We found this school 2+ years ago & we gained a family. Not only do they provide my children (now 7 & 8) with techniques for self defense, structure & discipline but they treat them as if they were their own. I leave my kids here not worrying about a thing. They also pick my kids up from school so this helps our family tremendously. In would recommend this school to anyone looking for a good martial arts school who care about their children. They are patient, stern when they need to be & help our kids grow into great human beings. GREAT SCHOOL!!

My daughter loves this school. She says it’s awesome. The teachers are prepared, kind and polite. Also, they speak Spanish which is great!

My son has been attending this Center since the Summer of 2011. Our experience with the School and Instructors has been one of a kind. Words cannot explain the professionalism and warmness I feel every day I come in contact with them. It could be a normal morning dropping off my son, where I just feel extremely comfortable and at ease leaving my son at this Center for a fun filled day, because these guys really go above and beyond every summer with the daily activities scheduled for the kids. I honestly feel like my son has found a second family in them, and I am forever grateful to everyone at this Center that has made him and us feel this way. Thank you!!

My son enjoys this place, he never really wanted to do taekwondo but when he started he never want to miss a day. He enjoys learning different techniques and I think that it has helped him build his self-esteem.

We first introduced my son to martial arts when he was at VPK. We were lucky enough to have Miss Sinai Ortega visit for classes and her kind & nurturing mannerisms made her a huge hit.My son enjoyed his VPK classes and soon started to go to classes at the Brandon dojo.Fast forward 7 years and he is now an advanced red belt who is strong, confident and most importantly, respectful.We have Miss Sinai, Master Rafael & now Master Sebastian to thank for his transformation.They have taught our son and all the kids that go here, courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self discipline & indomitable spirit.The school is highly recommended and even runs a super cool summer camp program that our son loves.If you want your kids to get fit, strong and be respectful, this is the place for you.5 stars!

Worst experience I’ve ever had, my kids were so excited to be here and i every time i picked them up they are missing clothes shoes socks, the younger gentlemen was extremely rude yelling at my both my 5 year olds and being very disrespectful, when i brought it to there attention i was told to speak to his mother and she looked at me like i was dumb and instead of resolving the issue she and him cornered me in a room(the girls dressing room, where no male should be) where her son proceeded to yell and tell me i need to come in a better attitude and he isn’t a babysitter and doesn’t have to help my kids... so what am i paying 1200 a month for ? I’m just saying if he did all this in front of me what is he doing to the kids behind my back when I’m not there ? I would not recommend this place to anyone to bring their children to! If you want mental/verbal abuse to you child then this is the place but if you don’t then DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE! This is a horror story and this place and very unorganized and i don’t understand how they are even in business still! Everyone if your gonna pay this kind of money pay it to a place where they care about your children instead of the money!!

I 100% recommend sending your child to Traditional Tae-Kwon-Do of Brandon. My son has been attending here for 3 years and he loves it. They teach you self defense, different TaeKwon-Do techniques and much more. They also have an amazing summer camp program.

If there were NO STARS to give this place I wouldnt give them any STARS. I wouldnt recommend anyone to go here. This organization is very unorganized. They have a young gentleman running some of the classes and he is very rude & disrespectful. I have my three children going there ages 8, & two 5 year olds. He yelled at my 5 year old son telling him he wasnt his babysitter and pulled him outside. His mother also is at the school & she isnt any better. She allowed it to happen. On top of that, every time I walk into the place he is constantly on his phone & not paying attention. He yelled at my partner & corned her into a room and told her he isnt a babysitter. So what exactly are we paying you for. If he was this rude to me & my 5 year old how do you think he is treating other younger students. Also, they arent even teaching the children the correct way of Taekwondo. They are teaching their own version & its all in Spanish which isnt fair at all. My kids were only enrolled into this place for 2 weeks I pulled all 3 of them out. I spoke with the owner and he informed me that he has been trying to get the young guy out but his mom will not let him go & that if he doesnt live the owner will leave. We will see how true that is.I DO NOT RECOMMENT ANYONE TO ENROLL THEIR CHILDREN INTO THIS ORGANIZATION. I AM SURE THEY WILL GO DOWNHILL FROM HERE ESPECIALLY IF THE YOUNG GUY IS STILL THERE.

More than 2 years ago my son was coming back from the school with notes from the teacher about his behaviour and lack of attention. For a while i was trying to fix it by cutting off his xbox games time and speaking with him every day. Next day he got a happy face, but the following day he messed up it again and again. So, i was searching for any sport school and learned about martial arts benefits. I found this Taekwondo school which is close to my home and my sons school and gave it a try. My son was excited and was improving his behaviour at school in a few months. Today, my son which is only 10 years old behaves like a grown man with plenty of respect and attention to details, he has become a lead on his class, has higest scores on all classes and even one of the higest scores in the entire county. He has learned martial arts and becoming stronger man physically and mentally. He loves taekwondo and it became an important motivation and tool for his future growth. Today, i have no words to thanks Master Sebastian for his great job and all he has done for my son! I have been in many tournaments for upgrading my son to a higer belt rank and Master Sebastian is the most talented from all black belt masters i have seen there besides his young age. Thak you Sebastian!

Best after school program and summer camp! Reasonable prices. My son has learned so much from going here. Theres never a dull moment they learn skills, discipline, respect, they have fun and so much more! I wouldnt choose anything else for him. The Traditional Tae kwon do center does so much for are kids. Highly recommend.

Incredible school! There are a lot of mcDojos out there where as long as you pay you just get a black belt. Not at this place. Here EVERYONE has to put in the work. A belt is earned, not given. My little cousin has been going here for a few years now and I love that they actually teach him discipline. He has learned to be responsible for keeping track of all his own items and we no longer need to remind him to do his home work! (He is only 8!) The instructor is very professional and fair with all the children. At my cousins belt testing last month, Kyosahnim Sebastian gave him the confidence to keep working hard despite not being able to break the board the first try. I was so impressed to see my little cousin keep trying until he broke the board. If you want your kids to learn how to keep working hard, especially when success doesnt come easy, then bring your kids here!

Traditional Tae Kwon Doe of Brandon is an amazing school. The staff is very friendly and easy to talk to. My kids and I felt welcomed there right from the start. Also, all the instructors are great. Particularly, Sebastian, my kids instructor. He is intelligent, kind, and knows every student by name and makes sure every student is doing the exercises correctly. I can tell he really cares what he does and about each and every student in the class. He motivates the kids and wants them to succeed. My kids really enjoy going to Tae Kwon Doe there and I know your kids would too.

It has been 1.5 years since I joined this school. From day 1 it has been a great source of knowledge and fun. I learnt many fighting and self defense techniques which will surely help me maintain a good physique and also help others when needed. Master Rafael is a great person and has helped me build my tae kwon do skills a lot. He has lot of experience in this and other forms of martial arts. Over all I am very much satisfied and proud to be a student of this school.

Joined their class with my two daughters (6 and 9 yrs old). The class has promoted courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self discipline and indomitable spirit in our children. My wife and I are very pleased with Master Rafael Coutin and Master Sinai Ortega.Testing for a belt requires that the student not only has parental consent but a letter goes to the childs school, where the teacher has to sign off on behavior and academics prior to testing as well!!! This was impressive to us and we witnessed this positively affect the behavior of multiple students.There are plenty of events to stay busy as well as invitations to visit places such as Germany, Hawaii and more to expand your education in the arts. Grand Master Brunner has been practicing for 37 years and is a 7th Dan Black Belt. Although we do not study directly from him, the school we attend follows a set curriculum and we visit the other schools and have multi-school events.If you are interested in getting on the right track in regards to mental and physical fitness I highly recommend this, especially if you can make it a family function. Dont be shy, everyone is clueless when they first start and the entire family of friends who attends the school is happy to help you learn.I personally have lost 10 lbs, our youngest has gained significant focus and I cant express how pleased we are when it comes to the self-confidence gained by our oldest daughter. Thank you so much for the challenge, we look forward to each class.
