Miserable does not do justice to how bad this store is.Went to have a 300 page document professionally punched and spiral bounded. We handed the associates the documents in the correct order and orientation to be punched and spiral bounded. We stood at the counter and waited for the job to be done. We watched the associate helping us (mistake #1) punch the wrong side of the first set of pages and realizing his mistake reversed the pages and punched the other side. Wondering how the associate would approach his mistake we decided not to say anything while he worked. The associate continued what he was doing and (mistake #2) made the same mistake again. We still kept quiet and observing as he proceeded to finish hole punching the remainder of the document correctly and manually spiral binding it. Another observation during this whole process was that the associate was constantly on his phone. We said nothing because perhaps he was searching YouTube videos that would show him how to properly punch and spiral bound a 300 page document. After spiral binding the pages (mistake #3) the associate carried the finished product over to us and told us to have a good day. At that point we proceeded to point out the mistakes (mistake #4) another of which some of the pages were in upside down and the associate told us that it was an easy fix. At this point we decided that he might not be competent enough to actually fix the mistakes because he also lacks the integrity and pride in his work to bring his mistakes to the customers attention to begin with. When we tried to talk to the manager that was on duty, the associate proceeded to argue with us and the only thing the manager had to say to the associate was dont argue but the associate continued with his belligerent attitude.We have been going to this Office Depot for over 18 years now because it is close and convenient. We have watched the customer service experience gradually deteriorate to the point to where it is no longer a customer service experience and more like arguing with your teenagers that refuse to take responsibility for their mistakes.We will no longer shop at this Office Depot store and will opt for the less convenient yet better customer service oriented competition that Staples has to offer.

This place should honestly get a new manager or shut down. The management at this location is terrible. All the employees just meander around and dont keep the store tidy, will actively ignore you, and have no idea what they are talking about. The office tech support station (The only redeeming quality of this store) now had no one working at it, as the previous employee quit (probably due to the awful oversight there). Unless they are under new management sometime soon in the future they should save themselves some cash and shut this location down.

The printing area is incredibly slow even with 4-5 people working in that one area Two people were ahead of me for an 11 minute wait. Barely anyone in the store. 11 minutes turned into 30 so I just left. 45 mins later I get a txt that its still an 11 minute wait.

Ron was AWESOME!! His multi-tasking skills was all that!!! He made sure he gave everyone proper attention to do what it took to get job done!! Thank you so much Ron for GREAT customer service!!!

Normally when I come to the ship and print area I have super helpful and knowledgeable people but today no one knew how to help me send a letter through FedEx. The woman at the counter was very kind and wanted to help but she was not sure how to do it and was struggling with the person before me as well. She called for help but that person that came also said they had never been trained to do any of it either. Overall, it took 45 min for me to send a letter when it wasnt busy, just a lack of training that was the issue.

The printing area is terrible they don’t want to do their job all they do is staying on their phones. I don’t understand how you want to get paid and you don’t want to work? How could you forget about your customer’s order when you have the form next to you I don’t get it. So unprofessional!!!!

Carol Brown, is a horrible store manager. She literally knows absolutely nothing when it comes to helping customers, she often runs into the back office to get out of helping customers. She’s very unprofessional, I came in the store one day some weeks ago and I could hear her yelling at an employee from the front of the store. She also brings up the fact that she’s only been the store manager at office depot for a couple of months, whenever she cannot help a customer. I was very displeased with my service please hire a manager that actually knows what they’re doing.

Today a super helpful young lady in printing named Nikki helped me. I needed one of my kids school books spiral bound ASAP and she took care of the job the same day. I must have looked really frazzled because she just went above and beyond and I am very grateful. Actually, any time I go in the staff is very helpful. Good service is lacking most places these days and I wanted to encourage the good service Ive gotten at the Bowie store!

Ron in copy and print was extremely helpful. I had issues with my photo formats and he helped me fix them. Highly recommend visiting this store!

There is one employee in printing area who is very unprofessional and zero customer service and people skills. On two occasions in the past 2 weeks, this person has been difficult to even TRY to work with. I am grateful to other staff who have been professional and provided good customer service. Yesterday, I had to leave and take my business to another store because of this persons unprofessional demeanor. My 5 rating is now a 2 for this location.

Needed a few office items, went on the internet and Office Depot had the items in stock. An associated guided me to one of the items on the wish list. Fast friendly checkout. Once home it was carefully unpacked and it surpassed my requirements, it was a folding rolling cart. Will be using it to transport water for a support group. The cart is rated at 220lbs. While it exceeds my requirements it good to know that it can transport extra baggage if necessary. Very pleased, Office Depot is always my first choice/stop for office items, the store is always well stocked with a helpful staff, saving time and fuel.

I needed to get my papers bound and I got a great service from Kimberly who managed my work and another costumer simultaneously, and had us out the door in no longer than 5-6 minutes.

I highly recommend this store as a one stop shop for your electrical needs. The staffs here are immensely knowledgeable. However, Im giving them a 4 star owing to the poor state in which the rest room was in.Aside that, they are well stocked amd will most likely have what you are looking to purchase, if it is an electronic product

The copier machines have been upgraded where you are now required to pay per copy at the machine with your debit or credit card. You are no longer able to use the computers. It was very clean and the clearance section was full of good finds! I was able to get a mini binder fir just $1! The only drawback was it was time consuming because I had to make the copies myself.

Continuing with my year of shopping local, when my laptop died, I went to Office Depot and spoke with Kevin about my needs in a laptop and my price range. Kevin helped me choose the best for me, and actually saved me money! I paid the extra for them to install, and I got another discount! I went the next day to pick it up, and the other gentleman was already booting my new computer, to make sure everything was ready.I am so pleased that my visit was so easy, and the employees treated me with respect.

Good luck finding someone to help if you need it. There never anyone on the floor. And the lady in the printing area is very unprofessional, and you can tell she’s not a happy employee.

I usually have good shopping experiences and customer service at this store. Yesterday a female employee was extremely rude. If I choose not to wear makeup that is my right. Whether or not I look tired should not be up for conversation and expressed in a rudely manner. I totally regret not telling her off and even purchasing the item. I will never be purchasing future products there. Don’t wonder why people are going to Amazon if you are having those type of employees around. I don’t put up with bad customer service.

They have practically everything thats not food here for your needs. The costumer service is awesome, with lots of warranty options for your purchases. They have great tech and school supplies as well.

They are always helpful and Johnny on the Spot with solutions, etc. Very friendly staff.
