This is our daughters second year at this beautiful little Montessori school. We looked at several schools in the area when we first arrived and we are so happy we chose this one. The teachers have been there for over 10 years, and are extremely dedicated to the school and to the kids. The number of kids is relatively small so they get a lot of quality learning time with the teachers. The indoor space is bright and warm, and there is a lovely garden for the kids to explore nature every day. It has an intimate, family feel to it, which is why we chose it over some of the (bigger) schools. Our daughter loves going to school there!

We feel very lucky to have this school in our neighborhood. It our son’s third year here and he is having a great experience. The teachers are wonderful – in addition to being warm and caring, they are thoughtful about every detail of the student experience and relentless in encouraging our son to be as independent as he can possibly can be.

My kids attended a couple years ago and we loved it. We found it to be a really special place to bring my when my kids were little. They started off just being there in the morning then went all day when they were 4. It’s walkable from our house in upper NW DC, and my kids always loved being there. After kindergarten then entered public school, but always ask to go back and visit. I think that says a lot about the school and the teachers.

Our daughter is currently in her second year at Crestview and we could not be happier. The staff is phenomenal, creating a very warm and inclusive environment for the children and their families. Our daughter absolutely loves going to school each day and has since day 1. What has really impressed my husband and I though has been the education/learning focus that the school has as part of its core mission/curriculum. At three and a half she is already reading and starting to do some some early math all which is a result of instruction at the school. We continue to be blown away each day by what she comes home being able to do. The schools focus is very much on creating responsible, considerate and autonomous children, so there is a big focus on having children learn to be independent and help out with all chores around the house, an added bonus. Would strongly recommend to anyone with young children. We plan to send all of our children once they hit the entry level.
