My son starting attending a couple weeks ago and we only have wonderful things to report. He loves going going to school and the location has so much play space and they have found ways to incorporate different animals. The owner is fantastic and I appreciate her honestly and transparency. Right from the start she explained the play based approach and explained that our kid will get hurt, he will get dirty but he will learn and have fun too. They still have structured learning time and he has been working on his letters as well. Quite frankly, it was new for us as we had been at a very structured school beforehand but we are happier here and so grateful we found them. My son loves both his teachers and the bilingual aspect is a big bonus. They are also taking COVID very seriously and I feel safe dropping him off there. I highly recommend Reggio Emilia.

Its an amazing place with such caring teachers and the director! I am so lucky that I found the Reggio Emilia, and my child loves there! Playing outside with little chickens, bunnies, ducks, and more! They also learn in an organized curriculum, and Spanish is the bonus!! You can have a tour before registration, and the director, Laurie, will walk through with you. Laurie informed me in advance that my kid will be home with dirty, some mosquito or ant bites, and maybe some bruises, which are totally fine with me. Kids are learning from playing! Its priceless when I see my little one with a big smile talking about how happy her day was!!!

I really like this daycare for several reasons. The first reason is that the owner is really kind and understanding and you can tell she loves the kids and does a lot for them (including cooking!). Secondly, all the teachers are also very kind and have a positive attitude towards parents and the children. And thirdly and most importantly, my kids love going here. They love the teachers and enjoy interacting with the kids/friends. They feel like this is their second home and I feel confident that my kids are in excellent care while I’m at work. I also appreciate the good communication between the owner, teachers, and myself. I plan on keeping my kids here for as long as I can :)

Our experience was not a great one.My child has been enrolled since Summer2019 and today was his last day.It all started with a small child in his class , hitting him and being such a bully to him. I would pick him up and he being a 2 year old who can express himself and communicate well , would tell me about the other children’s behavior of course me being the mother I went to his director and explain what was going on and she was going to resolve the issue.Issue resolved by pulling the other child out. Not sure what explanation she gave the other parents was but that was my first straw.Second straw was Safety and HygieneThis school does not do daily reports of your child, there curriculum is not set individually for every classroom and they don’t follow state regulations .I would pick up my child covered in snot , dried mucus on his nose and plain dirty.Although I provided all the essentials , boogies wipes , nasal tissues and wipes.Sanitation is a lack.I caught two teachers changing diapers on the carpet floor next to we’re the children eat and play with toys.No gloves being used also. They don’t wash your children’s hands , it’s not something they practice frequently . I would ask my child and he gave me a confused face.Third ** He was playing outside one day and I picked him up and he had an open cut to his cheek**No one called me , no incident report was written until I requested one and they provided meditation without my consent ... * Me overthinking the meditation could have provided an allergic reaction.. once we went home I asked my son what had happened and numerous times had stated that a child had hit him with the branch.** lack of supervision and communication ****His grandma is a legal guardian to pick up when I stay late hours at work and one day she caught a teacher yelling aggressively at the children in Spanish stating why was the child crying , she had already feed him and why he was still upset. You are teacher who needs to calm and provide comfort to a child.**Bring your own supplies and make sure you keep count, my sons items , his tissue , wipes and diapers were used by other children without my knowledge.***I gave my 30 day notice and the director turned my words on me and will no longer keep my son enrolled due to my concerns and safety. She immediately asked me to pick up my son right away, as if I don’t work and have a job that I cant leave in such a short notice but remaining professional is one thing the director lacks. All I requested was a teacher who has the proper knowledge , curriculum and patience for my child.Nothing much. I found a different school and hope my review gives anyone the background information they need.
