Weve had our daughter at TR for 2.5 years, since she turned 4 and could start in the Cubs class. Well start our son in the fall when he is old enough! It has been a great outlet for her personality and temperament, and has helped shaped great character qualities in her, like self-control, patience, good attitude, determination, and more.Everyone on staff is so great to interact with and she has loved all of her instructors from the beginning. The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Dear, have always been quick to respond to any questions we have had. The staff has been so diligent and flexible during Covid also. I absolutely love how flexible the schedule is and how you can see/hear what is going on in their class (neither of which I had the options with when we tried gymnastics).Will always recommend Tiger Rock to anyone who asks :)

My grandson has been taking Taekwondo from Tiger-Rock since April of 2019. In the last two years he has grown in his self confidence and loves going to class. All of the instructors are wonderful. They encourage each student to do their best, and regardless of the outcome to be proud of their efforts and to move forward. Enrolling him in this program was such a great decision!

I had been looking for an extra curricular activity my son would enjoy, we tried soccer and baseball but nothing seemed fitting, then we were invited to tiger rock and the search was over! The instructors know my child’s name and they help him each and every time he goes. He looks forward to practice and comes home excited to show us what he’s learned! Best experience hands down!

Gertie is a twin. When we had to separate her from her twin in fourth grade things didn’t go well. Gertie didn’t know how to relate to other kids without her sister. Her awkwardness made her a target and things went downhill fast. Until Tiger-rock, Within weeks Gertie became a different child. She became confident in who she was and what she could do. She has learned to lead by example, not just how to stand up for herself, but how to stand up for others. She has learned self-control, self-confidence and self-worth. I can honestly say they are family and we would be lost without them.

Tiger Rock is one of the best decisions we ever made for our son. We signed up after getting bullied on the school bus for 2 years. This has helped his confidence and he is no longer afraid of being bullied. Looking forward to many more years of Tiger Rock.

The Dears run a great academy with excellent instructors. They way they go about it, its not just TKD, they help you become a better person through the lessons learned along your TKD journey. They did wonders for the development of my daughter and other members of my family. I highly recommend Brandon Tiger Rock!

I highly recommended Tiger Rock Martial Arts for any boy or girl ages 4+. My son started Tiger Rock in June of 2016 at the age of 7; just as a summer activity...Here we are over 1.5 yr later, he is almost 9 and is very involved and loves it. It really was one of the best decisions weve made; he has learned so much more than the art of kicking and punching; hes learned concentration, how to work as a team, how to support and respect others, how to handle disappointments and even how to handle himself in a humble manner during his accomplishments. The instructors at Tiger Rock are great; they treat each kid like family, and are truly invested in each one. They want to see them succeed not only on the mat but in life. My only regret is we didnt start sooner, if you havent seen the Tiger Cubs (4-5 yr olds) in action, you are missing out.

We love Tiger Rock! My only regret is not starting my son sooner! I really had no idea the positive impact it would have on him. The instructors are so great with all the kids. And they also are great with the parents! I’m not easily impressed and I only want the best for my kids and they are the best and have impressed me so very much. Awesome Academy! We have had a great experience. My 8 year olds confidence is so much better now after starting here. He loves going. He loves the class, his classmates & the instructors! The instructors are just wonderful, very patient. I am so glad we tried it! It has all been positive for us. Family-friendly environment! I am a worry-some mom and ask a ton of questions. Not once have they ever madam feel like I was bothering them. I would highly recommend trying them out!

I wish there was a way to choose 10 stars instead of 5. This program and the instructors are one of the best things thats ever happened to my kids. Its the kind of thing that not only conditions the body, it transforms the mind also. The life lessons, confidence, and discipline theyve gained are incredible.Its just amazing, and I would (and do) recommend it every chance I get!

I cannot say thank you enough for all that the instructors do for our kids. They go above and beyond for every child they teach. The kids learn so much more than karate. The instructors are teaching them to become great young adults. If your child is interested in taking karate, call and visit a class.

Tiger Rock Academy offers more than just taekwondo lessons. It is a place filled with knowledgeable caring instructors that encourage each one of their students. They go above and beyond with their teaching. Students learn about respect, discipline, character, and being leaders. It is the most positive sport my son has participated in and we are so proud to be a part of this family.

Started with just the kids and decided to join myself. All of the instructors are very professional and have an amazing ability to make class fun while learning at the same time. My kids love this place and are showing benefits of training, and adults like it too, its really a great workout!!

There are not enough words to express the awesome experience my son and I have had (and continue to have) at this wonderful academy! This is quite literally a home away from home. Not to mention an extention of my family. The instructors are beyond top notch and truly care about each and every student they teach. Best experience as a mother and student Ive ever had!

I have a 5 year old and 8 year currently taking Taekwondo at Tiger Rock. They absolutely love going to train. The instructors ability to maintain the focus of these children amazes me. I would recommend it to anybody, especially if you have tried the normal extracurriculars and your children did not take to it. One of my children simply doesnt enjoy most sports but he loves Taekwondo.

My daughter Finley loves Tiger Rock, it is amazing to see a little girl who often struggles to focus and concentrate, try so hard and be successful in doing those two things to achieve in these classes.

My family had an unplesant experience with this location. Be very aware of the 60 day written notice cancellation policy!!! We suffered a job loss and even though verbally we were told that we could cancel at the end of the current month, that was not the policy that was followed. It was difficult to cover the charges with the lower family budget. Not even cable or cell phone companies have such cancellation policies.

My family has been with Tiger Rock for a little over 4 years. My children enjoy the classes and I enjoy watching them learn lif lessons along the way!

This place is a belt farm, if your kid is in the Cubs program, every month and a half they give all the kids stripes to test for the next belt ($65 per test on top of the monthly fee, never seen seen a kid not get a belt) once the Cubs make it to black belt they start over at white belt, it seems they are more concerned about money than anything. If you pay month to month once you sign the cancelation paperwork you still have a 3 month cancelation period where you are still charged (your child can still attend but thats still another $354 you are paying once youve cancel) They also have a summer uniform that you dont HAVE to buy but everyone else is getting one and they will feel left out thats another $50 for shorts and a t-shirt. There are about 20 (give or take a few) 4 and 5 year Olds in the cubs class so they dont always get specific attention on if they are doing things right but thats ok because its not what its about, we are more concerned with teaching them life skills, like focus, but you can also get private lessons. However the instructors are good with the kids, and know their name by their second class, they just dont seem too concerned with your kids actually learning any taekwondo properly.
