Chanan is a very good instructor. The classes are intense, yet constructed to our individual capabilities. It is a great way to learn self defense, in a safe environment, which is an important skill for everyone to know. You are challenged to get better, and receive the full value for each lesson.

Very thorough course that I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone who wants to learn about basic firearm and self-defense. I plan on taking additional courses as he has multiple levels of training. I recommend this without hesitation.

I was looking for a Krav Maga instructor and found Magen Krav Maga. The instructor is very experienced and professional. His studio is brand new and easy to get to. Learning how to defend myself has made me aware and given me a peace of mind regarding being a more confident teacher at my public school, running errands around town, and traveling abroad. I recommend this program to anyone who does not want to be an easy target.

I trained with Chanan for 2 years while I was living in Delaware. The classes were great in terms of mentality and fitness. Over time it was very easy to tell how much I had improved.I really wish Chanan was available as an instructor in my current locale. I wish him the best of luck with his new venture in Florida.

Magen Krav Maga is one of the best training experiences I have ever invested my time in. Chanans passion for sharing his knowledge of self defense and years of hands on experience with each and everyone one of his students from beginner to advanced is second to NONE. I have learned so much from him and feel better equipped if for any reason I find myself in a threatening situation. I trained with him in his DE studio and look forward to training with him again when he is in town but when I get a chance to be in FL I will absolutely make a stop at his new studio. I trained under Chanan for a little over two years when he taught in Philadelphia and I enjoyed every minute of the classes. What he teaches may someday save your life if God forbid you are ever attacked and fighting off your attacker is your only option. The warmup exercises are tough but they are just getting you ready for the real workout. He will teach you how to defend yourself by punching, kicking, choking and knocking down an attacker. The sparring sessions are intense and at the end of the class you will be sore but over time you will become stronger and more confident in your abilities.Chanan is a wonderful instructor and Krav Maga is in his blood so he takes the classes seriously.He has excellent credentials and what he teaches is priceless.
