I trained here for multiple years. It’s a great place with a positive environment. Master Tatum is a great teacher and has helped me become disciplined and respectful, even as a young child.

I have been doing teakwando here for 2 years and I never thought my body could be as flexible as it is today. The instructers are very caring for how you feel, if you feel like you are not doing things like you should then they will pull you aside and help you 1 on 1. I highly sugguset joining this ALOHA: US World Class Taekwondo & Family Martial Arts.

They have been a supportive rock to my family for the last 2 1/2 years,. Theyare very flexible, knowledgeable and understanding. My daughter not only learns good life skills in her TKD classes, but also social skills and the feeling of belonging in the child care.

We came into the class on a 5 week special and soon signed on for a longer commitment. My son LOVES it! He is learning self-control, discipline, appropriate use of strength, respect for authority, and is having a GREAT time doing it. He is almost seven and Master Tatum has been an excellent motivator and coach for him. The kids have fun learning techniques and even some Korean. They play games and are encouraged to cheer for each other. It really feels like family and I am so happy we joined!

Master Tatum and his team are incredible - they perfect the art of discipline and fun, and are fantastic at working with my ADHD and high-anxiety kids.

Master Tatum maintains a structured, organized, and enjoyable environment for students of all ages to learn Tae Kwon Do. The instructors are knowledgeable and the training is professional. Expectations are clear, class time is well-utilized, and safety is maintained during lessons. All ages and skill levels are accommodated. Performance standards are clear and belts must be earned. My son Zandyn has been training for a little over a year and I highly recommend this facility. A wonderful school -motivated teachers who know each child by name. They also teach how to be a better person and what I think is especially wonderful is they teach the kids about stranger danger. I think that the kids who take Tae Kwon Do are much better students at their regular school as well and turn out to be better adjusted teens and young adults. The daycare that is part of this program is exception as well. Tiffany is very engaged and actually assists the students with their work-and truly cares. Highly recommend Master Tatum and this organization.

Weve been coming to this Taekwondo & Family Martial Arts program for several months and my daughter loves it. It can be hectic between classes but Im always able to get my questions or concerns answered and feel like this program is set up to make MY child successful. I checked multiple facilities before choosing this one; it was my favorite and I think its the best. A couple of things could be better so Ill go with a HIGH four stars for now and update to the big FIVE-O as appropriate!

We started with a Groupon and liked the discipline and confidence the class instills, that we signed up for a family plan. Currently my two girls and I (40 year old white belt) attend classes. They are great with kids and the classes are fun. I look forward to getting in shape and moving up in belts.

This place is great and youll wish you had put all your kids in it! They teach your kids to honer their parents and how to try and peacefully avoid fights. If they cant discourage the fight tho, they are taught how to defend themselves. Watch some classs, youll be extremely impressed.. Colleen/Bella

We signed our son up through the 8 week Trianon Groupon, after he expressed interest. Typically my son does not show interest in doing extracurricular sports, and doesn’t want to try new places. He was a bit anxious on his first visit, but by the time we left he said “ I want to go back! “ we are now in our 4th week and he is loving it, the instructors are great with the kids, and have a wonderful Balance of kindness, respect, and discipline. We look forward to seeing our son grow and advance In Taekwondo!

Dont send your kids here its a rip off I had cancelled my daughters classes as there was other personal matters that came up and she would no longer be able to attend class per the instructor/owner of this establishment prior to enrolling told me and my wife that we had 30 days from sign up to cancel with a refund and stated how understanding they are that kids change there interest or thing come up in life he also stated that canellation was easy and he only requested that it be done via writing. We could either drop of in person, mail or email but absoloutley No phone calls. Well We cancelled well before the 30 days and did it via email. But needless to say it was nothing more than a nightmare he would avoid returning responses to our emails so after several emails even ones stating if you call us to please leave a voicemail so we know to get back to you... in which he never did. Well finally he called my wife today and decided to state that we signed and intitaled forms that he doesnt offer refunds. After paying a little over $300 for 3months of classes which was supposedly a deal if you paid in full and not a payment plan...he told her it was in all the documents we signed...well one he never gave us copies of those documents..yes dumb on our part not to request right away and instead assumed we would be getting a copy once classes began..so lesson learned on that part so when my wife questioned him on it stating well it is kind of hard to refer back to documents when you never got a copy in the first place he told her that he stopped handing those out along time ago because people were leaving them in the lobby with there personal info on them. So long story short we end up at the loss of money but lessoned learned as well but buyers be aware of this facitily and the hidden fees plus the policies never have had to write a bad review as we have never been placed in this position before with shady customer service.

Fyi that 5 star review by Troy Tatum is the owner reviewing himself lol. We bought a Groupon for this place. Years ago we did a Groupon to a martial arts school off 185th and were not thrilled and this was closer to home and we figured wed try out a new place. When we got there to register our kids it turned out that Mr Tatum the owner of the one on 185th moved here and this is his new place. He was very rude are belittled us basically calling us cheep in front of our kids for trying to use a Groupon again even though it didnt say anywhere on the Groupon that this is a business that moved of that weve tried this previously. We ended up not signing up even though he tried to force us into it with long term contract as I would never want a person like that being a role model for my children. I dont see how this man can teach kids to deal with bullies and have honor and respect when he himself has none of those attributes.Weve since signed up with Aim High martial arts on Cornell Rd and must say they are amazing. If you want a good experience for you and your kiddos with great role models and a welcome atmosphere as well as amazing classes with a very accommodating schedule I recommend you steer clear of Mr. Tatums gym of horrors and try out the great folks at Aim High!
